Goodbye February

Good evening, everyone! Tonight is the last day of February and we move into March in less than 2 hours (MST time, that is). Here's what's been up with the camp in the last couple of days...

POETIC DEATH: Yesterday, Poe announced that from 8PM-10PM PST he will be on Huskey Radio on Wednesday. Make sure you tune in next week! He also made a tweet saying that he and Gavlyn will be working on "Castlevania Pt. II," so look out for that (and watch the video for "Castlevania" if you haven't already).

GAVLYN: Gav is back in the states, and is already back on her grind. With a fresh hair cut (I'm loving those Betty Page bangs on her) and a can't-stop-won't-stop mindset, she has a few shows lined up already. On March 12th, she'll be at SXSW and performing in the 2nd Annual Hip-Hop Pow Wow Unofficial Showcase at The Eastern. Check out the line up for more information.

JMEGA: Yesterday, the music video for the True Masterz' song "Angelz and Demonz" was posted up. This dark song/video finds JMega and MighGawd rapping about death and question your beliefs of good and evil. Very dope song and video, so if you haven't already seen it, go ahead and WATCH HERE or below in the mini player.

PAPA J: Papa J turned 24 yesterday, so you should probably wish him a happy belated birthday via Facebook and/or Twitter.

VIDA KILLZ: Vida dropped the music video for her "Remnants of Death" song today, filmed by Sol Fern Fotographia. WATCH HERE or in the mini player below. Make sure you grab her Phantom Loose Leaves EP, if you don't already have it.

YARAH BRAVO: Yarah will be flying to France tomorrow (March 1st) to perform at the Free Sons Divers festival, along with several other acts, so if you're in the area... you should be there. Also, after gaining 22,222 Facebook fans a few days ago (the number has grown), she is asking everyone to share how they first connected with her and/or how you found out about her music. Share your story here.

SARA FLEUR: Last but not least, the blue-haired beauty Sara posted up two new photos. Have a look here and here. I really dig the second photo, so much so that it makes me want to illustrate an art piece inspired by it/her. The bright blue hair with the hot pink lips just pops so much. Fleur is fly!

Have a wonderful weekend.
Do good, fun things, and keep a smile on your face. :)
Peace, Tiffology.

Shoot to Kill

HELLO OGT FANS AND FANATICS, FRIENDS AND FOES !

My name is ASTER, and welcome to the weekly WEDNESDAY update of all things ORGANIZED THREAT. I had the pleasure of spending this evening with none other than the general himself VONPOEVII, the acrobatic flying squirrel RICS RUMBLE, and the shooter EATDABABIES. Our evening began with a bit of exercise at SkyHigh trampoline park, where we forced our bodies to do things they were probably never meant to do but SHIT, it's fun stuff. Front flips, back flips, aerials, you name it. From there, we found our way to a lovely shooting range, equipped with a S&W .40, a HK .45, and topped it all of with a 12 gauge shotgun. Let me tell you though, when you shoot a 12 gauge shotgun at someone, you shoot to kill. Not to take out a leg or an arm, no. You shoot a 12 gauge and you shoot to be lethal, no if ands or butts about it. The same way a skilled shooter takes out his target is the same way our very own EMPTY SEV brought the pain with these fresh visuals for hi song 'Seven Empty'. Produced by VONPOEVII, Seven Empty is firing off rounds like nobody's business. Please, you freaks, if you haven't done so already, take a peak at EMPTY SEV'S latest video 'Seven Empty'. Relax and enjoy the poetry!
#BREAKINGNEWS: Tonight will be the last night to enter PAPAJ RUIZ'S inspirational contest. Threatstrumentals...It's Here

This is FiascoTheGod and welcome to another OGT Weekly.

They're Here...

The biggest news I have for you guys today is the release of Threatstrumentals, a beat tape that consists of two new beats from every Organized Threat producer. Before you go on your listening expedition, obtain some background information on the project by checking out my interview with Endure by clicking here. Threatstrumentals is a very monumental achievement for the entire Organized Threat movement. It further supports that Organized Threat will not let 2014 pass them by without leaving an impression. This tape is not only for the present but for the future. I say this because not only is this project designed for our listening pleasure, the beats are also up for lease and exclusive purchase. This means that there are verses being created at this moment that will one way or another end up on one of these beats and the lyricists don't even know it yet! These beats will spark the minds of lyricists on first listen which will lead to the birth of a verse within a matter of minutes. One great thing about this project, amongst others, is that every OGT producer was able to agree to release one project together. Once the agreement took place, the strength of Organized Threat was boosted even before this tape was released. With all of that being said, click here to experience history.

The Latest

Poetic Death plans on releasing EmptySev's new visual. The general tweeted, "#REALQUICK: Just finished filming this new EmptySev (@sevenxempty) video. Gonna drop it tomorrow. #ORGANIZEDTHREAT". It is unknown what the name of the track is nor if it will be on an upcoming album. Also, Vida Killz released A Year In Words: Volume II. This is a 6 track compilation project put together by the poet herself.

Random Organized Threat Tweet

This OGT Weekly's random Organized Threat tweet goes to Joogy Jugg with his honest tweets. He turns back the clock and lets us in on some personal history with him and Papa J. Joogy Jugg tweets "Fact: I still owe @PapaJRuiz a bike from freshmen year". He subsequently tweeted "That nigga @PapaJRuiz let me use his bike freshmen year and my own peoples jacked me for it a week later". Thank you Joogy Jugg for the honesty and providing us with an intriguing fact!

Throw your underwear in the ayerrrr!

POETIC DEATH: Yesterday, Poe shared a photo from when he and a bunch of friends visited the Perris Cemetary to pay respect to some friends that passed away while growing up. He shared some sentimal words, too, saying "Words can't really do justice to how much of a blessing this afternoon has been. Went to the Perris Cemetery to visit some of the homies graves who passed away growing up, and ran into Cash's mom at his gravesite. Brought back so many memories, and had one of the greatest most heartfelt conversations in a long time. She was locked up when the homie passed, and this was the first time the she got to meet us. Super dope, and happy as fuck I got to share this moment with the homies @koolz1_iicc, @johnnygee_iicc, @bulletbeatzbang, @cfphotography1, and @yungceelow. In loving memory, remain eternal."

On a lighter note, Poe is offering up some official "VONPOEVII" stickers to anyone wanting to help spread the word. Send your name and address to him via email and slap 'em up wherever you feel necessary. Get yours!

BONNIE BLUE: Your favorite azul lady Bonnie Blue will be rocking a show tonight at The Music Factory in Ventura, California (flyer). She will be performing all of the songs from her debut album All Things Considered, plus some new unreleased joints. Doors open at 8PM, her set begins at 11PM. $5 at the door. Check out her other show dates here, too.

GAVLYN: It looks like Gavlyn is having a blast over in Europe, guys! Aside from the fun, memorable shows she's been rocking, experiences she's been sharing, and love that she's getting overseas, we've been seeing several photos of Gavlyn, Feggy Min, and Sara Fleur hanging out together. Here is another one--check out that Homer Simpson skirt Sara is wearing and that blue Bart Simpson dress Gav is wearing! These ladies are fly. While we're on the fashion tip, Gavlyn did a shoot for the clothing line K1X WMNS. Here's a little behind-the-scenes video of that day (watch here).

Oh, what's that? You thought only women threw panties on the stage at their favorite musicians? Nah, a grown man threw his black underwear up at Gavlyn during her show in Copenhagen, and they managed to snap a picture together afterwards (have a look). Hahahaha. Throw your underwear in the ayerrrr, and wave 'em like you just don't cayurrrrr!

All that said, her European Tour is wrapping up with a show tonight at the NED Music Club in Montreux and her final show is at the Exil Club in Zurich. If you're in or around those cities, do what you can to make it out there, have the time of your life, and say what's up!

PAPA J: Papa J is giving back to his fans by holding a special contest. For anyone on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, all you need to do is share your favorite picture of him + the best quote that not only inspires you, but can also inspire the world (put the quote on the picture). Make sure you tag @papajruiz to be entered! Two winners will be chosen on February 27th, and the prizes include a "No R3c" shirt + CD, Early Prep CD, 5:55am mixtape, a "iii" sticker, and a signed Life As I Know It poster. Not only that, but you'll also receive a gift from NewWorldKings and Joogy Jugg. All of this merch and more can be yours, so get involved.

YARAH BRAVO: If you're seeking some new aural pleasure from Yarah, go listen to Long Lost Relative's song "Between Machines and Dreams," featuring Yarah and Bajka. Over an array of heavenly-sounding strings, head-nodding drums, and a tropical-like melody, this lovely song finds Yarah and Bajka rapping/singing (respectively) about a thinline between dreams had when awake and asleep. A contrast of what might be perceived as good and bad; sweet dreams and destructive dreams, perhaps? Whatever it is, it's a beautiful song! Listen and grab that single for €1 ($1.37 USD). On the topic of radiating beauty, take a look at Yarah's new profile picture here!

RAZOR: If you're free this Sunday (February 23rd), Razor and OhWhen are throwing a free "Black History Month" show in Beverly Hills. Fellow OGT fam will be performing, such as DJ StarChild on the turntables, Jasson C on the mic, and THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. playing a beat set. Check the flyer for more information!

DEVOUR: Devour's official birthday bash happens tomorrow night (February 22nd) at Mirror Image Studios in Anaheim, California. All ages. Entry is $10 at the door | $30 for VIP (includes meet & greet + a poster + a pic). Peep the flyer for further information.

FEGGY MIN: Feggy has posted some brand new illustrations, one featuring Demento (have a look) and one featuring New Champ (look here). Also, her "Eminem Holy Donut" design is now available on t-shirts. There is a special 20% coupon discount on all items in her shop (use at checkout), too, so hurry up and get yourself some Feggy gear!

Lastly, peep this brand new photo of Feggy and Sara decked out in Feggy Min Clothing.

Hope I fulfilled your OgT fix... until Monday.
This is the last weekend of February, so make it a great one!
Much love, Tiffology.

Valentine's Shmalentine's

HELLO OGT FANS AND FANATICS, FRIENDS AND FOES !

Welcome to Wednesday of this wonderful week, I hope all you happy humpers out there are having a hell of a time. Valentine's day has come and gone, which means their are millions of roses in the houses of lovely 'Merica beginning to wilt and decay, chocolates melted and regretfully consumed. Unless you happened to be one of the lucky ones who received fake flowers and some ooey-gooey greeting card in which case congratulations, you can enjoy your plastic love until death do-ith part. But lets really take a moment to evaluate what's so popular about this narcissistic Holiday. Looking back in time, it seems Valentine's day actually has a very gruesome history. First, Saint Valentine was beheaded on Feb 14th 926 for illegally wedding Christian couples. An even more bloody event for you freaks and geeks who appreciate that tragic stuff was the Valentines Day Massacre of 1929. Resulting in the murder of 7 members of an irish gang fighting for control of organized crime in Chicago, The Valentine's Massacre of 1929 echos an even more horrific massacre on Feb 14 1349. The Strasbourg Massacre resulted in the burning of hundreds of Jews, while hundreds more were exiled from their homes in attempt to quarantine the Black Death. You can read more about Valentine's history here. So, with that being said, It seems to beg the question; what's so important about taking time to spread the love on Feb 14th? Nothing, and that's the reality of it all. It's pretty much perpetuated now by the media and those of you who still validate the tradition; generally [humans] are reluctant to change, especially when it comes to something as powerful as love which can be exploited, marketed, and turned into revenue.
My point being---> have a reason to spread love all the time, not just one historically gruesome day of the year. Take it upon y o u r s e l v e s to spread the love, it's more genuine when its not accompanied by the obligation of a tradition. The truth of it is love, and being in love, is rather easy. It becomes complicated and polluted when you assign limitations and obligations to love, that's when love starts to die nymphs and nymphettes. On a side note, love with your brain as well as your genitalia. Now that that rant is out of the way, lets recap this weeks' ORGANIZED THREAT NEWS!

#BREAKINGNEWS; The general himself VONPOEVII recently announced a collaborative effort with KWERVO titled 'The Poet and the Raven Vol. 1'. Riddled with lovely themes like God and punishment, Vol 1 is sure to have your mind fucked faster than it takes you to finish this sentence. So open your ears and eyes little ones, and enjoy the poetry. Follow the little tweety below for more information on future volumes of 'The Poet and the Raven' !
YARAH BRAVO also recently dropped a list of up and coming locations of shows she rockin! If any of you nymphs and nymphettes on that side of the world feel like supporting ya OGT member, [as i'm sure all of you do] follow the little tweety for more information on how to snag your spot before it's too late. Stay tuned for more news and upcoming events regarding miss YARAH BRAVO!
Miss GAV also announced that she will be performing a show at Loppen, Christiania in Copenhagen DK! GAV goes on at 10pm, so be sure to snag your spot soon before your chance is gone! Follow the little tweety below for more details on how to snag your spot and for the latest GAVLYN AND SHIT news nymphs and nymphettes
Also, check out GAV, FEGGYMIN, and SARA FLEUR rocking some FEGGYMIN  gear! Follow the little tweety below, veiw miss FEGGYMIN'S merch and cop yourself some one of a kind gear!

Lastly but not leastly, don't forget to snag your tickets for DEVOUR'S birthday bash Feb. 22 which happens to be this Saturday freaks and geeks! See you there? Damn staight #OGT

OGT Weekly 2/17/14

This is FiascoTheGod and here is the latest scoop on Organized Threat.

Out of all social media sites, Twitter is my favorite and I utilize it the most. From showing love to my personal friends, to posting my blogs, expressing my opinions, and when I see an opportunity to add my input on someones tweet, I do so. One thing I very rarely do is quote lines from Organized Threat MCs. There have been many times that I've wanted to but I haven't. It's for the simple reason that I do not want to seem like a "dick riding" fan. That's one thing I am afraid of doing and I am in a vulnerable position where almost every Organized Threat member follows me on Twitter. I probably already seem like a Lupe Fiasco one because I go by the name FiascoTheGod. I might as well make it clear now, that I am not saying Lupe Fiasco is a God, I am saying I am Fiasco, and I am a God. As much as I want to live my life not worrying about what people think, when it comes to artists that I like and actually blog for it's completely different. I look up to and support these group of men and women and for them to look at me in a negative light, would just suck. I want to say Poetic Death has stated that he doesn't want any dick riding fans but I would really hate to misquote him in this situation but, I do remember him stating on Twitter that he wants intellectual fans, fans who do their research etc. I bring this up because Saturday night I went out to celebrate my boys birthday and we took a picture (which can be viewed by clicking here) and I threw up the #VII that Poetic Death does in his latest visual The Reign Of VII. Of course I didn't think any of it at the time because I may or may not have been intoxicated but, when I woke up the next morning and saw the picture, I regretted it. Although I would support any other fan doing it, and I really feel Organized Threat fans should start doing it to show support, I felt stupid just because in some shape or form I am associated with Organized Threat because I blog for them. And as I am getting deeper into this venting I realize that it is stupid for me to even worry about that when there are bigger things to worry about but, dammit! Fudge it, I'm going to keep throwing up the #VII. :)

Interview With Endure One

My interview with Endure One is up on StreetKhemistry.com. The objective of the interview was to obtain insight on the tape that the Organized Threat producers have put together entitled Threatstrumentals. The interview is a 5 question interview format and I really enjoyed the answers that Endure One provided. There is also a bonus question at the end to let us know what Endure One has planned for this year. You can check out our interview by clicking here. Remember, Threatstrumentals will be released on February 24th.

CONGRATS TO THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A.

THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. just inked a deal with Music of the Sea! This deal gives him the opportunity for his music to be placed on tv, films, and ads. Congrats bro and make that money flow! You can view a picture of him signing the contract by clicking here.

New Sounds

Faces has just recently uploaded to new sounds to his soundcloud. The first is entitled "C.R.E.A.M.". It starts off very well and I was slowly getting into it but that process sped up at the 39 second mark when the voice samples started to drop. That's when I was really into it. Noticing the title of the track you may know what to expect to hear in the voice samples. Now we transition into a dedication song from Faces to his friend Dustyn, who is no longer with us. I feel this is one of those things you just don't comment on but I thought it was important to let you know that this sound does exist. You can listen to the track entitled "For D-Fro (R.I.P.)" by clicking here.

Rellim has posted a new beat to TrakTrain. It is entitled "Water The Garden" and you can lease it for $25 or exclusively for $100. You can do so by clicking here.

Words With Poe, Six For Sev

Poetic Death is giving out "Free Fades" on the Words With Friends app so add his username "VonPoeVii". He also confirms that he will be releasing a new visual on March 7th. If you don't believe me read his tweet by clicking here.

EmptySev tweeted that he has new verses, "Pumped out around 6 verses today.. feel accomplished as fuck. Time for mini celebration". Although we don't know when these verses come out and even when they do, we won't know that they were the ones being tweeted about in that tweet, it's great to know that EmptySev was able to do something that he feels proud about. I hope he was able to enjoy his mini celebration as well.

Spread Love

Hello, OgT supporters! It's a beautiful, joyous day. Whether or not you celebrate today as a holiday, I hope you all continue to show your love to everyone that you value in life, including yourself. Don't waste the day being negative or bashing others for how they choose to act today. With that said, here's what's been up...

GAVLYN: Gavlyn's tour continues tonight in Stuttgart at the Corso Bar, so be there and show your appreciation! And if you still don't have Modest Confidence, go buy it now... it's better late than never. Follow her on Twitter, too, to keep up with her daily shenanigans.

VIDA KILLZ: Serving as the first installment in her "A Day In The Life" series, Vida posted up the first episode yesteryday. She talks about how she's brought her camera with her everywhere she goes, which results in some behind-the-scenes footage from Poe's "The Reign of VII" video and a little hiking trip that she went on. She also mentions some forthcoming videos and projects that she's working on. WATCH THE VIDEO to find out more.

PAPA J: If you are a fan of Papa J on Facebook, then you saw that he posted a few family oriented photos, like this shot of his parents fresh off the plane from Colombia, a picture from 7th grade, and a very cute picture when he was a toddler in Colombia. Very cool to see a person's earlier life in visuals like that.

JMEGA: Late last year, JMega compiled a collection of 30 songs that he's done throughout the last decade and called it King Of Kingz: The Collection. Earlier this week, on February 9th, he dropped a second volume. Titled Lord of Lordz: The Collection, he pulls another batch of 30 tracks from his vaults and offers them up for the name-your-price fee.

BONNIE BLUE: Today is the day that Bonnie's highly anticipated full-length album dropped. Go stream and download All Things Considered right now! Tonight is her album release party, too. It's an all ages show that begins at 7PM, with a $10 admission. There are performances by Jasson C, Rics Rumble, Nat The Lioness, Jmelen, and several others. Everyone in attendance will receive a free copy of the album. Check the flyer for more information!

YARAH BRAVO: To show her love, your girl Yarah resurrected an older video where she sings and grooves along to a couple of love-inspired songs. WATCH IT HERE. To also celebrate this loving day, she speaks on the One Billion Rising For Justice campaign, which is a global call to women survivors of violence... to break the silence and share their stories. It's a movement that embraces women empowerment and takes the proper action to end violence against women/girls.

FEGGY MIN: Brand new cutsy, candyland-inspired piece from Feggy--this time it's of Korean rapper Trump King (see here). And, remember when I told you that Gavlyn, Feggy, and Sara were filming a video from Modest Confidence? Feggy posted up a little preview shot a few days ago, have a look.

That's all. Keep smiling.
Much love, Tiffology

Conversations W/ POE "So what would you like to do?"

HELLO OGT FANS AND FANATICS, FRIENDS AND FOES !

"So what would you like to do?" Mr. Ern Dogg asked VONPOEVII as we sat beneath the setting sun on the back porch of Soul Assassins Studios this recent cool Sunday afternoon, our energies shuffling across the mosaic table along with the playful breeze. My mouth was on the floor and my ears alert more than ever before, yet not simply due to the circumstance, but by the lesson behind the story Mr. Ern Dogg articulated to introduce the question. He told us a story about opportunities and the importance of not taking them for granted, the significance of a productive balance between confidence and Ego, and about pushing forward responsibly. I was the bystander of exchange between sage and student, which to me is essentially priceless. Usually when I'm witness to networking exchanges or business collabs as such, its as if I'm showing up to a soccer game ready to play with a tennis racket and one of those fancy sweaters. As some of you may know, I grew up singing country music and playing Mandolin in a small minded city; the most conservative-concentrated area in the San Joaquin Valley in fact. So, growing up I was largely sheltered by that stupid geographical circumstance, ignorant to a lot wonderful things I never knew existed. And when I found out how much I was missing out on, variations of knowledge and wisdom I(now of age) was letting slip by me, I was beyond resentful. After understanding that there are just some things in life one can't control, I decided I would do everything that I could with what I could control, and learn everything I could through the resources available to me. Hip-Hop culture being one of those wonderful things I never knew existed; I take a lot from these specific interactions between sage and student. I'm blessed to say its something I'm able to relate to, something that I feel that is larger than myself. And every week I learn something new about myself from these OGT blogs I present to you beautiful freaks and geeks; an opportunity that I was given that has now morphed into a philanthropic responsibility. My point being - do everything you can with the opportunities you are given no matter how large or small, and listen carefully to the wisdom passed down from those who left the footprints you now tread. That being said - keep your three eyes open for something very special from Mr. Ern Dogg and the ORGANIZED THREAT Movement. For now, remind yourselves of how fucking awesome 'THE REIGN OF VII' is. Vibe out and let the HUMP DAY soak in. You're welcome nymphs and nymphettes, you can thank me later.

MEANWHILE - BACK AT THE WESTERN FRONT

The Reign Of VII/FiascoTheGod

This is FiascoTheGod and today I will supply you with the latest scoop of Organized Threat.

I feel that every Monday that comes up surfaces quicker and quicker. I honestly feel like I wrote last weeks blog post just yesterday. I don't know if that's a good thing or not but one thing I have to admit is that it's not that easy to do. Sure my job is to give you the latest news that happened from the second after Friday's OGT Weekly is up to the second that mine is completed on the following Monday. Although this is true I feel that I have a moral responsibility to give you much more. One of those reasons is because I get paid for this. I doubt Poetic Death pays me a certain amount to simply compose a short blog to give you guys the latest news. Sure Organized Threat is a fairly enormous movement and it is close to impossible for a fan to follow every single person so the supplying of news in one blog is important. Another reason I feel I have a duty to provide more than the news is because I have some of my favorite music artists reading what I write! That is pretty dope to me and so I would really feel embarrassed if I just posted the news without expressing my writing ability. To be honest, that's how I felt 2 weeks ago when I composed this OGT Weekly. It was a piece of crap! I barely promoted it on Twitter and Facebook and I didn't send it to any of my friends, which I usually do. Knowing you have to compose a blog every Monday is not that easy though.Writers block does occur and that's what happened on that blog. So the following week I knew I had to put something together that I would feel proud of. That's how last weeks OGT Weekly came about when I utilized the news of CM Punk leaving the WWE to lead into a thought process of what would happen if any Organized Threat members were to leave at this very moment. I received great feedback from Poetic Death, Endure One, and Soulcat. I was hyped to say the very least. That feeling that I obtained last week is what will drive me each and every Monday to compose an even better OGT Weekly. There will be blogs when I provide an introduction and connect current events to Organized Threat and there may be days where my brain is running at top speed and I provide an in depth analysis of news or tracks. With Poetic Death's latest visual "The Reign Of VII" it was the beginning of The Reign Of VII. Consider this OGT Weekly the beginning of The Blogging Reign Of FiascoTheGod.

Endure One & FiascoTheGod

If you guys didn't know I also blog for the website StreetKhemistry.com. We blog about the latest in the Hip hop world. Endure One came to me a few weeks ago to message me via Twitter DM to tell me about the news about "Threatstrumentals", the album that is composed by every single OGT producer. I eventually made that into a blog on SK. Yesterday I messaged him to see if he would be interested in doing an interview with myself for Street Khemistry. He did accept. I designed a 5 question written interview format for SK and that's what I plan on doing for this interview. The questions will focus on the "Threatstrumentals" project and there may be 1 or 2 questions where I ask Endure One about his own music. We will see. So yeah there's some breaking news straight from the source.

Endure One also released a new sound entitled "Loopzilla". The title is there to help prepare you for what to expect. Indeed it is a loop but throughout the entire 1 minute and 58 seconds you are provided with an opportunity to break the loop and create your own thought expedition.

It's Bonnie Blue!

Bonnie Blue linked up with Platform Collection to perform a new song entitled "On The Edge". Platform Collection set out an objective to capture Bonnie Blue at her most vulnerable time. Right after an interview asking her to perform a new song that she has never performed before. And she wasn't prepared for it by the way. "On The Edge" will be on her upcoming album "All Things Considered" being released on February 14.

Tribute To Dilla

THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. has birthed a tribute to J Dilla. He calls it "Conversations Over Donuts". Using voice samples from various people that had nothing to say but good things about J Dilla were integrated into the new instrumental that is produced by THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. Composing an instrumental dedicated to J Dilla would have earned the respect of many but he went a step further. Using the voice samples makes this track much more special.

Vida Killz Everything

Expect a new video from Vida Killz off her "Negative Space" project. She confirms exactly what track it will be with her tweet "VIDEO FOR "CIELO" FROM #NEGATIVESPACE COMING SOON!". You can stream and download "Negative Space" by clicking here.

Vida Killz has also designed a giveaway for 10 special winners. She will be sending "goodies" to the winner. All you have to do is click this link and follow the instructions. Good luck!

Latest On The General

Poetic Death was posted up with musicaljunkies as he posted a pic on his Instagram account. You can view that by clicking here. He doesn't directly state that he directed a new music video for them but I am just going to use my rational mind and take in the fact that Poetic Death is also a director and in the IG pic he states he just wrapped a music video with them, I feel justified in that conclusion. Or it can mean he is featured on one of their tracks. One thing is for certain, the musicaljunkies will be on Poetic Death's "ONLY GODZ RELATE". The general also updated his website so make sure to check out Vonpoevii.com.

Make'em NV

Hey! How are you all doing? I've been extra happy all week because we released our fifth magazine issue on February 4th, and it's been getting a lot of love and positive feedback. The good vibes have made their way into this Friday, too, so let's get into what's new with the camp.

POETIC DEATH: The wait is over. Poe dropped a brand new music video today! For "The Reign of VII," off of his forthcoming album ONLY GODZ RELATE, the song is heavy and serves as a warning shot to competitors and opposing forces. The video received the black-and-white treatment, with color animations of blood splattering, fire, and billowing smoke clouds. Dark, eerie beat by Ruman. Salute to the general! WATCH THE VIDEO!

Then, for a video series called Platform Collection hosted by the same people at Crappy Awesome, Poetic Death linked up with Mr.Arash to speak some more about Organized Threat and being an entrepreneur. WATCH IT HERE!

RICS RUMBLE: Rics also connected with Platform Collection for an on-the-spot PROSE performance of a song called "Killa Block". WATCH IT HERE!

GAVLYN: Gav is still on her trek through Europe, performing in various cities and promoting her latest album. In between touring, she has been hanging out with our favorite OgT artist Feggy Min! They have posted a couple of photos of them in all black-and-white attire (this one and this one). We also got word that they're shooting a video together for Modest Confidence (a picture on the set). YEP! Look out for that.

VIDA KILLZ: Filmed in her car, Vida dropped a new installment in her spoken word series. It features a piece that she wrote while in San Jose, called "Galaxies I've Counted". In the video, she also briefly mentions her upcoming LP, titled Daydreams and Nightmares. Also, a little random fact: "My present album releases: 21 EPs & 3 LPs. I started writing when I was 13, and released my first LP when I was 19. More soon. meooow. " Get up on some of those projects through her Bandcamp, and Soundcloud.

BONNIE BLUE: Remember that music video that I posted of Bonnie's "Bonnie Blue" track? Welp, you can now download the single from Bandcamp for $1. Look out for her anticipated album All Things Considered on February 14th! Also, presented by Razor and Basement 818, don't forget to hit up her album release party that night! You can find the flyer on Facebook.

YARAH BRAVO: If you didn't know, today is J Dilla's birthday (may he rest in Paradise). As a tribute to one of the most innovative and influential hip hop producers, Yarah Bravo has recorded a brand new song today that celebrates his life and infinite love. Over his "Flowers" beat, watch Yarah kick some beautiful rhymes.

------------------------

I'm gonna end it there. Hope you all have a great weekend!
Spread love and live life to the fullest.
Keep pushin' forward.

After having this cassette in its original plastic since 2008,
I unwrapped it today and popped it in.
Turn it up... a little louder!
XOXO, Tiffology

HUMPDAY

HELLO OGT FANS AND FANATICS, FRIENDS AND FOES !

This week, Organized Threat producers THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A, JOOGY JUGG, H.V., RUMAN, KWERVO, RELLIM, JG, FACES, and ENDURE ONE announced that they will be releasing a collaborative effort titled 'THREATSTRAMENTALS'. Previously mentioned by FIASCO THE GOD, Little information is known other than the project is set to be released at the end of February. Although, when it comes to artists who dedicate themselves to their music such as the OGT producers, its logical to imagine that their work will be of the utmost quality. Now the shape that it will form, complementary in one unified entity, is something new and fresh altogether. 'Threatstrumentals' is definitely something to be anxious about and excited for, another weapon added to OGT's arsenal. Its a new year, and there's a whole new game to be played. I'd like to take a moment to salute the OGT producers, because there's a great deal of effort behind creating high quality, blowing-people-out-of-their-mind instrumentals. And not only I, but I'm sure many of you too, nymphs and nymphettes, have been memorized by the beats that these Generals create. Curious as to how it's done, like others I went to Youtube for answers, watching this tutorial and that tutorial, downloading different programs and fooling around a bit, and eventually I as able to create something that was intelligible to the human brain, that even sounded kinda pretty. But to design anything comparable to what one hears behind VONPOEVII'S vocals or say PAPAJ RUIZ'S vocals, that takes skill. My point being; the work may be beautiful, but its hardly easy. Whether it be the time spent sorting through plethoras and plethoras of sounds, figuring out which sounds go together and which do not, or the patience lost mastering the program so that one can manipulates sounds; the value of this work is priceless and deserves acknowledgement. Needless to say, I am more than ready to see what they are able to come up with because its 2014, anything can happen you freaks. Anywhoo, if you haven't been able to check out the album work for the project, I recommend you do that below and follow the little tweety for the latest information on 'Threatstrumentals'.

#BREAKINGNEWS: JASSON C just released some new vocals titled 'Grindin Till I Get It'. One word, FIRE. If you haven't listened to it yet, (because I know you will) peep it below and support ya OGT member, like and share or else be square fellas and fellattes.
Also this week, miss VIDA KILLZ dropped the 'Phantom Loose Leaves' EP which is, without a doubt, a beautiful piece of work. Peep the project below, and be sure to download! Support ya OGT artist, and follow and share the little tweety below for more information on VIDA KILLZ and what consists of her daily life.
#VII Freaks and Geeks, be looking out for some new visuals from the general himself VONPOEVII, T-minus two days and counting. A little birdy tells me that the beat used within the video will be music produced by RUMAN, and by the sound of it, it seems to me that VONPOEVII is beside himself with excitement about this one. Peep the little tweety below to join the conversation and follow the latest updates from VONPOEVII and RUMAN
#N0R3COLL3CTION Shirts are now up for sale, announced recently by PAPAJ RUIZ. If you haven't copped your own yet, you can do so by following the little tweety below. Priced at ONLY $23, who can refuse? Gets yours before they're all gone! Support ya OGT fam <----- font="" nbsp="">
Lastly, glad to see that THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A out there grindin, getting his work on naw mean?

Untitled 2/3/2014

This is FiascoTheGod and I am here to supply you with the latest news from the Organized Threat camp.

For those of you who currently follow the WWE you are most likely aware of the rumor that CM Punk is no longer with the company. CM Punk over the past few years has become a very important talent for the WWE as the fans love him whether he is a heel (a bad guy) or a face (a good guy). To get straight to the point, a very important superstar is no longer with the WWE, the biggest wrestling company in the world. This recent story has me pondering the thought, what if a current member of Organized Threat decided to leave? I have kept up with Organized Threat for the past year and I have noticed at least two people have separated from the camp. Maybe there has been more. Names are not important in this case. With the two losses that I am aware of, they didn't seem to disrupt the entire Organized Threat movement. But, each day I truly believe that the fan base or at least the awareness of Organized Threat is growing. Although this may be true, I do not feel that losing anyone from the Organized Threat movement would be a major loss at this point. The only person that will disrupt the Organized Threat movement is the general himself, Poetic Death. What am I trying to say? I honestly have no idea but it sounded really good when I thought of it last night. The main reason for me to compare the WWE's loss of CM Punk to Organized Threat is to simply think about what would happen if anyone from the current Organized Threat roster left. I am a thinking guy and when I thought about it I didn't think that any OGT loss besides the general himself would hurt them. They have a huge roster of talent from 13 MC's, 9 producers, 3 DJs, and 2 artists. I don't know how every OGT fan feels but personally I do not feel connected with everyone on the roster yet. It may take me another year or so to fully understand and appreciate each individual talent. One loss along the way of my journey won't alter my entire thought of Organized Threat. When CM Punk left the WWE my thought about the company and CM Punk as a person was altered. I thought WWE was really stupid for not catering to the needs of CM Punk because he is one of their top guys. On the other hand I thought it was unprofessional of CM Punk to quit without any notice, giving the creative team less than 24 hours to fix the script of their live show.  Also, because Organized Threat is not yet as worldwide as the WWE, the subtraction and addition of members is not known to the current fan base to be a big deal. Because of this, the current members of Organized Threat should realize that they will soon hold a big responsibility when their "WWE" time comes. I previously stated the numbers of the Organized Threat roster so lets move on to their latest cypher with 6 MCs, 1 producer, and 1 DJ....

Child's Play

Yesterday the camp released a cypher video and entitled it "Child's Play". Hosted by DJ Starchild and produced by THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A., verses include Rics Rumble, Jasson C, Poetic Death, Razor, JMega The God, and Papa J. Ruiz. Every MC did their thing and proved why they are a part of Organized Threat. THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. has mentioned to me before that he used to rap and when he stepped up to the plate at the end of the video I thought he was about to deliver some serious bars! He fooled us! If you guys want to hear THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. spit a verse, tweet him at @JustinMuzack with the hashtag, #WeWantAVerseFromTHAFORMULA.

Three Beats, One FORMULA

Organized Threat producer THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. has stated via Twitter that he will soon release 3 new beats for our listening pleasure. He tweeted, "Got 3 new beats dropping soon!". With no specific date, just be on your toes and constantly check his Twitter to see if anything has been released.

Much more coming from THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. due to his recent release entitled "Heart Beat". This new sound captures its listeners into a calm environment. With the combination of the track title, artwork, and sound, I can't help but picture myself slowly free falling into a crazy mixture of vibrant colors. You can view the artwork and listen to "Heart Beat" by clicking here.

THA 7th

It seems that Poetic Death is keeping the strategy and promise to himself and to his fans that he will be releasing a music video every 7th of the month. He recently sent out a tweet stating, "#REALQUICK: I have some new visuals coming soon folks! Until then, enjoy the current visuals. #VII #ORGANIZEDTHREAT". That tweet also includes his latest music video that he released on January 7th entitled "THE VILLAIN". The instrumental to that track is from 50 Cent's "This Is Murder Not Music" produced by The Audible Doctor. The question for this upcoming video is if his poetry will be delivered over a new instrumental. Although he does not specify a date, be ready for a music video on February 7th.

Random Organized Threat Tweet

Today's random Organized Threat tweet goes to Gavlyn! It may be difficult to believe but Gavlyn has never let one loose until recently. And by "letting one loose" I am talking about farts. Gavlyn confirms that she is a human by finally farting! Gavlyn tweeted, "I have never farted in my life till like 5 minutes ago Woah". Well Gavlyn, thank you for sharing and I wish nothing but healthy farts from here on out!

That's All Folks

I hope you enjoyed my awkward and unorganized paragraph of mentioning CM Punk leaving the WWE and leading that into a discussion of how Organized Threat would be if they currently lost one of their members. Most importantly we received a new Organized Threat cypher and a new sound from THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. And in case you missed that over this past weekend, consider me, FiascoTheGod, your savior.
