Never dumb it down

PAPA J: Tonight, Papa J had a show at The Roxy Theatre in Denver, and Poe was in the building to support. Were you? If you were there and if you took pictures of the performance, make sure you post them up and tag Papa J! Also, yesterday he dropped a brand new music video. From his 55 EP, watch the video for the outro track "Emergency 55," where you'll find him spitting razor-sharp, raw raps about staying true, loyalty, and not dumbing down his lyrics for anyone. Cameos by Poe and Joogy Jugg. If you still haven't downloaded the EP, GO DO THAT NOW. Watch the video in the mini player below, or click this link to watch it in HD.

RICS RUMBLE: There is a massive two-day festival this weekend called 626FEST (buy your tickets here) that you should know about. Over 80 indepedent music artists--veterans and local talent--will bless the stages over the course of Saturday and Sunday. And, guess what? You'll find Rics Rumble performing on Sunday (June 29th), so make sure you hit up that event! Get more information on this Facebook event page.

VIDA KILLZ: If you didn't know this before, earlier this year Vida Killz created the Absit Omen collective, which is aimed at inspiring others and cultivating community through art. With that, she is currently working on a book based around experiences of being a human (announcement here). If you have any interest in this book and receiving updates, go ahead and sign up on her mailing list. Regarding the project, she said, "My idea for this book is to share experiences and wisdom of being a human being. If you are interested in this, please take a moment to sign up for the mailing list below. (I know, more emails :p). I will be sending out the first email regarding this project in the next few weeks. Also, if you know anyone who might be interested in this, feel free to share this with them. Lastly, there are only 10 slots left for this first book. Sign up now."

DEVOUR: Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeey! Would you look at that... Devour is here in my hot state of Arizona this weekend! I didn't know that until just now, so if any of you are AZ residents, make sure you hit up this meet & greet pop-up shop. On SATURDAY, he will be in Tempe (1948 E. University Dr., Tempe, AZ 85281) from 2pm-6pm (flyer). It's a free event, and all ages, so if you have nothing else going on... go say what's up!

GAVLYN: If you don't follow Gavlyn on Twitter, you should probably go do that right here. She updates there a lot more frequently than anywhere else. For example, she recently posted a behind-the-scenes picture from a shoot she did, saying "Photo shoots are funs". Her hair is two-toned now (black/dark brown with chunks of orange-blonde), too!

YARAH BRAVO: Yarah recently did a photoshoot with Gutta Soles, where she posed with a bunch of their shoes (have a look). While you wait for the customized Yarah Bravo rolling papers, stickers, and even canvases, go ahead and pick up the Love Is The Movement album on vinyl or CD from HHV.DE (or straight from Bandcamp)! And, although it's over 3 weeks away, she announced a show on July 19th at Club GRETCHEN in Berlin, where she will be on the 90s Hip Hop Floor (Check the event).

I like my milk dead milky

Hello, everyone. Due to feeling really crummy all of yesterday and last night, I didn't have the energy to write my OgTWeekly Friday post. Instead, I wrote it today. Saturday is just as good. You WILL tolerate it *waves Jedi hand.

POETIC DEATH: Not too much is new is going on in Poe's neck of the woods, so instead maybe you should catch up on some of his latest music videos. For example, the "Paradox" video is 900+ views away from reaching 10,000! If you haven't, or even if you have, go ahead and watch that! Share it with your friends on your social networks, too, if you're digging it.

While we're on the video tip, you might as well watch these again: "The Reign of VII", "Bishop's Revenge", "Coffin", and "Ready to Die".

VIDA KILLZ: I know it's been mentioned before, but Vida recently confirmed that there will be another DeathKillz album. Commence excitement! For awhile now, I've been hoping that Poe and Vida would do another album together, and that wish was granted. You see, I was originally introduced to the music of those two (as a duo, and individually), back in 2011 when I saw the music video for "Chapter One". After hearing a couple more songs, I became a fan of their work together, as solo artists, and in turn became a supporter of Organized Threat. That continued support has lead me to the path of becoming friends with Poe (though he might be on the fence with that due to our recent discussion of Linkin Park), and as a writer here on OgTWeekly. :) So, let me go ahead and post the links to the videos from their debut EP (since the EP seemed to have disappeared from the face of the internet), just in case you didn't know of them back then or want to refresh your memory. "Chapter One", "Chapter Two", "Chapter Four", and "Chapter Six".

GAVLYN: If you like seeing and hearing from Gavlyn (why wouldn't you?!), she is going to do vlogs once a month (starting next week). "I'm pretty excited to let y'all into my personal life and new music and stuffs woohoo! #vlogin #reallife #imstupid #ineedanothercoffee," she said on Facebook. Look out for that!

YARAH BRAVO: On June 19th, Yarah's Love is the Movement album was #9 on the hip hop charts at HHV.DE, and today it's #6. YOU GO, GIRL! Also, on top of having rolling papers with her album art on them, she also had stickers made! Look at how beautiful they are! No news as to how to get your hands on those babies yet, but stay tuned to her Facebook for information.

As for some new aural pleasure, she did a remix of her album single "Leader". Giving it some ultra funky, afro beat heat, listen to "DEAD MILKY LEADER"! Explaining the title, Yarah said, "The title "Dead Milky" came from a english film based in newcastle where they like their tea - dead milky - ie very milky. Explaing that it was the working class choice of tea drinking, now u know ....Dead Milky Remix." Iván Mushikko on the outro and DJ Vadim on the production. It's so good, and fun to move to. STREAM NOW!

FEGGY MIN: A few days ago, Feggy shared a personal story where she reflected on the past and her earlier years of art making. It's a great dust-yourself-off-and-try-again, inspirational story about the good that can come with persistence, having self-confidence, knowing your worth, and chasing your dreams despite people telling you "no". She talked about getting rejected from an art school, dealing with being told she wasn't good enough, losing motivation to stay in another art school that she did get accepted to, struggling with trying to figure out what she wanted to pursue, and, ultimately, she talked about never giving up on her passions and dreams. As a way to end this post, I wanted to share a part of what she said, but you should read it all here when you can.

"I didn't know how or when... but I just knew it. I ignored everyone trying to tell me that I will end up nowhere like that and that I will probably have to apply to a school at the end anyway to make it and I shouldn't be dreaming too much.

But once you learn to listen to your inner voice and take risks and just move on, go after your bliss... the doors to the right path start to open one by one. The only rule is to "never never never NEVER give up" ! You never know what is waiting for you just around the corner.

It's not just our knowledge that make is good in what we do but how much passion and love we have for it. There isn't only one way to go after your dreams, there are unlimited ways. If there is an opportunity, go and grab it. Knock on the doors, try to break that door, or get in through the window but GET THERE!
"

Can we all just have one big Super Soaker, water balloon fight this summer?
It's hot as hell here.
Enjoy your weekend!

06/06

POETIC DEATH: If you donated money in Poe's IndieGoGo campaign to help him press up physical copies of ONLY GODZ RELATE, you can get ready for one of those to show up at your doorstep in the near future. Speaking of the near future... this Sunday, he will be dropping the music video that he filmed with The Buttress when he was out in the East Coast (damn, talk about being productive!). The video for "Cowboy Bebop" should be on its way during the middle of the month, too. He also commented: "Like I said, I have a collab video with The Buttress dropping real soon. After that I'm going to end this month's selection of music videos with "FEAR" off the #ONLYGODZRELATE project. Gonna drop visuals for that joint the last week of June." And if you slept on the newly released music video for "Bishop's Revenge," go watch that as soon as you can (I put the mini player below, too, for your viewing convenience).

PAPA J: Papa J took part in an interview with the the folks at Salty Soundz Radio based in Halle, Germany (starts around 12 minutes). They touch base on his time spent in Germany, his musical work, and his newest EP 55. LISTEN HERE.

GAVLYN: A brand new interview with Gavlyn can be found at MTV UK. In the "MTV Meets... Gavlyn" feature, you'll find exclusive photos, discussion about style transition in her music, being a woman in hip hop, her thoughts on internet beef, and some choice music suggestions. GO READ HERE.

JASSON C: As it turns out, Jasson C didn't drop his #LAProject on the 5th. "When it's done, it's done," he said. He also noted that the project is "actually uber political, but you won't hear the politics until the 2nd or 3rd time listening. 1st time you'll just like it." While you wait for that to drop, though, you might want to pay attention to his Soundcloud page for any new material.

JMEGA: A few days ago, JMega dropped some new visuals from his True Masterz group, for the song "Farrakhan Rap". Be sure to check that out here or watch it in the mini player below. So much heat!

FEGGY MIN: Feggy has been a little worker bee, pushing out a bunch of new art. Check out her most recent pieces of Giriboy, CMYLMZ, Zion T, and some illustrations for Stylenanda (a fashion site). She is planning on doing a part two of the original Korean Hip Hop piece that she did awhile back, and she is asking for your suggestions on who should be included in the second version. Also, a couple more photos have surfaced from the Imeline photoshoot that she and Sara did together. Here is a stunning photo of the two, holding hands in cute dresses with blonde hair, and here is a gorgeous solo shot of Feggy! Last but not least, go ahead and wander on over to her online shop, because she updated and restocked a lot of items... with new stuff in the "Special Items" and "Prints" sections.

SARA FLEUR: Guess what!!! Sara is in the beginning stages of a full back tattoo. Last week, she got the linework done for an entire Feggy Min art piece, logo included. That's some real love and friendship there, guys. Take a look! Wow, I'm excited to see the final piece, once it has been colored. And, here is a solo shot of Sara, shot by Imeline.

----------------------

This has been a busy week for music videos, so if you've missed any,
don't hesitate browse the blog or go straight to the OgT Facebook for those and more.
Side note: The official OgT website is currently going through some changes and updates,
so bear with that transition (and also look out for when it's done).

Hope the weather has been/is still good wherever you are, because over here in Glendale, Arizona,
it's been anywhere between 104°-113° in the last two weeks.
Woooooo, perfect weather for pool time, though!
Haha, anyway... have a good night!

Check the Threat

THREAT TRAVELS: Let me start off by saying that Poe, Papa J, and Joogy Jugg flew out to New York earlier this week to wander the city, meet some people, visit some notable spots, and film music videos (3 music videos in 3 days). Our fellow OGTweekly contributor Aster went along, too, and the whole group eventually linked up with the other contributor FiascoTheGod. Click here to see a group photo.

POETIC DEATH: While filming videos in the city, Poe has been posting some photos on Instagram. There is a brief video from the first night, doing their first slumber party in New York (HERE). There's one of him and Saeed Sha chilling in front of 1520 Sedgwick Avenue in the South Bronx (HERE). A shot of the "the team" working hard (HERE). Also, after recent talk of there being a Poetic Death x The Buttress collaboration, Poe met up with her in New Jersey to bang out that track, and will soon be shooting a video (picture here).

GAVLYN: On Saturday, Gavlyn will be rocking a set at the Sweet Baby Fest, at the Bootleg Theater. It starts at 8:30pm and goes through until 2am, and it's a 21+ event, so be there or be square. It's a non-profit event that will celebrate DJ SweetBabyRay's birthday, and all proceeds will go to the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation in his name to support key cornerstone programs benefiting children and families throughout the greater Los Angeles region. You can see the flyer or check the Facebook event for extra information.

She also announced a Latino America tour that will take place in November. She is still looking to get booked out that way, so if you want to hit her up (or know someone who can help her out), you can find her contact information right here. Other than that, get ready!

PAPA J: Since releasing a 5-track EP, titled 55ep, Papa J brought you some new merch to grab. On May 26th, he dropped a limited edition "iii" beanie, which quickly sold out. While that's not available anymore (I'm sure there will be follow-up editions), you can still get your hands on some "iii" stickers.

Of course, while in NYC, he's been posting up a few pictures, too. Here's one at Madison Square Garden, one at Quad Studios in the elevator Tupac was shot in, and a good ol' group shot. Lastly, while you wait for his new album, make sure you stream and download his latest EP, where he rapped over other's production to remind you of the lyrical heat he possesses.

RAZOR: If you're a fan of Razor, if you find yourself saying "Fuck Cancer," and/or if you want to give your money to a good cause in return for some dope performances... you should hit up the Rappers Vs Cancer show tomorrow at 10855 White St, Sun Valley, California 91352. All funds will go towards someone named Raul Sotello, who I assume is fighting the fight (or is related to someone that is). There will be performances from Razor, DJ Starchild, and others. You can check out the flyer on his instagram. If you have any questions, I'm sure you can hit up Razor on Twitter at some point between then and now.

YARAH BRAVO: Yarah Bravo has been making her mark all over and seems to be having the best time (proof is in all the pictures she shares on Facebook). In fact, she did a show tonight at the Hot Jazz Club in Munster, alongside German producer duo Carpet Patrol (Suff Daddy and Torky Tork--so dope). That's three dope musicians in one place, playing music that I love... oh how it'd be a pleasure to be there. I imagine pictures will be posted in the coming days. Speaking of performances, check out this beautiful set of photos from a performance she did in Berlin.

Also, if you bought her album on vinyl, or CD even, make sure you send them Yarah's way. She wants to see you all showing support, and she will likely post them on Facebook (example 1 and example 2). Yarah's Love Is The Movement release show is approaching, too, on June 10th at the new YAAM (Facebook event for more info).

FEGGY MIN: Over the past few days, we've been seeing a lot of sneak peeks from a photo shoot that Feggy Min and Sara Fleur have done to showcase some new Feggy Min Clothing. HERE, you can see Feggy Min rocking some black "89" leggings and the "Balance" longsleeve shirt she once posted. HERE, you can see her wearing the "King YLLW" longsleeve shirt. Lastly, HERE is a photo where she's wearing a pink and white flower dress.

And on that note, here is that finished Pharrell piece, called GOOD DAY - HAPPY DRINK. It's so awesomely detailed with all sorts of throwback cartoons (Mario, Smurfs, Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, and more), yummy sweets, rainbows, and chaotic fun.

SARA FLEUR: From that same shoot with Feggy, HERE is one of the Sara and Feggy wearing black tops, black and white striped pants, and black Creepers. HERE's another one of just Sara in pretty pastel colors.

CRAYONBEATS: Today, we released our sixth magazine issue. Without getting into too much detail (you can read about it here), I just wanted to let you all know that I did feature Poetic Death and Yarah Bravo inside. To go into a spread called "What Are Their Top 8 Songs Right Now," I asked Poe to share and talk about his favorite songs. So if you're interested in what he's been bumping a lot lately, go check that out. I featured Yarah Bravo's Love Is The Movement album in my "Did You Hear That" spread, where I wrote about 6 albums that I think people should give a listen to. Go read or download the issue for free HERE.

That's it, friends!
Thanks for reading.
Have a good night, and an even better weekend.

Papa J. Ruiz Takes Over And More About Organized Threat

I am FiascoTheGod and I am here to supply you with a lot of news in today's OGT Weekly.

Papa J. Ruiz Takeover

Without a doubt the buzz was around Papa J. Ruiz this weekend and he delivered in A+ fashion. Not only did he own this weekend but he birthed two things that will allow this weekend buzz to follow him for the rest of the year and beyond. First we are presented with a new mixtape by the Colorado MC and he calls it 55. It contains 5 tracks of Papa J. Ruiz spitting over production by Justice League, J. Cole, DJ Premier, The Hitmen, and Riddle. Before you head over to check out the EP, click here to view the trailer to prepare you for what you are about to experience. Just as the trailer does, you will hear inspirational and wise quotes from other hip hop figures and during your listening journey you will hear Papa J. Ruiz create his own. You can also show your support by purchasing an "iii" beanie which comes with an immediate download of 55. As of right now there is only one left so click here to pick up the last one!

"Kick me when I'm down / Tupac, homie still I rise" - Papa J. Ruiz, Song: Regardless Of The Outcome

So far "Regardless Of The Outcome" is my favorite track off the EP. This is due to Papa J. Ruiz's signature raw delivery and what he is spitting about in the song. It's the pure reality of "the struggle". It's real, it's alive, and he is able to deliver a quality song about it.

Papa J. Ruiz continues with good news with his announcement of his next upcoming album. It will be released late this year or early next year and it is entitled HR-1955. You can click here to view the official tweet.

Latest With Von Poe VII

Von Poe VII has openly discussed with The Buttress on Twitter about their collaboration. This discussion begins with The Buttress tweeting Von Poe VII that she has sent him her verse. That tweet can be viewed here and that also leads to the rest of their conversation that shows Von Poe VII's reaction to what he has received.

Please continue to support Von Poe VII's IndieGoGo campaign by contributing to the funds for the production of hard copies of ONLY GODZ RELATE. There are tantalizing perks such as reserving an actual hard copy to receiving multiple merchandise and even a shout out on the album.

Rics Rumble's T-Shirt Collaboration

You can now read a quote from one of your favorite Organized Threat MCs on a T-Shirt! Rics Rumble teamed up with dvious in order to blend together and manifest a T-Shirt. The quote by Rics Rumble reads "Weird's the new normal. If you're normal, you're weird". Click here to purchase the T-Shirt.

Upcoming Appearances

Gavlyn will be performing at The Bootleg Theater on May 31st. You can view the official flyer on Twitter to read more about it by clicking here.

On June 8th Devour will be doing a meet & greet pop-up shop in Covina, California from 2-5:30 pm. Click here to view the official flyer.

Support The Threat

That's the Organized Threat news for you! I know it's a lot to handle. You were given new music, an update on news, new merchandise, and were made aware of upcoming appearances. Can you really ask for more? Well of course you can but that would be real greedy of you! Organized Threat continues to grind and show their passion for what they do. You can sense their passion in their music and on how they go about their business. You can show your support by spreading the word. Show a friend this blog and have them get the latest news. It's never to late to support the threat. You can now consider me, FiascoTheGod your savior.

YADRUTAS

S-A-TUR-D-A-Y... NIGHT! Hey, everyone. I know I am supposed to write on Fridays, but due to the emotional and tragic week I've had (having to put down my dog of 12 years this past Wednesday), I had to push it back to today--Saturday. Today wasn't bad, though. In fact, despite the hot weather (100° here in AZ), I barbecued at my house. Grilled food, beer, and family is all right with me. Oh yeah, on Friday, I also got my first tattoo, and it was to commemorate the life of my dog (I got a dog paw print + "Bear" [his name] in Kanji). Anywaaaaay, onto the updates!

POETIC DEATH: To everyone who loves seeing visuals to their favorite songs, Poe vowed to put out at least 15 new music videos by December, and that'll be for both VON POE VII and ONLY GODZ RELATE. Tell me you're not stoked for that! That said, like I mentioned before, the video for "Paradox" is just around the corner, so be on the look out for that. His latest update on the matter: "In Vegas with the homies Rellim and Alex finishing up this video and let me tell you what, this joint is about to be dope as fuck lol. I mean this on so many levels, standby. - VII"

BY THE WAY: If you didn't know or have forgot to show your support by donating money into Poe's IndieGoGo campaign to create/push out ONLY GODZ RELATE CDs, then make sure you get involved now. This is your way to pre-order! It ends in less than 2 weeks, on May 30th, so be sure to look over the perks to see what you'd like to select!

GAVLYN: Gavlyn recently announced that she will be shooting a music video for the song "Vive En Mi," by the Neckbreakerz. If you haven't heard it, go listen to it on Soundcloud. She was also featured in French-based Piege De Freestyle, alongside other rappers, where she dropped a couple of politically-powered bars for their 36th episode (check it).

VIDA KILLZ: Earlier today, Vida dropped a free 4-track EP called Lady Death: Collection I. Talking about the project and the meaning behind the title, she said, "I've been writing about Lady Death for a few years now. She started out as a scapegoat for various muses, and turned into an understanding of profound lessons the universe was gifting me through these muses. I've grown a lot spiritually through my gift of writing as it has pushed me to dig deeper internally. Lady Death is an archetype that has a beautiful story behind her. I first read of her in the book, "Women Who Run With Wolves." She deeply resonated with my soul due to her understanding of life/death/life. All comes back unto the beginning. Keep your heart open and head lifted. Do the work that your soul desires. Peace." STREAM AND DOWNLOAD IT NOW: RIGHT HERE

YARAH BRAVO: Yarah B. has been up to a lot of good things since the last time I wrote. First off, after listening to her amazing Love Is The Movement EP, have you sealed the deal on a hardcopy of it?! Digital albums are good and all, but nothing beats a tangible album--whether CD or vinyl. Make sure you grab yours, because a batch of them are already flying out the window to eager listeners all over the world! With her new album out, she has already made her way through three countries in three days, promoting good music, spreading love, and creating unity (see this picture). Still amongst her trip are her shows: May 21st in Prague, Czech Republic; May 30th in Munster, Germany; and her album release party will be held in Berlin on June 10th (location to be announced).

FEGGY MIN: Your girl Feggy has a few new pieces, such as Schoolboy Q, Mademoiselle Yulia, and A$AP Rocky. She has added several new fan pics into her "TEAMFEGGYMIN" album on Facebook. Remember, if you're a fan, make sure you follow her few guidelines and send yours in! Lastly, for good measure, here are some new photos of the blonde beauty :) >> ONE and TWO.

--------------------------

That's about it. Stay tuned until next time.

Let me also say: Show and give love those that you care about, whether they're people or pets,
because tomorrow isn't promised (as cliche as that sounds). :D
Have an excellent weekend!

Love Is The Movement

POETIC DEATH: Poe will be dropping a new music video this coming Sunday, and it's for his song "Paradox" off of his VONPOEVII album, released in 2013. That song in particular was produced by fellow OGT producer, Rellim (peep a photo of Poe and Rellim hanging out HERE). One more thing--Poe is very active on Twitter, so make sure you follow him there.

GAVLYN: After all the talk and sneak peek photos of Gav hanging out with Snoop Dog on GGN, the video has officially dropped. She kicks it with Snoop while he asks her a slew of questions, such as her influences, traveling the world with her music, how it feels to be ranked #1 on his Underground Heat show, upcoming projects, and much more. He even asks her "favorites" (drink, albums, song, etc) and to finish some sentences with answers that suit her. They kick some raps, smoke it up, get silly, and have fun, too. It was a really good, enjoyable show. It's almost 15 minutes in length, so check it out when you have some time, via the mini player below. Otherwise, click this link right here and watch it later and/or in a larger player in HD. (Side note: She has 5 more shows out in France!)

JMEGA: JMega recently announced that he is working on a handful of new projects. This includes a new True Masters album, an album with CDS of the Shogunz, and a solo project!

RICS RUMBLE: Earlier today, Rics dropped a new track called "WTF'S A HOOK," in collaboration with Gremlin and Hands. Over a head-nodding, dusty boom bap cut, they spit some solid raps that showcase what an emcee is capable of while posing the question: "what the fuck's a hook, when cats like me can rap like this?" Stream it on Soundcloud now, because it's real dope!

YARAH BRAVO: Since the release of her Love Is The Movement album, Yarah B. has been exploding with much love, joy, and appreciation. She posted some behind-the-scenes shots from her Carousel shoot. It's such a beautiful, chilling song, so listen here. Listen to the rest of the album and support this amazing woman, too. If you're buying the vinyl or CD packages, which comes with a poster, check out the artwork here and here (Yarah looks all cute, peeking above her own record).

She recently did an 8-minute video interview with BOKbialystok, where she speaks about women being in the forefront in hip hop, leaving her home in Sweden to be in London, being an independent artist, what it means to be a "hip hop bgirl nomadic", having a positive energy, finding your true calling, and other insightful, honest information. Such a great interview that will help you get to know her on a more personal level. Watch the interview in the mini player below, or click this link to watch it on Youtube.

Yarah will also be performing in the Czech Republic on May 16th (in Jihlava at Soul Club) and on May 21st (in Prague at Cross Club). Czech this little video that she did where she briefly speaks about it.

FEGGY MIN: Feggy has been up to a lot in the last week. She has a brand new long-sleeve shirt up in her shop, called "KING YLLW" (purchase here + there's a photo of her rocking it). She chose 4 winners in her most recent giveaway--find the names here. She has also started a new "TEAMFEGGYMIN" project, where she is recruiting all of her fans to take part in writing "TeamFeggy Min" + their country + their name on paper (or whatever material they choose), and then send it to her email at: feggymin@gmx.ch -- Feggy says, "#TEAMFEGGYMIN is to show that no matter where we all come from, how we look like, what our background is, no matter how different we seem to be, we can all come together to share happiness and joy!! And it's also a nice way to connect to all my lovely supporters and put you all on this page and become one big family all around the world!!! " She also says that you can take it with or without your face, depending on your personal preference. So, with that said, go grab some paper, some writing utensils, and get to it!

SARA FLEUR: Sara has officially reached over 10,000 fans on Facebook, and thanked you all for your support--assuming you are also one of those fans! Look out for new projects from this girl right here soon!

------------------------------
That wraps it up for Friday.

As you all may know, this weekend is Mother's Day.
I hope all you/your moms have a blessed weekend. :)
Spread love, be thankful you're here, and hug a mom!
Good night.
XOXO, Tiffology

Friday, May 2, 2014

Hey, it's May!

Let me just say... holy moly, it's May! I swear, it was just the beginning of 2014, and now we are almost halfway through the year. I say this all the time, and it's a common expression amongst adults, but the perception of time seems to go by much faster as you get older. I turned 28 years old this year, and I was recently reminded that my 10-year high school reunion is this year. Whoa, already? Crazy. There's a lot going on this month, too. We have May The Fourth this Sunday (yes, I'm a Star Wars fan), Mother's Day on the 11th, Memorial Day, and just a boatload of other things happening behind the scenes for me. I'm excited, though. Anyway, happy first Friday of the month to you all. Let's get into this.

POETIC DEATH: Since releasing ONLY GODZ RELATE album nearly 3 weeks ago, Poe gave his previous album a little bit of a villain facelift. He remastered the whole album, rearranged the tracklist, added some new songs, and even added some old songs that weren't previously there to spruce it up. So, while you are still bumping the fuck out of his latest album, go ahead and make your way over to the VONPOEVII album Bandcamp page to stream and download it all over again.

While the final installment in The Villainz Trilogy won't be releasing until 2016, Poe does promise to push out a lot of music videos from both projects out right now. That said, a brand new video will be dropping next Sunday, so look out for that!

GAVLYN: Your girl Gavlyn is officially on her France tour, and her first show kicked off tonight at the Transbordeur in Lyon. She will be making her way through France until May 18th, so if you're in any of the cities listed right here, make sure you are in attendence!

YARAH BRAVO: I am so thrilled that we were (finally) blessed with a new Yarah Bravo album. On April 30th, she released her 9-track Love Is The Movement album! A proper album review will be coming up soon, so I'll let you know when that time comes (probably next Friday). It is available in digital, CD, and vinyl formats, so click that mouse on her Bandcamp page to make your purchase. Also available on iTunes and HHV.

VIDA KILLZ: As Fiasco previously mentioned, Vida has been dropping some sneak previews from her forthcoming LP, Daydreams and Nightmares. You can stream "Lady Death Pt. IV", a snippet of "Remember", and the "Outro". Vida's latest update on the album: "Just got rid of 3 tracks from this album that aren't up to par. More writing soon. I intend for Daydreams and Nightmares to send you on a roller coaster that weaves you into a beautiful butterfly from whatever creature you normally are--each time you listen to it. Much love."

She is also doing something unique: She is trying to connect with her friends and fans alike by mail. Showing your love/appreciation through emails, comments, messages, and other digital means is cool and all, but why not bond with Vida through the lost art of writing a letter? What about sending post cards where you're from, with something special written on the back? Or perhaps sharing photos, or art, or whatever you want with her? Yes! With an open mail box, she says, "Send me letters, poems, books, ideas, beauty, things that inspire you, things that destroy you. Send me pictures, paintings, etc etc etc. I'll respond, swear. Let's build connectivity." Find her PO Box address HERE. She also shared the link to her actual Facebook profile, so if you're trying to be on that friend tip, you might as well shoot her a request.

DEVOUR: Today, Devour dropped a brand new music video for his song "Make Me Feel (Blown Off That Purp)," from his REDRUM album released last year. It's a song that was written for the deep love and true friendship between he and his lady. As expected, the visuals were directed by Chad. The video has been out for less than 24 hours, and it's already gained over 9,000 views. That's pretty dope! Check it out by clicking HERE, or click play on the mini player below.

FEGGY MIN: Feggy is doing another giveaway contest. You can enter by doing one or all three methods listed in this status. She basically asks you to like and follow her on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Tumblr, and then share/reblog the contest on whichever platform you choose. The package up for grabs includes: 1 shirt, 1 iPhone cover, 1 mouse pad, 1 backpack, 1 puzzle, and a bunch of random goodies. Remember, the specific details on participating here, and do it before May 5th (because that's when it ends). Also, check out this beautiful photo of a more "feminine" Feggy, donned in white with flowers in her hair. Lovely, as always.

That's all, folks!
Have a blessed weekend!

Spice Up Your Life

POETIC DEATH: At the end of May, from May 28th to May 31st, Poe will be in New York to film music videos off of his new album. Papa J. and Joogy Jugg will be there, too, so if you spot them, don't hesitate to say "hi" and introduce yourselves. Also, he has some new gear on the way... but have you got your hands on some of his "old" gear? Better GET SOME.

PAPA J: Other than heavily reminding you all that he has a big announcement coming on May 25th (look out for that!) and posting some visuals every now and then, Papa J has also been sharing some seriously cute photos of him and his son. While that's not too relevant to what he's been up to musically, it kind of is, because that's his heart right there... and where inspiration will come from. Family is everything... and he's being a full-time Papa. :)

GAVLYN: For all of you living in France, Gav will be out that way throughout the month of May. Be sure to look over the flyer to see if and when she'll be stopping in your city. Speaking of performances, Gav has been performing at select locations during Sick Jacken's tour along with Bambu (one of my favorite emcees). MAKE SURE YOU ATTEND ONE OF THOSE SHOWS, BECAUSE THAT'S SOME SICK TALENT UP THERE. All caps necessary, yes. They'll all be at Brick Mortar in San Francisco TOMORROW, so peep the flyer. For visual awesomeness, here's a photo of Bambu, Gavlyn, and Sick Jacken. And, for added spice-up-your-life flavor, I learned that Gavlyn and I share a love for the Spice Girls via photos of saved memorabilia (her picture and my picture). No shame in my game.

VIDA KILLZ: Calling all producers, miss Vida is seeking beats that resemble the sound and vibe to the one in "Lucid Dream". If this is what you're about, go ahead and hit her up (see her post).

JASSON C: After previously announcing the official release date for his forthcoming album, titled The Lymbo Ascent Project (#LAProject), Jasson invites his supporters to like and/or comment on this status if you want new material. He has singles prepared, and will begin shooting videos next month... so if you're fiending for that new-new, you better let him know!

THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A.: This guy just made a tweet talking about how he's in the lab working on his second solo album ("trust I'm coming with a lot of different sounds & styles this time around #AsSoundTravels"). Are you ready for that? Until then, you should go back in time to last year and listen to A Peace of Sound.

YARAH BRAVO: The awesomely wonderful Yarah has been performing out in Russia these last few days, and has been posting some funny selfies that will bring a smile to your face (hair ball in Moscow, and hair ball in Moscow pt 2, a flying Yarah). Her next show is in Minsk, Belarus tomorrow! I'm not exactly sure where the event is going to be held at, so if you're in the area and would like to attend, make sure you stay tuned to her Facebook page and/or ask Google.

FEGGY MIN: So, Feggy finally finished up all of her Block B "Jackpot" inspired illustrations. Have a look at all of them right here and tell her what you think!

THREAT THROWBACKS:
1) Poe posted this picture (here's a color version) of him and Papa J. He wrote a touching little post about the things they've been through together, and posed a thoughtful, rhetorical question on the idea of where they'll be at in 20 years and the impact they'll have on the world.
2) Papa J posted this photo from the summer of 2012 when he was filming an unreleased music video with Poe. He also posted this photo that shows him hanging out with Vida and Poe that same summer... just before he was hospitalized.

That wraps it up.
HAVE A DOPE WEEKEND!

Easter Weekend

It's that time again--it's Friday! The weather is lovely tonight and I'm feeling mighty healthy. It wasn't until yesterday that I remembered that Easter is just around the corner, so I'm barely just solidifying my plans. I see a honey-baked ham and other yummy food on the horizon; oh yes. Before I go ahead and tell you all that I hope your weekend is great, that it's filled with laughter and good times (and not spent too dangerously), let me get into what's new:

POETIC DEATH: I know Aster and Fiasco have already talked about the album's release, but let me reiterate that Poetic Death dropped his ONLY GODZ RELATE album five days ago, on April 13th! Much like Fiasco, I am not here to give you my review or thoughts on the album, because it's one that needs to be absorbed on a much larger scale and given many more listens, so you'll have to wait for that... or something (haha). With that said, though, have you given it a thorough listen through yet? What are your thoughts? What are your favorite tracks? If you haven't listened to it yet, or haven't snagged a digital copy, make your way to Bandcamp or any other digital retailer (iTunes, Goodle Play, etc) to add it to your arsenal of dope music. His IndieGoGo campaign is still up and running for hard copies, too. It ends on May 30th, though, so hurry up and reserve yours today.

"30 tracks of very thought provoking poetry, and broken limitations to the art of its culture. ONLY GODZ RELATE marks the next chapter to the introduction of Goth Hop / Sludge Hop, a combination of morbid poetry mixed with a desire and strive for a higher level of consciousness and overstanding."

Also, on April 16th, Poe got to kick it with BReal (of Cypress Hill fame) for a Heavyweights Radio interview on BReal TV (photo 1 and photo 2). Did you tune into that? Make sure you keep an eye on this website for when/if they post footage from the show.

GAVLYN: The winners from Gavlyn's "Forward Back" BeatStars remix contest were announced today. First place winner was awarded to Grim Fury (stream the remix) and the runner up was Jae Joe (stream the remix). Tomorrow, she will also be rocking alongside Oh Blimey during her set at Brokechella, on the Brownies and Lemonade Stage. Follow this link for information and the flyer.

Last, but not least, a new video interview surfaced, and it's from when she was in Spain on UMOtv. WATCH HERE where she talks about her album showcasing her transitions as an emcee, her eclectic taste in music, being fashionable in music, being featured in London's Front Magazine, and more. Tell me that microphone piece isn't enormous, haha.

VIDA KILLZ: Vida posted a brand new video for her Negative Space on vinyl IndieGoGo campaign. Check out the video below, get an idea of what the vinyl will sound like, and make sure you check out her fundraiser.

JASSON C: While Jasson has kind of been lowkey lately, he did announce the official release date for his forthcoming LA Project album today. You can look for it on June 5th, so put that on your calendar and stay tuned.

FEGGY MIN: Feggy has been really productive this week! Her new pieces include a duo feature of A$AP Lou Banga and A$AP Illz and a six-color variation of Jackson (of the Got 7 boy group). Remember this Zico piece from last week? Well, that was inspired by the new Block B's colorful and creative music video for "Jackpot" (Side note: Not related, but the lead girl in the music video is from one of my favorite Korean movies, called The Man From Nowhere. Ahhh, dope!). Feggy has been creating more vibrant illustrations of the boys from the video, such as another Zico piece, U-Kwon, P.O., and Park Kyung. They all look pretty dope, huh?!

Welp, that's about it.

ONLY GODZ RELATE 4/14/2014

This is FiascoTheGod and I am here to provide the latest Organized Threat scoop.

ONLY GODZ RELATE IS HERE!!!

Well...where do I start? I should start off by stating that I have listened to ONLY GODZ RELATE by VON POE VII/Poetic Death. Although I have done this, I only listened to each song once. For me to proceed by analyzing this album or letting you know my favorite tracks, would be disrespectful. You may think I am being lazy but, am I really? This guy just put in work for the past several months and you expect me to go in depth on a 30 track album? No. It's not going to happen. There are still a few things I would like to shed light on even though I won't be able to go in depth about them. Poetic Death is known to inject historical information in his poetry and indeed he does so in this album, it is very noticeable on the track Road To Kemet where he and the features on the track shed light on the history of Ancient Africans. Not only does VON POE VII aim to assists with bringing knowledge to the forefront of Hip-hop, but he also utilizes an element in Hip-hop that could be argued has been lost. That element is DJ'ing. DJ Starchild provided the cuts on ONLY GODZ RELATE. VON POE VII says that ONLY GODZ RELATE "marks the next chapter to the introduction of Goth Hop / Sludge Hop, a combination of morbid poetry mixed with a desire and strive for a higher level of consciousness and overstanding". ONLY GODZ RELATE indeed continues the "Goth Hop / Sludge Hop" that first began with VON POE VII. To pre-order a copy of ONLY GODZ RELATE and help contribute to the campaign, click here. To check out my exclusive interview with VON POE VII/ Poetic Death, which focuses on ONLY GODZ RELATE click here.

And There Goes The Surprise...Lol. Thanks Sev!

I was trying to keep the interview I set up with EmptySev, a secret from my Street Khemistry team. I was keeping it a secret just for the simple fact I wanted it to be a surprise. EmptySev ruined that with this tweet!! "Tried typing up answers for this interview w/ @StreetKhemistry on my phone and my hand got numb as fuck. Haha I'll do it on the PC tomorrow". The interview will focus on his upcoming album SEVENEMPTY and I know the questions that I composed will force EmptySev to provide new and intriguing information not only on the album, but on himself. The album is scheduled to be released on May 3rd.

Upcoming OGT Performances

Gavlyn will be performing at Velvet Jones in Barbara, CA on April 24th. Click here to view the flyer. Gavlyn will also be performing the next day, April 25th, at the Back Bar in San Jose, CA. Click here to view the flyer.

Rics Rumble and many other OGT members will perform at the 818 Basement on April 26th. The event is hosted by Organized Threat's own DJ Starchild. Click here to view the flyer and see what other OGT member will be performing.

And It Ends Like This...

There is your latest Organized Threat news! I was thinking about adding in a "Don't Fourget" or a "Random Organized Threat Tweet" (if you have read my previous blogs you'll know how those go) but, I decided to put as much attention on the historic release of ONLY GODZ RELATE. To show your support, leave a comment below that contains some of your favorite lines that can be heard on the album or tweet them to him @VonPoeVII. Once you have done so, you can consider me, FiascoTheGod, your savior.

OGT 411

It has been an incredibly long week for me and my family, but it's finally Friday and it's a happy one. My dad's surgery (on Monday) went well, he's on a positive road to recovery, and he was released from the hospital today. Why yes, I will take that drink now. Celebrate good times! Anyway, it's April 11th... so I'm here to give you the 411 (see what I did there?) on what some of the camp has been up to since the last post.

POETIC DEATH: As you may already know, Poe's highly anticipated and heavily talked about album ONLY GODZ RELATE is peaking up over that horizon as it arrives on April 13th! Two more days! While it will be released digitally through Bandcamp and other online retailers, please remember that he has an IndieGoGo Campaign running for hard copies! If you're interested in the LP in CD form, and receiving several other perks, too, don't hesitate to throw some money down to secure your own copies! Your opportunity to get involved in that fundraiser ends on May 1st, so keep that in mind.

April 13th is also Poe's birthday, so don't forget to queue up those "HAPPY 25TH BIRTHDAY" tweets, Facebook comments, shout outs, and all of that. I don't care what anyone says, that extra step to wish someone a good day, whether it's their birthday or not, feels good. So, make it happen! While I'm on the topic of birthdays, go ahead and do the same for Rics Rumble on the 13th, too, because I just found out that they were born on the same day... one year apart.

GAVLYN: Gav posted a photo on Wednesday that finds her posing with people such as Owkerdz, Dizaster, Mistah Fab, and Traphik after doing a cypher for Cypher Effect. Check it out right here and be on the look out for video. Also, if you haven't yet, make sure you watch her "Forward Back" music video!

DEVOUR: Devour will be performing in Pasadena tomorrow (APRIL 12th) at The Terrace. It's an all ages show and $10 to get in. The doors open at 8PM, but the show itself begins at 9PM and ends at 2AM. Check out the flyer right here for more information.

FEGGY MIN: We have a few updates from Feggy Min, so pay attention. She has a new, black-and-white long sleeve shirt coming soon to her shop and it's called "Balance" (keep a positive mind and know the value of balance in your life.). Remember when her shop was in the BIG Bazar store in Zurich? Well, check out this happy little photo of a smiling Feggy hanging out with her fans and supporters. Kpop group Block B showed and mentioned Feggy's artwork on the first episode of their new reality show called "5 Minutes Before Chaos". You'll find stills from the show right here. She also posted a teaser shot of a new piece of ZICO from Block B.

THREAT THROWBACKS: There is only one this week, and that came from EmptySev. He posted a flick of him and Poetic Death on the day that Sev graduated high school--have a look.

That's about it! Stay tuned for Monday.

Hope you all have a fantastic and fun weekend.
Smile and laugh a lot. :)

Forward Back

POETIC DEATH: As previously mentioned, Poe released an official announcement (click that link to watch the video) about his highly anticipated album ONLY GODZ RELATE. He set up an IndieGoGo Campaign where you can pre-order a hard copy of his 30-track album. Depending on how much money you contribute to this fundraising campaign, you can also receive things such as a "VII" t-shirt, a poster, a "VONPOEVII" beanie and snapback, and even co-producer credit and a personal shout out from Poe on the album's intro! Check it out, and look for his album on APRIL 13th!

GAVLYN: After all of those sneak peak photos of Gavlyn, Feggy Min, and Sara Fleur hanging out during the filming of a music video from Gav's new album Modest Confidence.... that video has finally arrived! The jazzy, saxophone-driven single "Forward Back" finds Gavlyn throwing up the middle fingers (metaphorically) and rapping about moving forward from a wack relationship/scenario, being true to self, and loving life. Looks like the trio had fun in the video, too! Filmed in Marseille, France and directed by Brune Charvin. Watch the video below in the mini player, orrrr click play on this link here and watch in HD.

That's not all that is new, either! On Thursday, she and Oh Blimey dropped a collaborative, hard-hitting track called "#Ew." Stream it over on Soundcloud, and catch Gavlyn on the second verse!

JMEGA: An interview surfaced on Thursday with JMega on the OK-Tho website (read here). He talked about how he came up with his alias, how the True Masterz formed, his music inspirations ranging from Ice Cube to Mobb Deep to Tha Alkaholiks, building with Poetic Death, his latest album, and much more. Be sure to check it out, so you can further get to know the emcee.

VIDA KILLZ: Have you contributed to Vida's IndieGoGo campaign to help her raise money to press up her Negative Space album on vinyl? If not, you should definitely have a look at what she's offering as incentives. Vida's lovely lady Sol Fern tells you why you should get involved and contribute, too. So, if you need some good reasons, watch this video. Now, go check out and/or share her INDIEGOGO CAMPAIGN.

RICS RUMBLE: Rics dropped a brand new track today called "Golden," in collaboration with Foxta. Stream it over on Soundcloud!

YARAH BRAVO: Do you live in Berlin and have a clear schedule on Saturday night? If so, you should hit up the Prince Charles bar around 11PM for the Party Arty Vol. 43 - Female Artist Special event, because Yarah will be on the stage performing and making you fall in love with her funky fresh music. Peep the Facebook Event for more information!

Also, her forthcoming EP is slowly approaching on April 30th? Are you ready? You can bet your ass that I am ready! The last album of hers that I bought was Good Girls Rarely Make History, which dropped in '08, so I am definitely ready for some new material from one of my favorite ladies rocking the mic. Yayuhhhh!

------------------------
That about wraps it up for today.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Don't get into too much trouble. :)

Positive Space

This month has been a little hectic for me on the family side of things, where my usual positive energy has had to increase two-to-three fold. Becoming a beacon of light for someone you love who is going through a tough, life altering adjustment is something that has to be done, even though it may require you to suppress your own emotions to remain a strong force for those who cannot. Family is everything. My dad will be getting surgery in a little over a week (to remove a small mass), and the fear that it might be cancerous is frightening (but you have to try to not think about those kind of things, you know?). Ugh, the body is so complex, man. Anyway, I'm over here sipping on a glass of wine while I do a short little write up on what's new with some of the members of the camp. Here we go!

POETIC DEATH: To hold us over until the release of his forthcoming album ONLY GODZ RELATE, Poe updated his previous album, titled VONPOEVII, as a special little treat to his fans. There's an updated album cover and playlist, so go ahead and check that out over at his Bandcamp page.

DEVOUR: Tomorrow, on March 29th, Devour has an all ages show going down in San Diego. It will be $10 to attend, or $30 to obtain VIP access at the Meet & Greet, and received a poster + picture. Have a look at this flyer for more information.

GAVLYN: If you are a fan of Gav on Facebook, you probably saw some behind-the-scenes photos with her and Snoop (see here, here, and here) on the set of Snoop's GGN. How exciting is that?! Look out for that.

VIDA KILLZ: As you might have hoped for, Vida launched the IndieGoGo campaign where you can contribute in pressing up vinyl of her Negative Space album. Incentives include poems, posters, buttons, a free test pressing, collaborative work, a Skype conversation, and more! It's an all or nothing fundraiser, so if you're a fan of this woman's work, you might as well DONATE HERE! Watch her video update below, too.

FEGGY MIN: If you're over there rocking your exclusive Feggy apparel of t-shirts, hoodies, crewnecks, and bags, but wondering how you're going to keep your feet looking fresh and matched up... question no further. She's getting socks next! Tell me you don't want some of those monsters! Anyway, don't forget to hit up BIG Bazar Store Zurich for the next few weeks, where you can buy Feggy merch and clothing, and even meet up with her on some of the days. Stay tuned through her Facebook page.

-------------------------------

I hope you all enjoy your weekend.
Appreciate your loved ones; go hug someone you care about.
Good night!

OGT Weekly 3/24/2014

More than a year later since I started blogging, I am here. I never fathomed the thought that I would one day be blogging for my favorite music artists. But I am here. My writing skills have increased tremendously since blogging for Organized Threat back in October and each Monday is a testament to that. I am in a great position and I am always thankful for every opportunity that presents itself. I find it very difficult to say no, even though I may want to, to an opportunity where people actually want me to be a part of their team. Of course, I never thought about saying no to the position to blog for the OGT Weekly. Denying this position would of been one of the worst decisions I would of ever made in my life. There are millions and millions of music lovers out there but, how many can actually say that they blog for their favorite artist(s)? I am very thankful to be one of those people and because this is true, I really do feel good about myself. To say, "I blog for Organized Threat" is just one of the coolest things ever. Now I can add to the list of "cool" things, I have interviewed Poetic Death/Von Poe VII.

Poetic Death/Von Poe VII Interview With FiascoTheGod & Street Khemistry

If you guys didn't know, I also blog for Street Khemistry. Knowing that Poetic Death/Von Poe VII's album ONLY GODZ RELATE was set to release April 13th, I thought it would be a great idea to obtain insight before its release. That's exactly what I did. Using a 5 Question format that we (Street Khemistry) like to call 5 In The Chamber, I interviewed Poetic Death. You can read the entire interview by clicking here. Below is one of the questions followed by the answer (of course):

5. Why have you decided to release ONLY GODZ RELATE under your alter ego Von Poe VII instead of Poetic Death or even your other alter ego Lord Darcia?

- To be honest, the entire embracement of the idea to really push the “VON POE VII” name came from a conversation I had with my brother JMega The God back in October of 2013 after coming back from Europe with Gavlyn and Papa J. Ruiz. While overseas, I became extremely irritated at the promoters for not putting my name on the flyers. For example, the typical flyer we’d see over there would be “Gavlyn and Organized Threat” or sometimes just “Gavlyn”. The problem was (as I swear this to you), at EVERY SINGLE SHOW the crowd was not only happy to see me there, they went crazy during my set. At every show. I’ve never really had fans in the States, most of fans have always been from overseas or Mexico because all the producers and collabs I would do since I was 16yrs old were with artist outside of the States. So for me it was like “Yo, put my name on the flyer so my peoples know I’m out here”. A lot of my fans are older, they don’t do Twitter or Facebook or none of that shit feel me? So in that sense a lot of my fans missed out on a lot in 2013. I came back and told Mega that I felt like a lot of these promoters didn’t want to put the word “Death” on a flyer and would rather promote sex appeal. That had nothing to do with what Gav wanted, but that’s just how these promoters work. She’s young and very attractive, they’re gonna milk it as much as they can. So yea I came back and Mega pretty much hit me with the science, he was like “Well my nigga to be honest, even though death is a natural thing, it represents the end your physical being. So for you to be out there putting out that energy, it’s going to be harder for you to really pull anything positive from it. Music or not, is death something you really want to be promoting?”. Yea man, that shit blew my mind. So he hit me with that, and we started building on the power of the number seven and how the “VONPOEVII” album should be more of an introduction to VON POE the artist. Dropping the “death” moniker and embracing the godliness that lives within all of us. Oh and just to bring it full circle, I use the Roman numeral in my name because I feel that Rome is to Europeans what Egypt is to Africans / African Americans. I am a Black Man, but I was brought up in America, a White Man’s world. So I want to pay respects to both, even though the Roman’s got their lessons from the Egyptians.

Lastly, my Lord Darcia character came to life at a time when I was dealing with a really bad breakup. So for me, that’s where I want that memory to stay. If I end up going through another breakup or something to that effect, I’ll bring him out again. But as of right now, I’m pushing the VII (seven).

What I really like about his answer is that we, the readers, obtain juicy historical information. We learn that Poetic Death's named was not featured on flyers even though he was performing at the show. We learn why Poe thinks that his name wasn't featured on flyers. We learn about about a conversation that he and JMega The God had. Like whaaat. That's crazy information packed into one answer! Absorb that answer because you never know when a game show host will ask you question about Poetic Death that requires one of these answers! I'm serious!
VON POE VII Will Be Re-released

Poetic Death announced on Facebook that he will be re-releasing VON POE VII with an updated cover and playlist this Friday. Since there will be an updated playlist, this could mean we will see previous tracks that were found on previous projects make there way onto the album. Maybe the playlist is just being rearranged with the same tracks. The first possibility seems more plausible though. It will be interesting to see how past tracks will fit into VON POE VII. He also goes on to say that this will be part one of the Villainz Trilogy. You can read the Facebook status by clicking here.

May 25th

Papa J. Ruiz has a big announcement on May 25th. He tweeted, "PEEP: Productive day, Out Here Griiinding BIG ANNOUNCEMENT May 25th! S/o @knowledgevision @joogyjugg #iii #OGT #55".Clicking on the link to that tweet will also provide you with a picture of Papa J. It looks as if he is either do a photo shoot or possibly shooting a music video. By tagging Joogy Jugg in the tweet I can't help but speculate that Papa J. has decided to do a music video for a track that Joogy Jugg has produced.

JG Releases New Sounds

JG drops a whole leap of sounds on soundcloud. Although he is known as a producer for Organized Threat, he is very capable of ripping the mic. The sounds recently uploaded on is Soundcloud contains older verses from him as well as instrumental tracks that he has now decided to release. Check them out by clicking here.

Nicer Than His Name

Tomorrow Razor will be dropping off a surprised "Merch Package" to one lucky fan. The package will include 1 copy of my "Sharper Than My Name" album, 1 copy of my "F.A.I.T.H" album, 1 copy of Papa J. Ruiz's "No Recollection" album, 1 copy of Poetic Death's "Von Poe VII" album, 1 "Lyrical Prophet" poster, and 1 #OrganizedThreat "Silencer" T-shirt. To see what cities he might visit, check out the caption in his Instagram picture by clicking here

Wrap Up

There is your latest scoop on the Organized Threat camp. Before you move on to your next task, please take a second read of the blog as well as check out the interview I conducted with Poetic Death. You are bound to learn something from the interview! I certainly did! You can now consider me, FiascoTheGod, your savior.
