The Purity of Love and War/Carousel/Exclusive News from JG

#OGTWeekly Exclusive News: JG and Razor are in the "early stages" of a joint album. On top of JG working with Razor, Chateau Des Dieux (JG+Vida Killz) have also begun to work on their next album. You can listen to the first Chateau Des Dieux album by clicking here.

This is Fiasco and I am really excited to supply you with a new OGT Weekly. Can't you tell by my face?

Papa J. Ruiz
A very happy birthday to Papa J. Ruiz! Make sure you head to PapaJRuiz.com to grab his music and merch!

Get ready for Papa J. Ruiz's HR-1955 album with the official album teaser. It is set for a March 25, 2015 release.

Vida Killz

Vida Killz has officially released her short story collection Thoughts While Dreaming: Collection 1. I'm looking forward to picking this up to explore more of Vida Killz' literature via her short stories.

If you were unaware, Vida Killz has commenced selling hardcopies of Negative Space again which are available by clicking here.

Three New OGT Albums

The Purity of Love and War by Von Poe VII

Von Poe VII doesn't waste anytime relaying powerful words in The Purity of Love and War. "Basquiat" commences the album and Von Poe VII makes tremendous use of words in this track. It's eye-opening jaw-dropping poetry. The ending skit on "Basquiat" featuring Jay Z gives you an idea of what the album is about.

It is also important to note that Poe has included 5 tracks that can also be found on his previous albums VONPOEVII and ONLY GODZ RELATE. I really like that idea because if new listeners like those tracks (for example, "Cowboy Bebop") they will go back to those albums. Basically it's a great way to still promote those albums while at the same time focusing on the new one.

Although it is hinted in "Basquiat" that the album is about love and war on the road to success I also feel that it is the love and war that Poe has experienced since being in the Hip-hop scene. He has made a lot of relationships within and outside Organized Threat and I believe that the The Buttress and Papa J. Ruiz solo's represent the "love" experience. As far as the "war" experience, Poe isn't shy in relaying his tenet of the current state of the rap game and his experiences with former Organized Threat members and those who tried to beef with the threat.

As far as putting focus on single tracks I appreciate the contrast between the tone of production and tone of Poe's voice in "Dante's inferno". The insertion of previous tracks such as "Phlegmatic" also remind me of my favorite lines from Poe such as the following "And my word is bond but, they don't understand it / so now I'm posted up in the garden with 2 leprechauns and a bandit". To this day I still don't understand what the garden, leprechauns, and bandit are supposed to represent and it doesn't bother me. It just fascinates me to keep thinking about what it could mean and those words strung together make prevent the track from being scant in poetry.

Words that are evoked when listening to The Purity of Love and War; poetry, frustration, genuine, yearning for something more (maybe recognition).

Samples Of Fire by Joogy Jugg

This 15 track beat tape from the Organized Threat producer Joogy Jugg features an array of sounds. All rappers are welcome to utilize these beats to their advantage. All we ask is that you give the proper credit to Joogy Jugg. Organized Threat is not only a movement but a family. That comes into play when Joogy allows Rellim to get a slot on his tape with "Jazz Work". Tracks like "Blue Flame, "THinkHiR", "Du Wop", "Sunlight", and "Cruising U.S.A." are some of my favorite tracks and justify Joogy Jugg's usage of the title Samples Of Fire

Before You Enter; The Ghost Room by Xican Brown

Xican Brown is one of the newest additions to the Organized Threat roster. Although we have seen his visual "God's Gravedigga" we still didn't know too much about him. His new album Before You Enter; The Ghost Room gives us more insight on his creative mind and who he is as an artist. Tracks like "Holy Water" and "Change for 20 Cents" are tracks you really do not want to miss. Live From The Ghost Room will be Xican Brown's next album.

New OGT Audio

JG releases the last single off his upcoming Stay Still album with "Strict" featuring Vida Killz

Jasson C goes on a lyrically onslaught in his new sound "OG Diablo".

New OGT Visual

Yarah Bravo bilingually expresses herself in her new visual "Carousel".

Von Poe VII starts the release of visuals for The Purity of Love and War with "Basquiat". This is also his first visual of 2015.

Unexpected news, A Von Poe VII visual, New THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. beat, and more!

#BREAKINGNEWS: Vida Killz confirms that there will be another DEATHKILLZ album! DEATHKILLZ is a collaborative effort between Von Poe VII and Vida Killz. If you would be so kind to me and appreciate the hard work I put in to insert the following link, click here to view the official tweet.

This is FiascoTheGod and I will continue to present to you the latest Organized Threat news.

Von Poe VII makes a statement as the leader of Organized Threat in his new visual "Ready To Die" and it is produced by OGT producer Faces. In this visual Poe performs his blunt track which is his expression of "frustration that comes with being a leader in a group of starving artists, and how difficult it can be trying to keep everyone's mind focused on on the overall goal and not just themselves" (Quoted from his YouTube description). The selfishness has to cease to exist. There is a contrast though in both the lyrics and visual. Even though Von Poe VII states that the track is focused on his frustrations as a leader, there is a brief mention by the poet that shows in the end he still has hope. Poe says "I'm tryna put my niggas on my nigga / I'm tryna turn us into millionaires / And I'm just ridin' to the beat my nigga / Cause all this talent really ain't fair / I'm flexin'". Not only are those words a sign that Poe knows it will work out in the end but, he is still smiling and enjoying himself in the video! The easy listening and calm beat produced by Faces may have influenced those lines as well! There's no way he could be completely fed up!

College graduate THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. has birthed and released a new beat entitled "Casanova". The first thought that surfaced in my head was the game Castlevania which I actually have never played. Of course that thought has to do with the title and not what sound is behind the title. THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. keeps on supplying the feel good tunes! Positive vibes! Will a dark side ever surface? This is where you press play...
Oh and by the way...you haven't responded to my text. :/

Devour looks to close out June in notable fashion. First, Devour plans on releasing a new visual along with director Chad A. Marshall (Von Poe VII) on Wednesday. It is unknown of which track it actually is but, you can view the official tweet by clicking here. For proof that is is directed by Chad A. Marshall please allow your index or middle finger to click here. Devour is also having a Meet & Greet and Pop - Up Shop on June 28 in Tempe, Arizona. Click here for full details.

Documentary, Music, News, & More In Today's OGT Weekly

This is FiascoTheGod and I am alive to provide you with the latest Organized Threat news.

In last Monday's OGT Weekly I showed you guys a part of my paper that I wrote for a Literary Criticism class. It was on Poetic Death's track entitled Regret. I have received my paper back and I earned a B+. Here is another part of the paper.

--
“The baby becomes aware of its body only in bits and pieces [...] When the awareness of being separate comes, as it must if the individual is to move from nature to culture, the sense of unity with others and other objects is lost and, along with it, the sense of security that it provided. With the baby desiring a return to that earlier period of oneness  with the mother, its needs at this point turn into demands, specifically demands for  attention and love from another that will erase the separation that the baby knows; but such a reunion is not possible. One can never return” (Dobie 65-66).

Would you claim that the sense of yearning to hug your mother is an example of wanting to be back in that period of “oneness”? In the first verse of Regret, Poetic Death writes “And When My Mother Passes / Will I Ever Get To Hug Her” (19,21).  Pondering the thought of wanting to hug his mother is exemplary of what is defined by Dobie and Lacan as the mirror stage. Since Poetic Death knows that he can never return to that state of “oneness”, especially when she is not physically present on Earth, he hopes to do so spiritually in the afterlife. Could it be possible that if an afterlife does exist, that Poetic Death can actually go back to that state of “oneness”? Lacan does not touch on the afterlife so we are left to ponder that thought.
--

The first paragraph describes what the mirror stage is. In her book "Theory Into Practice: An Introduction to Literary Criticism" Ann B. Dobie assists in helping to describe what Lacan meant by the mirror stage. The second paragraph is the application of the mirror stage to Poetic Death's poem/track Regret.

Now we shall proceed to the news.

The Latest On Von Poe VII

Von Poe VII  has re-uploaded a 20 episode documentary on Youtube that he calls "L.I.F.E.". This documentary covers his life from 2011-2012. I have not watched it yet so I cannot yet comment on it. I should be able to watch it by my next OGT Weekly so I will be sure to provide my thoughts. Since I did not know about Organized Threat during those years, I am very pleased to be introduced to the earlier history of Von Poe VII and Organized Threat. It is of great interest of me to know as much about Organized Threat as possible. I am sure it is to you so click here to begin watching the documentary.

Informing us via Instagram, Von Poe VII tells us that he has finished designing the hard copies for "ONLY GODZ RELATE". Once he arrives at the halfway mark for the fundraiser he will begin to get them pressed. To donate to the fundraiser click here. Click here to view the Instagram photo.

Von Poe VII has been working with MC The Buttress and they have been creating a track together. A music video by the first week of June is also possible. To prove that I am no liar, click here for the official Facebook post by Von Poe VII.

See What's New With OGT

I am FiascoTheGod. The clown on top of the tree. The wind in your hair. The raisin in your cookie. And I am here to provide you with the latest Organized Threat news.

Befive we begin, I would like to reply to a question that was proposed by Aster in her last OGT Weekly. The question of if people deserve a second chance. My answer is yes. The reason I say yes is because I know that I would like a second chance at a multitude of things if the opportunity presented itself. Although you could, it's not reasonable to expect people to succeed the first time around. Do you succeed the first time around in everything you do? If not, then why would you expect someone else to? People do deserve a second chance.

Allow me to inform you guys about a paper I have written. Oh, you allowed me? Thank you very much. Today I handed in a paper for my Literary Criticism class. I had to apply two literary theories to a text. The text that I chose was "Regret" by Poetic Death. This paper was probably the most challenging paper I have ever written. Partly due to the fact that this class is difficult and I do not 100% understand the criticisms that I used for the paper. I am sure not all of you are familiar with literary criticisms, but the two I chose were Lacanian and Deconstruction. I am not confident at all with the paper I handed in today, but here is an excerpt of the paper that I think you guys will enjoy:

The mirror stage does not cease at the end of verse one. Lines 38 to 43 showcase the aspect of the mirror stage when the baby knows since it can no longer reunite with the mother, it needs to seek attention and love from others. In this case Poetic Death seeks support “Cause Life Could Be a Trip Without Support From Those Who Need You / I was Told To Overcome / I Had To Build My Own Foundation / That Could Out-stand / Even The Toughest Of Situations” (38-43). His own foundation turned out to be Organized Threat. Organized Threat is a movement of artists that seek unity. The members of Organized Threat show love and support for Poetic Death and in return he accepts it because he cannot go back to the period of “oneness”  with his mother.

Basically in that paragraph I claimed that the reason why Poetic Death created Organized Threat was because he was searching for support and love from others because he was aware that he could never return to the period of "oneness" with his mother. "Oneness" meaning in his mother's belly. That's pretty deep stuff right? If the paper receives a grade that I am satisfied with, I will share the rest of the paper with you all.

I am sure there are new Organized Threat fans reading this so just to let you know, "Regret" is one of Poe's older pieces of work. He has taken down the video but, you can read the lyrics and listen to the track on Rap Genius by clicking here.

SEVEN EMPTY

EmptySev released his album "SEVEN EMPTY" this weekend and it can be streamed and downloaded by clicking here. You can own it for free but, you can also show your support for this piece of art by contributing a few dollars. I've been praising "Bloody Sabre" ever since he leaked it before the album released and now after my first listen today, I am praising the thought provoking track "Believe You Me". Let me know what tracks you are feeling in your first few listens to "SEVEN EMPTY" by leaving a comment below.

Poe Shooting A Video For "Paradox". Rellim Where You At Booooooy?

Von Pon VII tweeted Rellim to let him know that if he is still in L.A. that he could come through to the video shoot for his newest track "Paradox" which is produced by Rellim. Rellim still hasn't replied to his tweet though. Will Rellim ever respond to Poetic Death? Or did he not want to make it public and they communicated privately? Is Rellim permanently in L.A.? Will I ever get to...never mind. So many questions. Only one OGT Weekly.

Poetic Death has informed us via Twitter that he will be dropping videos for both "ONLY GODZ RELATE" and "VON POE VII" every month. You can gaze upon the official tweet by clicking here.

80k Or Nah?

Papa J. Ruiz challenges you guys to help get his video "Bout iiiT" to 80k views on the Youtube. Can we do this or nah?....Yah! We can so click here to view the video and share it with a couple of friends! Or if you just made a new enemy, show them this video so you guys can stop beefing and be friends! Yes to more friends!

The Before and After

HELLO OGT FANS AND FANATICS, FRIENDS AND FOES !

Welcome my minions, once again to this weeks' Wednesday OGT weekly addition drenched in everything ORGANIZED THREAT! Its also my pleasure to continue with you past a crucial moment in times turning pages: the release of VONPOEVII'S #ONLYGODZRELATE. We have left the before and finally transcended the after, little ones. Can you feel planets dis-aligning?! Do you feel the blood under your skin starting to boil? Do you feel reality start to peel away like wallpaper? Do you feel yourself starting to turn into a wolf? or perhaps, wolf-ette? If so, GOOD, keep listening. Fully loaded with 30 tracks of blood, sweat and poetry, I find it hard to refer to the project as an 'album' because the simple definition doesn't even come close to doing justice to such a natural display of expression. To describe it as anything essentially confines it; a definition is easy to settle for but it also limits other possible avenues of interpretation. For example, an apple is usually an apple. But it can also be a form of pipe, weapon, and in some instances a bribe. The beauty of art and other aspects of life, I believe, is not held solely within the intent of the creator, but also within the beholder's individual interpretation. The beauty of art is within its boundlessness, and I believe #ONLYGODZRELATE is an exemplary paradigm of this. I am more than honored to have contributed to VONPOEVII'S project and if you haven't seen yet; get ready to strip off ya britches! Because #ONLYGODZRELATE [Full Length] has recently been added to YouTube! Click the link, get ya asses over to the channel and make sure to take advantage of the FREE DOWNLOAD as well! Stay safe and don't do anything stupid [unless its worth it] But besides that, our very own DJSTARCHILD will be performing at Rhymefest! OGT Weekly 3/31/2014

One, among many things that I am excited for on ONLY GODZ RELATE, is hearing from Soulcat E-Phife and Yarah Bravo. Honestly, those two MCs out of all the others on Organized Threat I am least familiar with. One part is due to my ignorance on how to convert currency and not knowing how much their music is. Although I have heard a couple of verses from each artists, their verses on ONLY GODZ RELATE will be their introduction to me. And I am sure it is their introduction to many other Organized Threat fans. I don't know if they realize that their verses on this album are very important, not only because it helps complete what is ONLY GODZ RELATE, but because I hypothesize that Organized Threat fans in North America are not that familiar with their work, they must come correct on the track they are featured on. After stating that, I am not worried at all that they won't. I have realized that every MC in OGT is always focused on giving 100% all of the time and are all aimed at injecting true poetry and intellect to Hip hop and I am sure that Yarah Bravo and Soulcat E-Phife are capable of doing the same.

This is FiascoTheGod and I am here to supply you with the latest Organized Threat news.

ONLY GODZ RELATE TRACKLIST REVEALED

Of course what helped birth that introduction was Poetic Death/VON POE VII's decision to officially reveal the tracklist for ONLY GODZ RELATE. This can be gazed upon by clicking here. EVERY ORGANIZED THREAT MEMBER WILL BE ON THE ALBUM!

JMega The God

JMega The God releases a new track entitled Metal Armz which is produced by Aquarius Minded. Click here to listen. JMega The God's flow was flawless on this track. Looking at the title of the track, I thought of two possible meanings. The first, I imagined JMega The God taking a superhero/godlike form, with literally metal arms. Using these superhero/godlike metal arms, he was able to birth these incredible lyrics. The second, which probably does not apply to this track, I was thinking about guns. That just may be because I've been listening to a lot of trap music lately. lol :)

As It Travels, The Sooner The Sound Arrives

THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. reminds us that he is working on his album As Sound Travels. He tweets, "In the lab working on this next album.. I want to make sure this record is as clean as I can make it! #AsSoundTravels.. coming soon".

Negative Space Vinyl Campaign

As mentioned in the previous OGT Weekly, Vida Killz has started a campaign in order to raise money to make Vinyls of her Negative Space album. There are various different amounts you can donate and each comes with unique incentives. Click this link here to read the incentives and find out how to donate.

Wrap Up

We really are getting closer folks! It is difficult to not talk about the anticipated album that is ONLY GODZ RELATE. Each and every week, at least around the time that my OGT Weeklys are due, new information surfaces about the album. Each week, Poetic Death/VON POE VII embraces what he has created. Each week, OGT fans are curious to what new information will release. The wait will soon be over. April 13th, 2014 ONLY GODZ RELATE. Before you continue with your Monday routine, take a second or third look at the blog, listen to JMega's track, and absorb the news. Oh, and if you are following a Monday routine, BREAK IT! DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT! You can now consider me, FiascoTheGod, your savior.

OGT Weekly 3/24/2014

More than a year later since I started blogging, I am here. I never fathomed the thought that I would one day be blogging for my favorite music artists. But I am here. My writing skills have increased tremendously since blogging for Organized Threat back in October and each Monday is a testament to that. I am in a great position and I am always thankful for every opportunity that presents itself. I find it very difficult to say no, even though I may want to, to an opportunity where people actually want me to be a part of their team. Of course, I never thought about saying no to the position to blog for the OGT Weekly. Denying this position would of been one of the worst decisions I would of ever made in my life. There are millions and millions of music lovers out there but, how many can actually say that they blog for their favorite artist(s)? I am very thankful to be one of those people and because this is true, I really do feel good about myself. To say, "I blog for Organized Threat" is just one of the coolest things ever. Now I can add to the list of "cool" things, I have interviewed Poetic Death/Von Poe VII.

Poetic Death/Von Poe VII Interview With FiascoTheGod & Street Khemistry

If you guys didn't know, I also blog for Street Khemistry. Knowing that Poetic Death/Von Poe VII's album ONLY GODZ RELATE was set to release April 13th, I thought it would be a great idea to obtain insight before its release. That's exactly what I did. Using a 5 Question format that we (Street Khemistry) like to call 5 In The Chamber, I interviewed Poetic Death. You can read the entire interview by clicking here. Below is one of the questions followed by the answer (of course):

5. Why have you decided to release ONLY GODZ RELATE under your alter ego Von Poe VII instead of Poetic Death or even your other alter ego Lord Darcia?

- To be honest, the entire embracement of the idea to really push the “VON POE VII” name came from a conversation I had with my brother JMega The God back in October of 2013 after coming back from Europe with Gavlyn and Papa J. Ruiz. While overseas, I became extremely irritated at the promoters for not putting my name on the flyers. For example, the typical flyer we’d see over there would be “Gavlyn and Organized Threat” or sometimes just “Gavlyn”. The problem was (as I swear this to you), at EVERY SINGLE SHOW the crowd was not only happy to see me there, they went crazy during my set. At every show. I’ve never really had fans in the States, most of fans have always been from overseas or Mexico because all the producers and collabs I would do since I was 16yrs old were with artist outside of the States. So for me it was like “Yo, put my name on the flyer so my peoples know I’m out here”. A lot of my fans are older, they don’t do Twitter or Facebook or none of that shit feel me? So in that sense a lot of my fans missed out on a lot in 2013. I came back and told Mega that I felt like a lot of these promoters didn’t want to put the word “Death” on a flyer and would rather promote sex appeal. That had nothing to do with what Gav wanted, but that’s just how these promoters work. She’s young and very attractive, they’re gonna milk it as much as they can. So yea I came back and Mega pretty much hit me with the science, he was like “Well my nigga to be honest, even though death is a natural thing, it represents the end your physical being. So for you to be out there putting out that energy, it’s going to be harder for you to really pull anything positive from it. Music or not, is death something you really want to be promoting?”. Yea man, that shit blew my mind. So he hit me with that, and we started building on the power of the number seven and how the “VONPOEVII” album should be more of an introduction to VON POE the artist. Dropping the “death” moniker and embracing the godliness that lives within all of us. Oh and just to bring it full circle, I use the Roman numeral in my name because I feel that Rome is to Europeans what Egypt is to Africans / African Americans. I am a Black Man, but I was brought up in America, a White Man’s world. So I want to pay respects to both, even though the Roman’s got their lessons from the Egyptians.

Lastly, my Lord Darcia character came to life at a time when I was dealing with a really bad breakup. So for me, that’s where I want that memory to stay. If I end up going through another breakup or something to that effect, I’ll bring him out again. But as of right now, I’m pushing the VII (seven).

What I really like about his answer is that we, the readers, obtain juicy historical information. We learn that Poetic Death's named was not featured on flyers even though he was performing at the show. We learn why Poe thinks that his name wasn't featured on flyers. We learn about about a conversation that he and JMega The God had. Like whaaat. That's crazy information packed into one answer! Absorb that answer because you never know when a game show host will ask you question about Poetic Death that requires one of these answers! I'm serious!
VON POE VII Will Be Re-released

Poetic Death announced on Facebook that he will be re-releasing VON POE VII with an updated cover and playlist this Friday. Since there will be an updated playlist, this could mean we will see previous tracks that were found on previous projects make there way onto the album. Maybe the playlist is just being rearranged with the same tracks. The first possibility seems more plausible though. It will be interesting to see how past tracks will fit into VON POE VII. He also goes on to say that this will be part one of the Villainz Trilogy. You can read the Facebook status by clicking here.

May 25th

Papa J. Ruiz has a big announcement on May 25th. He tweeted, "PEEP: Productive day, Out Here Griiinding BIG ANNOUNCEMENT May 25th! S/o @knowledgevision @joogyjugg #iii #OGT #55".Clicking on the link to that tweet will also provide you with a picture of Papa J. It looks as if he is either do a photo shoot or possibly shooting a music video. By tagging Joogy Jugg in the tweet I can't help but speculate that Papa J. has decided to do a music video for a track that Joogy Jugg has produced.

JG Releases New Sounds

JG drops a whole leap of sounds on soundcloud. Although he is known as a producer for Organized Threat, he is very capable of ripping the mic. The sounds recently uploaded on is Soundcloud contains older verses from him as well as instrumental tracks that he has now decided to release. Check them out by clicking here.

Nicer Than His Name

Tomorrow Razor will be dropping off a surprised "Merch Package" to one lucky fan. The package will include 1 copy of my "Sharper Than My Name" album, 1 copy of my "F.A.I.T.H" album, 1 copy of Papa J. Ruiz's "No Recollection" album, 1 copy of Poetic Death's "Von Poe VII" album, 1 "Lyrical Prophet" poster, and 1 #OrganizedThreat "Silencer" T-shirt. To see what cities he might visit, check out the caption in his Instagram picture by clicking here

Wrap Up

There is your latest scoop on the Organized Threat camp. Before you move on to your next task, please take a second read of the blog as well as check out the interview I conducted with Poetic Death. You are bound to learn something from the interview! I certainly did! You can now consider me, FiascoTheGod, your savior.

Untitled 3/17/2014

At the time Poetic Death released VON POE VII, I was a brand new listener and there were many things that impressed me about the album that convinced me to stay a listener. One of those things was Poetic Death allowing Overstand Basics to recite one of his own poems on the album. Yes, it is labeled as a skit but I see it as a track on the album (I normally don't consider skits as a track on an album). Why did it impress me? Well for one, it is a sick ass poem. Secondly, Poetic Death basically let another person obtain some sort of shine on his album and Poetic Death was not even part of it. It wasn't Poetic Death featuring Overstand Basics, it was just Overstand Basics. To me, that showed me that Poetic Death is more concerned about putting out the best possible piece of art. If that means allowing a poet to do his own thing on the album, then Poe is willing to do that. As fans/listeners/admirers/bloggers we should all look for that when we are searching for an artist. We shouldn't settle for someone who is not willing to let another artist obtain some shine just because he or she believes that since it is their album, they should be the main attraction and all attention should be focused on them. We should not settle for less because it is our time and money that we invest in.

It's FiascoTheGod and I am here to provide you with the latest Organized Threat news.

Overstand Basics To Be On ONLY GODZ RELATE?

What triggered the thought to compose that introduction was a brief conversation Poetic Death and Overstand Basics had via Twitter. Poetic Death tweeted "@overstandbasics bro can you shoot me that poem again, the email got scrambled". Now I know I may look like an idiot now. There isn't much to come to the conclusion that Overstand Basics will indeed be on ONLY GODZ RELATE but there is a possibility. Of course that isn't saying much when I can basically say something outrageous and go, "well there is a possibility". But no, really...Overstand Basics appearing on the album seems like a possibility.

Update From The General

If you haven't noticed, there has not been much activity going on with the Organized Threat Youtube channel. The general, Poetic Death acknowledges this in a recent Facebook status. Click here to read what he had to announce.

Poetic Death To NY

Poetic Death tweeted that he will be going to New York in May. He confirmed with me via Twitter that this trip will be to shoot a music video with producer Saheed who is confirmed as one of the producers on ONLY GODZ RELATE. You can check out our brief Twitter exchange by clicking here.

The Latest On JG

Producer JG has created a Tumblr page that will focus solely on "background information on [his] tunes". JG entitled his page THE SITES & SOUNDS OF JG. In his first blog post he mentions his contribution to Vida Killz' Negative Space project:

The “Intro” and “Outro” to vidakillz Negative Pace album were actually sent to Vida as one track. She split it and turned the resulting pieces into the opener and closer of this fantastic album.

This is a really good idea by JG. The Organized Threat fans will surely enjoy background information about the music that JG has created. Fans receive historical information and they are also reminded of older pieces of work and may feel inclined to go back and listen to it. (I am not implying that nobody listens to older pieces of music. We don't always remember ever song by each artist, you know?). It would be really cool if other members of Organized Threat decided to do something like JG is doing. Even if it's not on a consistent basis, it will still be intriguing to learn background information, when we do obtain it. To read the rest of JG's blog, click here

Papa J. Ruiz x JG

It looks like Papa J. Ruiz and JG have something in the works. JG tweeted Papa J. mentioning that he would like to have a verse on a beat entitled Butter that he sent him and Papa J. Ruiz gave him the green light. Eventually Papa J. received JG's verse but wants a longer verse from JG. You can peep their Twitter conversation by clicking here

Formulating A Thought

THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. recently sent out a tweet that is composed of his opinion on some MCs. He tweeted, "I feel like some mc's run out subject matter so they go back to same themes Money; choes, drugs, cloths cuz it sells and people will dance". Now, at this moment I do not have a response. Although I do not have a response, I do not think he is out of line either. What I would like to know as I am sure he is as well, is your opinion. You can do so by leaving a comment below or replying to the tweet itself.

Peace To The Movement & Support It!

That's concludes today's OGT Weekly. Make sure you guys take a second look at the blog and after you are done with that, show some love to Organized Threat! You can do so by following them on Twitter and Instagram as well as liking their Facebook pages. Also, make sure to check out the craziest visual out right now, Rics Rumble's Hold My Tongue Remix. And if you know a person or two who are looking for some new beats, show them Threatstrumentals which is a beat tape composed by every Organized Threat producer. Each producer has 2 new beats on there! After providing you with the latest Organized Threat information, you can consider me, FiascoTheGod, your savior.

FLEXXXCOAST

Have you ever wanted to be somebody else? Not another person that is already existing, but a brand new person? Is the fact that the adult figures in your life and possibly your peers telling you, without justification that, you should be happy with who you are, prevented you from exploring the option of being a completely different person? Well I am here to tell you that it is okay to want to be a completely different person. We are all on this planet for a short amount of time. 1 day or 100 years, both are still a short time to be on this planet. It is up to you to experience it the way you want. If you want to take a chance and be a different person, go out and do that. One way you can do that is through art. Poetic Death is a great example of what I am talking about. He holds various alter-egos such as Lord Darcia, Von Poe VII, and I think he has an alter-ego in his duo with EmptySev when they call themselves FLEXXXCOAST. Having an alter-ego in art may be as close as you can get to being a new person (unless you have a psychological disorder). And if you were ever worried about people judging you, no one can ever be justified in judging somebody for having an alter-ego in art. Although I just mentioned Poetic Death as a prime example of alter-egos, what really sparked this thought is EmptySev's latest track entitled Bloody Sabre when he goes by the alter-ego Victor Kreed. As a fan, this is my favorite track created by EmptySev, and it comes as his first released track by his alter-ego Victor Kreed. Experimenting with alter-egos within art can possibly bring out the best in you. Not only that but you may learn a little bit more about yourself. When I think about an alter-ego I figure that although this is an ego that is supposed to be different from the original person, somehow or someway, there are traits of that original person into his or her alter-ego that were stored deep deep inside that persons conscious. Maybe traits and thought processes that the original person was never able to express before but now can thanks to a new life. I believe that that's the coolest thing about a simple name change. You produce things that you may have never thought possible.

This is FiascoTheGod and I am here to supply you with the latest scoop of the Organized Threat camp.

The Birth Of Victor Kreed

As I mentioned in the opening paragraph, EmptySev released a new track under the alter-ego Victor Kreed. It is entitled Bloody Sabre and it is produced by Ruman. Although I was intrigued from line 1 to the last, what really had me going was how EmptySev was able to use his name within Bloody Sabre as Victor Kreed.

yo, trynna fuck wit Vic is like attemptin 7 murdas,
with a spork in your hand, take a step in my land,
a buncha empty bottles and verses written on napkins,

As you can see Victor Kreed was able to sneak EmptySev in those three lines, "7 murdas" and "empty bottles". I don't know if that was done intentionally or not but it was cool to discover that by myself. Whether it was done intentionally or not does not take away from the creativity and effort put behind those lines. I know EmptySev is focused on working on his new album but hopefully, as a greedy fan, he is able to release some more tracks under Victor Kreed. And if he loses the need to want to create more art under that alter-ego, rest in peace to Victor Kreed.

Latest On The Villain

As we near closer to Poetic Death's release of Only Godz Relate, he lets us know of a track that he is very happy about. Poe tweeted, "Got this track called "Lord Darcia". Very happy with how this came out lol".

Communion, Rusted Hallways and now...well we will see. Poetic Death announced via Twitter that Devour will be on Only Godz Relate (well he doesn't really specify but it's safe to assume so) and it will be produced by Rellim. Poetic Death tweets, "Got this track with my bro @DevourUpp that I KNOW is gonna be dope, and where it's placed on the album is crazy. Produced by @stonedrellim".

Poetic Death has mentioned before that he is thinking of starting a street team and over the weekend he officially introduced to us The VII Villainz Movement. Although it won't be active until June you can like the Facebook page by clicking here and there is also a Twitter account you can follow by clicking here

Poetic Death also let us know via Twitter that he has a track with Rics Rumble, "Man I got this joint with @RicsRumbles right, and this dude drops solid "ouches" throughout his whole verse. Whoa...". I don't know what "ouches" means but it sounds really good! Maybe "ouches" can be a new term to describe dope lines within a verse. Hmmm...

Let The Writing Begin

Razor lets us know that he has started the writing process for his third album. Although it won't be released for "quite some time" he will be releasing music videos off his first album Sharper Than My Name and his second album F.A.I.T.H. To official see the announcement click here to view his Facebook status.

Gavlyn Has THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A.

THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. announced via Twitter that he is currently working on a track with Gavlyn. He tweeted "Working on a record with @GavlynAndShit.. Stay tuned". When it comes to beats produced by THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. I think about chill and laid back beats. If this happens then we may see Gavlyn go to work and create something similar to the songs on her Modest Confidence album. THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. does not always deliver what you expect so what I just typed may not be at all what the two have in store for us. Either way, these two are Organized Threat members which means hard work, passion, honesty and creativity will be behind every second of the track.

Continue To FLEXXX

That is the end of my OGT Weekly and so now that we are done, feel free to take a second look at the blog and don't forget to check out Victor Kreed's (EmptySev) new track Bloody Sabre. You can now consider me, FiascoTheGod, your savior.

OGT Weekly 2/17/14

This is FiascoTheGod and here is the latest scoop on Organized Threat.

Out of all social media sites, Twitter is my favorite and I utilize it the most. From showing love to my personal friends, to posting my blogs, expressing my opinions, and when I see an opportunity to add my input on someones tweet, I do so. One thing I very rarely do is quote lines from Organized Threat MCs. There have been many times that I've wanted to but I haven't. It's for the simple reason that I do not want to seem like a "dick riding" fan. That's one thing I am afraid of doing and I am in a vulnerable position where almost every Organized Threat member follows me on Twitter. I probably already seem like a Lupe Fiasco one because I go by the name FiascoTheGod. I might as well make it clear now, that I am not saying Lupe Fiasco is a God, I am saying I am Fiasco, and I am a God. As much as I want to live my life not worrying about what people think, when it comes to artists that I like and actually blog for it's completely different. I look up to and support these group of men and women and for them to look at me in a negative light, would just suck. I want to say Poetic Death has stated that he doesn't want any dick riding fans but I would really hate to misquote him in this situation but, I do remember him stating on Twitter that he wants intellectual fans, fans who do their research etc. I bring this up because Saturday night I went out to celebrate my boys birthday and we took a picture (which can be viewed by clicking here) and I threw up the #VII that Poetic Death does in his latest visual The Reign Of VII. Of course I didn't think any of it at the time because I may or may not have been intoxicated but, when I woke up the next morning and saw the picture, I regretted it. Although I would support any other fan doing it, and I really feel Organized Threat fans should start doing it to show support, I felt stupid just because in some shape or form I am associated with Organized Threat because I blog for them. And as I am getting deeper into this venting I realize that it is stupid for me to even worry about that when there are bigger things to worry about but, dammit! Fudge it, I'm going to keep throwing up the #VII. :)

Interview With Endure One

My interview with Endure One is up on StreetKhemistry.com. The objective of the interview was to obtain insight on the tape that the Organized Threat producers have put together entitled Threatstrumentals. The interview is a 5 question interview format and I really enjoyed the answers that Endure One provided. There is also a bonus question at the end to let us know what Endure One has planned for this year. You can check out our interview by clicking here. Remember, Threatstrumentals will be released on February 24th.

CONGRATS TO THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A.

THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. just inked a deal with Music of the Sea! This deal gives him the opportunity for his music to be placed on tv, films, and ads. Congrats bro and make that money flow! You can view a picture of him signing the contract by clicking here.

New Sounds

Faces has just recently uploaded to new sounds to his soundcloud. The first is entitled "C.R.E.A.M.". It starts off very well and I was slowly getting into it but that process sped up at the 39 second mark when the voice samples started to drop. That's when I was really into it. Noticing the title of the track you may know what to expect to hear in the voice samples. Now we transition into a dedication song from Faces to his friend Dustyn, who is no longer with us. I feel this is one of those things you just don't comment on but I thought it was important to let you know that this sound does exist. You can listen to the track entitled "For D-Fro (R.I.P.)" by clicking here.

Rellim has posted a new beat to TrakTrain. It is entitled "Water The Garden" and you can lease it for $25 or exclusively for $100. You can do so by clicking here.

Words With Poe, Six For Sev

Poetic Death is giving out "Free Fades" on the Words With Friends app so add his username "VonPoeVii". He also confirms that he will be releasing a new visual on March 7th. If you don't believe me read his tweet by clicking here.

EmptySev tweeted that he has new verses, "Pumped out around 6 verses today.. feel accomplished as fuck. Time for mini celebration". Although we don't know when these verses come out and even when they do, we won't know that they were the ones being tweeted about in that tweet, it's great to know that EmptySev was able to do something that he feels proud about. I hope he was able to enjoy his mini celebration as well.

Conversations W/ POE "So what would you like to do?"

HELLO OGT FANS AND FANATICS, FRIENDS AND FOES !

"So what would you like to do?" Mr. Ern Dogg asked VONPOEVII as we sat beneath the setting sun on the back porch of Soul Assassins Studios this recent cool Sunday afternoon, our energies shuffling across the mosaic table along with the playful breeze. My mouth was on the floor and my ears alert more than ever before, yet not simply due to the circumstance, but by the lesson behind the story Mr. Ern Dogg articulated to introduce the question. He told us a story about opportunities and the importance of not taking them for granted, the significance of a productive balance between confidence and Ego, and about pushing forward responsibly. I was the bystander of exchange between sage and student, which to me is essentially priceless. Usually when I'm witness to networking exchanges or business collabs as such, its as if I'm showing up to a soccer game ready to play with a tennis racket and one of those fancy sweaters. As some of you may know, I grew up singing country music and playing Mandolin in a small minded city; the most conservative-concentrated area in the San Joaquin Valley in fact. So, growing up I was largely sheltered by that stupid geographical circumstance, ignorant to a lot wonderful things I never knew existed. And when I found out how much I was missing out on, variations of knowledge and wisdom I(now of age) was letting slip by me, I was beyond resentful. After understanding that there are just some things in life one can't control, I decided I would do everything that I could with what I could control, and learn everything I could through the resources available to me. Hip-Hop culture being one of those wonderful things I never knew existed; I take a lot from these specific interactions between sage and student. I'm blessed to say its something I'm able to relate to, something that I feel that is larger than myself. And every week I learn something new about myself from these OGT blogs I present to you beautiful freaks and geeks; an opportunity that I was given that has now morphed into a philanthropic responsibility. My point being - do everything you can with the opportunities you are given no matter how large or small, and listen carefully to the wisdom passed down from those who left the footprints you now tread. That being said - keep your three eyes open for something very special from Mr. Ern Dogg and the ORGANIZED THREAT Movement. For now, remind yourselves of how fucking awesome 'THE REIGN OF VII' is. Vibe out and let the HUMP DAY soak in. You're welcome nymphs and nymphettes, you can thank me later.

OGT Weekly 1/27/2014

10K

Poetic Death has finally reached 10,000 likes on Facebook! Congrats! If you haven't liked his page yet click here to do so. Keeping his word of planning to release a music video on the 7th of every month, this year, Poetic Death reminds us. He posted on Facebook, "Going to be dropping a new video on the 7th of next month. Thank you all again for helping me reach the ears of 10,000+ people here on Facebook, it means a lot for real. Let's get it folks, next goal is 50,000+". If you missed his January 7th music video for "THE VILLAIN", click here to watch it.

Poetic Death, Papa J. Ruiz, and JMega The God will be on Soul Assassins Radio on Shade 45 at 7 pm PST / 10 pm EST. Check out the flyer here.

Hex

Rics Rumble and Jasson C were featured on a track entitled "Hex These Haters". It is produced by Eat Da Babies. Rics Rumble effortlessly switches from rapid spit fire to an on tempo flow with the flick of a switch while Jasson C flows naturally over this hard hitting production by Eat Da Babies. Both Organized Threat MCs conquered this track and I would love to see these two collab more often.

Soo Bright

Producer, Endure One recently released a track entitled "Shine". This is a beat he released 2 years ago but he finally uploaded it to his Youtube channel. Let him know what you think by contacting him via Twitter @OGT_Endure or leave a comment below. Bringing into thought the title of the track and how it starts off, I can't help but place myself in my bed with the sun shining through my window as this plays as my alarm tone. All my morning activities are currently replying in my mind as this instrumental is playing. And because it is playing I am imagining those activities in a more positive light when in reality they are very difficult to perform due to lack of sleep. So put a positive twist to your treacherous mornings and play Endure One's "Shine".

Many Producers. One Album

This is FiascoTheGod and I am here to provide you with the latest news surrounding the Organized Threat camp. Lets start off with a HUGE announcement.

Many Producers. One Album.

Every single producer from the Organized Threat camp are currently plotting to release a collaboration album in February. Where am I receiving this news from? Thank you for asking and I am glad you are concerned about the authenticity of this news. The news comes straight from Endure One, an OGT producer. He sent me the following tweet, "@FiascoTheGod There's an instrumental album the Organized Threat producers are going to drop early to mid Feb!". Subsequently he DM'd me more details on the album. After chit-chatting for a year about the possibility of an OGT instrumental album, all producers have finally agreed to release one. The album will include two new beats from each producer and although the album is designed for listening purposes, each instrumental will be available for lease. The tape will be released on many websites including datpiff and bandcamp. There are many reasons to be excited about this tape. First, IT'S MUSIC! Talented producers are putting their egos aside and are coming together to design a project. Secondly, IT'S NEW MUSIC! You are receiving two new beats from each producer. This opportunity allows you to get familiar with each producer and if you have a favorite OGT producer then you are GUARANTEED to receive new music from that person. Last, this could provoke the minds of the OGT MCs and have them thinking about creating a collaborative album of their own. Also, many collaborative tracks and/or projects could begin to surface between producer and producer or producer and producer and MC, and many other various combinations as a result of this album. So many great things to look forward to in this album being put together by the Organized Threat producers coming in February. Check out the Organized Threat roster to see all the Organized Threat producers by clicking here.

Somthin' You Got

What attracts you to somebody? Is it something unexplainable? EmptySev, "The Future Within The Future", has released a new track entitled "Somthin' You Got". EmptySev is infatuated with this dream like female. Actually that's exactly what she is. EmptySev wakes up to a dream of an encounter with this dreamy female and it is very fitting that he doesn't have a rational explanation for his infatuation. Occurrences in dreams are very rarely ever rational. EmptySev invites you into his dream with "Somethin' You Got" which can be listened to by clicking here. His album "SEVEN EMPTY" will be released on March 7th.

Reasons To Celebrate

The announcement of an album composed by every OGT producer and the release of a new EmptySev track are reasons to celebrate but, there's more. EmptySev also celebrated his birthday this past weekend! You can view a photo of him with Poetic Death, Razor, THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A., Bonnie Blue, Rics Rumble, and Jasson C by clicking here. Bonnie Blue nearing the completion of her music video is another reason to celebrate! She sent out the following tweet "Just near wrapping my music vid tonight w/ wooooop!". But calm down! That doesn't mean that they are all featured on her track. Maybe some are but they are most likely just making an appearance in the video. Another reason to celebrate is Rics Rumble making Snoop Dogg's "UNDERGROUND HEAT" list coming in at #6 with his video "I'm Broke"! Congratulations! You can view his video on Snoop Dogg's countdown by clicking here and view the video in its entirety by clicking here.

Random Organized Threat Tweet

Today's random Organized Threat tweet comes from Poetic Death. He tweeted, "We'd get there a lot faster if we all went in the same car, but everyones tryin to drive solo. You all buy gas from the same pump #LetsFocus". What I really like about this tweet is that it ties in perfectly with what the Organized Threat producers are currently doing. They are all going "in the same car" and are aimed at being focus on their album being a success.

What More Do You Want From Me?

There is your latest Organized Threat news. I have confidence that I have supplied you with a sufficient amount of news to get you through until Wednesday when the next OGT Weekly will be posted. Consider me, FiascTheGod, your savior.

Monday The 13th. OGT Weekly

It's FiascoTheGod and I am here to supply you with the latest news from the Organized Threat camp.

"F.A.I.T.H"

As a result of you keeping faith that Razor would release his album on January 13, 2014, you have been rewarded. Today Razor released his 18 track album entitled "F.A.I.T.H" which stands for Fully Amplified Intellect Towards Haters. Being that the album was released today and my OGT Weekly is today, it is difficult for me to analyze every track or even form a justifiable opinion on this project. With that being said (or typed) I invite Aster or any one of the Tiffanys to provide their opinion and/or analysis of the album on their OGT Weeklys this week. There are some key things that I would like to mention. The album does start off well but the interlude "Billy Welfare Spoken" provides us with a rest point which then sets up for a viscous one-two punch for tracks 7 & 8. "F.A.I.T.H" and "West Kept Secret" are your two hype tracks as I like to call it. Compared to the other tracks on the album these two are most likely to be played in the car with you friends or maybe at the gym. Although this is true, it is important to note that it does not take away from any other tracks on the album. Each track is what makes the album "F.A.I.T.H". And subsequently after "West Kept Secret" we are hit with a track entitled "Dedicated" which features honest words from Razor, "sometimes I lack the motivation to continue my grind". Razor is quick to say that "he snaps back into reality" due to his mature age but it's hard to ignore the personal truth that may strike some listeners. Personally I do feel that there are times where I lack motivation and the process to snap back into reality is not swift. "A Man's World", which Razor uses as the anthem for hard working males, is the first track on the album and I believe that Razor carries his view of masculinity into his track "Dedication" and so it may be difficult for him to admit that there are days where he can't snap himself back into reality. Again, I haven't had a sufficient amount of time to provide a better insight or analysis on the album but for $10 you have the opportunity to create your own voice and opinion. So click here to purchase the album.

Mad Love Dogg

Snoop Dogg continues to show his love and appreciation towards the Organized Threat members and the music that they are able to create. On Episode 40 of his Underground Heat countdown, Rics Rumble entered at #9 for his video "I'm Broke". You can check out the countdown by clicking here and click here to view "I'm Broke" in it's entirety.

Modest Confidence

It is important to note that tomorrow Gavlyn will release her album "Modest Confidence". She will be having a release party tomorrow at the Whiskey A Go Go in Hollywood, California at 8:00 pm. Click here to purchase your ticket(s).

Birthday Boy

EmptySev is having a birthday bash on January 19th at the Wheelhouse Bar in Hemet, California and doors open at 6 pm. Performances will include Poetic Death, Bonnie Blue, Razor, THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A., MC Sincere and more. Click here to view the official flyer for more info.

MMXIII

Organized Threat producer Faces has released a compilation album entitled "MMXIII". Faces writes, "MMXIII is a complication of the best tracks from my 12 monthly EPs from 2013, [...] The tracklist is planned out to start on a chilled and emotional tone and it phases into more positive vibes until the tone takes a u-turn and darkens and develops a grimier sound. Eventually the album reverts back to it's original calmer style". Even though this is a compilation that features previous work in addition to some new, Faces was still able to recreate a brand new project and feel due to categorizing tracks by sound. He could have easily just threw 20 tracks together and said hey here's my compilation project hope you like it but he didn't and therefore we are more likely to appreciation the mind, effort and music of Faces. My highlight of this compilation would have to be the "13' Till Infinity" track which in total features 4 Organized Threat members. Faces of course produces the track while we vibe out to the poetry of Vida Killz, JG, and Poetic Death. I truly feel that these four have tremendous chemistry and I hope we are able to experience more collaborative music between all four of them. To experience Faces music for yourself and find your favorite track(s) click here to download "MMXIII".

Poetic Death is ready to stir things up in 2014. First, it is important to note that Poetic Death has this idea of dropping a music video every 7th of the month. Poetic Death tweets, "I should drop videos on the 7th of every month because fuck it why not?". If this were to happen, it will be a great experience for the members of Organized Threat as well as the fans to witness. Although I know (I really don't but it's most likely) that the goal for Poetic Death isn't to prove his strenuous work ethic by releasing one music video per month, it will only further justify the argument that he is one of the hardest workers in the game. If he ever decides to change his mind that is perfectly fine. It is just exciting to know that it is a possibility. Von Poe VII is also preparing to release a track that will also contain verses from the MC's 2mex and Fawskie. It doesn't end there as the general is preparing to release a music video tonight at midnight, January 7th. Just in case you don't believe me, here is the Tweet for confirmation. He recently posted a picture on IG that showcased him flexxxing his new grills that we should expect to see in a future video(s). You can view that picture here.

99 Cents

Gavlyn was recently interviewed by Your Friends House. The interview is a very intriguing read and Gavlyn is posed questions ranging from how she got her name, what it meant for her to perform overseas, and many other questions. Here is a sample of the interview when she is asked about her worst show;

"Worst ever show?

The first show I ever put together. It was a spoken word cafe at Cafe Amsterdam in North Hollywood. I was 16, had a 99 cent microphone, the sound was horrible, and nobody could hear anything."

Personally, I enjoyed reading about how she came up with her name and with an array of topics that are covered by answers to questions from Gavlyn herself, it will be almost impossible to not learn something new about her.

Being Lost Sucks!

THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. formulates another thought provoking sound entitled "Lost In Obscurity". I can't begin to stress how important his titles are to his tracks. This title helps set the tone for what you are about to experience. If the title was something completely different such as "Heartbreak" or "Rainbows", we would not be experiencing the same thoughts and feelings that are produced when we read "Lost In Obscurity" and then press play. What is your experience like when the sound travels into your ears and is embedded into your brain? THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. tagged the word "angry" on his Sound Cloud and it's quite possible that is how he truly felt. Being lost in a time where you don't understand something or anything for that matter, would play a factor in my anger as well. You may not feel angry such as he did but press play and leave a comment below or contact THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. via twitter @JustinMuzack to let us know about your experience.

Blue Vida Papa Rumble

Vida Killz is ready to have you guys straight flexxxing in 2014. On Facebook she posted a photo that displays both the front and the back of a T-Shirt that she has planned for release. That photo can be gazed upon by clicking here. She also has buttons for sale for just $2! Check them out here. As a result of the overwhelming support that Papa J. Ruiz has received for his "5:55 AM" mixtape, he will be releasing a track on January 15th entitled "Friends". You can read that tweet along with a heartfelt message composed by the Colorado MC himself by clicking here. On January 25th Rics Rumble will take part in a show at the Airliner in Los Angeles, California, presented by The Cypther Effect. Bonnie Blue will be hosting the downstairs stage at the same event. The flyer is up and can be viewed by clicking here.
