the Organized Threat camp.
There is a lot of news in this edition of the OGT Weekly and
that's really good because that means...a storm is coming...
Papa J. Ruiz + Von Poe VII
Papa J. Ruiz and Von Poe VII have been delivering tons of conent this year and
it doesn't look like they plan to slow down. A recent video published on
the Organized Threat Facebook page prepares you for what is to
come. That's if we can prepare at all. Although both of these artists have
collaborated previously it seems that we may be getting a joint project from the two.
The duo of Von Poe VII and Vida Killz have been my favorite thus far to
come out of Organized Threat and the duo of
Von Poe VII and Papa J. Ruiz have potential to take that spot.

How Did Rellim Get Started In OGT?
After committing the act of a
Simple Youtube search in
2011, Rellim came across OGT.
After watching an interview in 2013 with
Devour (former OGT member), Rellim
Chose to start sending beats to him.
Eventually they collaborated on "Ounce".
Von Poe VII ended up directing that visual
So he heard Rellim's production. After clearing up
The question of if Rellim was strictly Devour's producer,
Rellim subsequently commenced sending beats to
Poe. One of the beats was the second part to "FREDO".
This took place around the time Phora and Eskupe
Were no longer part of OGT and so Poe decided
To replace them with Rellim. Good choice Poe.
After hearing about Organized Threat
Rellim was somewhat interested in
Being a part of the Threat. Due to
The quality of the videos and music
Composed, Rellim thought they were a
Label. Thats not was he was looking for.
After realizing they were all
Independent, Rellim became more
Attracted to the team. Through hardwork
And good timing, Rellim became part of
Organized Threat and is now a proud
Current member.

#BREAKINGNEWS: Starting Januay 2015 Organized Threat will begin the process of their group album. The album is also scheduled for a late 2015/early 2016 release. To prove that I am not lying, I have strategically placed the official tweet below.

#QUICKTHOUGHT: As a fan/listener/follower for Organized Threat looking in from the outside, one thing does concern me about the process of this album. That one thing is the loyalty of members. I'm not questioning the loyalty of anybody right now in the group but, we've seen a fair share of members leave the camp this year. Anything can really happen in a year with any one current member. Goals change. Mindsets change. It happens. Imagine what would happen if the members from the begging of this year all decided to work on the album this year? It would be ruined. But, I am assuming Von Poe VII used his good judgement and does not question the loyalty of the current members of Organized Threat. With that being said, this will be the very first Organized Threat album. The album will mean so much more if everyone who is on the first one is on the last.

When Poe laces up and puts on his grill you know the visual is about to be fire. Even though this is Poe's visual he was able to balance the attention and put the appropriate amount of focus on the dancer Reginald Anthony Webber Jr. The scenes of Webber dancing with the pillars surrounding him, may be the best scenes Chad A. Marshall (Von Poe VII) has ever shot. "Cowboy Bebop" is produced by Ruman and can be located on Von Poe VII's album ONLY GODZ RELATE.
Did You Know This About The Threat?
As I continue to not only be a blogger for Organized Threat but, as a fan as well, I always want to learn more about them. I was able to get in contact with Von Poe VII and have him send me five facts about Organized Threat. Here are 2 of those 5 facts below. The 5th fact was a question I came up with on my own because it's something I've been wondering about. So I crushed my wonder and asked the question. I also urge you to go read the rest of the facts because I also included a lot of dope music by Organized Threat, too.
2. Organized Threat was started in 2006 by Chad A. Marshall and a Spanish teacher from his Highschool, Chad A. Marshall is the only original member still in the camp (if you don’t include the reboot of the group that happened in 2012).
Fact #5 is one that I was personally interested in so I had to make sure I obtained the story behind this fact. A sample of a gentleman saying “Organized Threat is the future” can be found on a couple of OGT tracks. This is how it happened.
5. Von Poe VII said, “the bum sample came from a trip to Vegas while filming “Black Pyramid”. He wanted a cig and I told him only if he said OGT on camera. I felt it was cheesy for an MC in the camp to say it. Kinda bias you know? But a bum on the street? Golden”.

Reality Check
Razor accurately translated the ruthless feeling in the track to the visual with his manifestation of his actions in this visual directed by Chad A. Marshall. This track and more can be found on Razor's album F.A.I.T.H. Although this album is dope, according to Poe, we can expect even better on Razor's next project.
More Music From The Threat
EmptySev dropped a new track entitled "Gas Chamberz". Faces must have really went into a grimey no holds barred mind state to produce this beat. It is currently getting daily rotation in my playlist and it ranks right next to my other favorite track by him "Bloody Sabre".
Jasson C blesses us with his first single "Dolphins (Tom Hanks)" off his upcoming album. We witness a focused (as always) Jasson C on this track who's looking to get awards like Tom Hanks. If you ain't doing it big don't do it at all!
Vida Killz Destructs and Rebuilds in order to take charge and lead in her latest EP Destruction: Rebirth of Self. This is a collaboration effort with producer GRIEF78 and this is their last installment to their trilogy.
Organized Threat has also this Organized Threat Mix series. There have been two volumes released so far. The first one was composed by Rellim and the second by Ruman. Both feature several quality tracks from a few artists from the camp. I really think this is a good way to get someone into Organized Threat. If you know someone who hasn't heard of Organized Threat yet, send them these two mixes. And if you're really friendly, show a random person at your local grocery store.

JG has released a real piece of art in "The Prologue EP". This is his first installment in his Stay Still series. JG says,“The concept for the upcoming Stay Still is that the world has essentially ended. And the tracks take you through the types of people and feelings that someone in a post apocalyptic world would see/feel. But it’s so far removed from the actual event that the event itself lies in some folklore grey area”. What really impresses me about this project is JG's voice and delivery. I don't know how to explain it in a rational matter. His delivery is just smooth and uncracked. Almost like there are no faults. JG really raps his ass off in this project and I honestly think he has potential star power. Click here to listen.
If JG has one role (either MC or producer) I would really like to hear him spit a verse and see how he matches up with the other elite MCs of Organized Threat.

Memento Mori
HELLO OGT FANS AND FANATICS, FRIENDS AND FOES !
Welcome minions, once again to this weekly Wednesday ORGANIZED THREAT update. I'm happy to be with you at this moment, in the many days of our lives, and to be able to relay such coverage on a group that emits such radiance from within a world that constantly attempts to snuff its own flame. There's hardly anything more positive and motivational than watching someone chase and fulfill their dreams, that is until you get in a room full of those someones. For those of you who are wondering how they do it, what F.O.R.M.U.L.A they follow, how they stay afloat in an ocean of diversity; I may have an answer for you. Memento Mori, a message that reminds all of us that one day we will have to die, a message engraved within our times' ticking clock. A reminder that we were given this one and only life and damnit we better make something of it. A reminder that every second counts, and that even if you tried you couldn't waste a minute. Because you humans, actions are your forte', the only difference between the successful and the unsuccessful is a man made state of mind. Though we are encapsulated by our own rigorous personal discovery concerning the matter, its always nice to be able to reference a sound paradigm like that of ORGANIZED THREAT.

As promised, Von Poe VII has dropped a visual for "Paradox" which is beautifully produced by Rellim. Although "Paradox" can elicit the feelings of laid back, calm, and chill, through it's SOUND, the lyrics if listened to carefully over and over again you can sense at times a heartless and frustrated Von Poe VII. That in itself is indeed a paradox. Sound vs context of lyrics. The part of the hook when Von Poe VII spits "Searching for the fame got me lost inside the game" can also be seen as a paradox. Looking at the rap game today, some rappers who lack heart and creativity seem to be the ones being famous. Why is it difficult for Von Poe VII to reach fame when he is one of the MC's/poets who have heart and creativity? (Not implying that's all that it takes to become famous). The rap game is a paradox. Von Poe VII does not seem to stress this as he turns to celebrate life and death in his visual. Yes, there is another paradox. "My circle getting smaller as my life goes on" - Von Poe VII, City After Hours
This line spit by Von Poe VII on his latest album ONLY GODZ RELATE had me thinking about my own circle. In contrast, my "circle" has actually grew within the past year. In a way it is a surprising way for me to admit this due to my playlist being filled with Hip hop songs and I am sure everyone of those MCs in my playlist have said that their group of friends diminished over time. This is not to say that because a lot of MCs have said this before, that it takes away the value of the line nor the credibility that Von Poe VII has as a poet. So the fact that I have listened to such words time and time again, I would think that my life would resemble that part of being a MC. Because lets be honest, some fans want to live like their favorite music artist(s) in at least one way. Not that it would make sense for me to consciously push people away in order for me to hold together the faction of me and my two other friends but, perhaps in an unconscious way. Unconsciously me wanting to live one way or another like a Hip hop MC. I'm very pleased to realize that my "circle" has grown over the past year. These people have supplied me with intriguing conversations and countless laughs. I have yet to go through a hardship over the past year but, if I do, I have a good feeling that they will be there. Having a small group of friends does not seem to be for me.

Yarah Bravo and Vida Killz are on the verge of releasing new projects. Yarah Bravo's EP entitled Love Is The Movement is scheduled to be released tomorrow and she released a teaser for it which can be viewed by clicking here. Vida Killz is currently working on her LP entitled Daydreams And Nightmares and that is scheduled for a June 2014 release. She has released a snippet for one of those tracks on the album entitled Remember. Click here to listen to the 16 second snippet.

THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. has composed and released a new sound that he calls It's On... When I read the title I am confronted with the thoughts of fighting and aggressiveness. THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. throws me off balance when the sound is actually played. Of course I didn't expect for him to come out with an aggressive sound, he seems like a very peaceful guy. But, if you (THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A.) ever have that moment when you need to let out some aggression, through music, go for it!!! Can You Handle The Knowledge?
It's been a week since VON POE VII released ONLY GODZ RELATE. Unsurprisingly people are still talking about it on social media, and I learn something new with each listen, whether that be a historical fact or a line I didn't previously catch.
In order to survive in the Hip-hop environment, you have to keep up with the current sound. And when an artist does this, it is very important the he or she does not compromise their lyrics and subject matter. Matching the current sound of Hip-hop is not something I would see Poetic Death worry about. And I am sure he didn't worry about it while creating this project because he has stated many times before that he creates music only for himself. If matching the current sound of Hip-hop was a concern to him, then cool, I don't blame him. But, I guess if he was concerned about matching the current sound of Hip-hop that doesn't necessarily mean that he didn't create that song for himself. And what is the current sound of Hip-hop? Dammit I just got a headache. I'll say that trap beats are one of the current sounds of Hip-hop. The whole point of this was for me to surface to attention the track Styles and Ranks on ONLY GODZ RELATE. The sound of this track as well as new flow from the God was definitely new to VON POE VII listeners. When I listened to it for the first, second, and beyond times, one thought came to my mind. If there is one track on this album that I would have to present to somebody to make them want to listen to more of him, it would be Styles And Ranks (if there two others it would have to be THE VILLAIN and The Reign of VII). Why would I have them listen to Styles And Ranks? Well there is just that thought in my head that having them listen to one of his more poetic, dark, and complex sounding sounds, would be a fail to make them intrigued in more of his poetry/music. There has been a resurgence of demand from fans to want organic and complex lyricism in Hip-hop but damn, I just don't think they are ready for VON POE VII. I don't want to gas him up or seem like a fanboy that won't hop off his nuts but damn, it's just my honest opinion. Compare the knowledge and mythical references that Poetic Death makes to some of the biggest names in Hip-hop right now. No one comes close.
So what was the point of all of that? I don't know. It's just something that is on my mind while composing this blog. Maybe I'll look at this tomorrow and think that what I wrote is completely garbage or maybe my beliefs that I just stated will change. Maybe Poetic Death and others in Organized Threat will disagree with everything I just typed. And I'm okay with that, too.

For those of you that have your Spring break coming to an end, I am a glad to have it concluded with my latest OGT Weekly as well as my interview with EmptySev. After you take a second and third look at the blog in order to absorb my thoughts and the latest OGT news, consider me, FiascoTheGod, your savior.

4. Taking a close look at the coverart for this album, I noticed three 7’s in art. The first two are more obvious than the third. The position in which the female is holding the two swords, forms two 7’s. The third 7 which may not be so clear to point out is the way the female is positioned kneeling on the floor. Looking at her upside down, is the third 7. How does the depiction in the artwork properly represent the album that is Seven Empty?
Bro, that album cover holds some history. A couple years ago the homie started doing some modeling and would post her pictures up every once in a while, she had this one picture that was like the dopest shit to me. I meant to ask her if I could use it as artwork for a track I was gonna upload but always forgot to. Now a couple months ago we were just kickin it and I randomly just remembered she used to model and had a picture I liked, so she came over, we searched her laptop for that bitch, I found it, and that was that. I didn't know back then why I liked it so much but now it makes perfect sense, I'm so glad I didn't use it for a fuckin single. haha to be honest I never noticed that 3rd 7 you found, kudos to you. I usually just write 2 sevens on everything since the Sev in EmptySev is short for Seven and serves as the 3rd. so yea, I never looked past the two sword 7's. As far as what it represents, well, when you look it at the cover the first thing you'll probably notice is the light taking over most of the image, I like to think of this album as my first official "enlightened" manifesto. Followed by the naked girl sitting there quite peacefully, representing purity and naturalism. Then you have the swords, I've always been drawn to swords. They give the girl a sense of power, that edge that says "Don't fuck with me though" haha, you know? It sets the perfect mood for whatever I wanna say on this album.

The Before and After
HELLO OGT FANS AND FANATICS, FRIENDS AND FOES !
Welcome my minions, once again to this weeks' Wednesday OGT weekly addition drenched in everything ORGANIZED THREAT! Its also my pleasure to continue with you past a crucial moment in times turning pages: the release of VONPOEVII'S #ONLYGODZRELATE. We have left the before and finally transcended the after, little ones. Can you feel planets dis-aligning?! Do you feel the blood under your skin starting to boil? Do you feel reality start to peel away like wallpaper? Do you feel yourself starting to turn into a wolf? or perhaps, wolf-ette? If so, GOOD, keep listening. Fully loaded with 30 tracks of blood, sweat and poetry, I find it hard to refer to the project as an 'album' because the simple definition doesn't even come close to doing justice to such a natural display of expression. To describe it as anything essentially confines it; a definition is easy to settle for but it also limits other possible avenues of interpretation. For example, an apple is usually an apple. But it can also be a form of pipe, weapon, and in some instances a bribe. The beauty of art and other aspects of life, I believe, is not held solely within the intent of the creator, but also within the beholder's individual interpretation. The beauty of art is within its boundlessness, and I believe #ONLYGODZRELATE is an exemplary paradigm of this. I am more than honored to have contributed to VONPOEVII'S project and if you haven't seen yet; get ready to strip off ya britches! ONLY GODZ RELATE 4/14/2014
This is FiascoTheGod and I am here to provide the latest Organized Threat scoop.
ONLY GODZ RELATE IS HERE!!!
Well...where do I start? I should start off by stating that I have listened to ONLY GODZ RELATE by VON POE VII/Poetic Death. Although I have done this, I only listened to each song once. For me to proceed by analyzing this album or letting you know my favorite tracks, would be disrespectful. You may think I am being lazy but, am I really? This guy just put in work for the past several months and you expect me to go in depth on a 30 track album? No. It's not going to happen. There are still a few things I would like to shed light on even though I won't be able to go in depth about them. Poetic Death is known to inject historical information in his poetry and indeed he does so in this album, it is very noticeable on the track Road To Kemet where he and the features on the track shed light on the history of Ancient Africans. Not only does VON POE VII aim to assists with bringing knowledge to the forefront of Hip-hop, but he also utilizes an element in Hip-hop that could be argued has been lost. That element is DJ'ing. DJ Starchild provided the cuts on ONLY GODZ RELATE. VON POE VII says that ONLY GODZ RELATE "marks the next chapter to the introduction of Goth Hop / Sludge Hop, a combination of morbid poetry mixed with a desire and strive for a higher level of consciousness and overstanding". I was trying to keep the interview I set up with EmptySev, a secret from my Street Khemistry team. I was keeping it a secret just for the simple fact I wanted it to be a surprise. EmptySev ruined that with this tweet!! "Tried typing up answers for this interview w/ @StreetKhemistry on my phone and my hand got numb as fuck. Haha I'll do it on the PC tomorrow". The interview will focus on his upcoming album SEVENEMPTY and I know the questions that I composed will force EmptySev to provide new and intriguing information not only on the album, but on himself. The album is scheduled to be released on May 3rd.

Support The Threat
This is FiascoTheGod and I am here to supply you with the latest Organized Threat scoop.
Instead of opening up with a lengthy introduction I have decided to get straight to the news. I will challenge myself as a writer to go more in depth with the following two new Organized Threat tracks.
Wushu Wushu / Happy Birthday Ruman
EmptySev releases a new track entitled Wushu Style, which features Masta Peace and it is produced by Ruman. It is also Ruman's birthday today! Happy Birthday! I did some brief research on what Wushu is and it is a Chinese fighting style. Of course, looking at the cover art chosen by EmptySev to represent this tack should have led me to believe that it had to do with a fighting style. EmptySev opens the track with the following lines "Every man for them self, huh? / That's what they say / Got you caught up in a phase that's gonna last til end of days / too stubborn, to recognize we're all the same particle / I'm part the God you working for, no Yeezy on the HOVAboard / I'm gliding on my jiggy shit." These lines are not only what EmptySev believes in, but it is what Organized Threat stands for. Coincidentally that is exactly the first line on homepage of their (Organized Threat) website, "The Movement Is Strong Because We Are Constructed Of Motivated Minds And Seek Unity Amongst Everything Else". EmptySev's utilization of the binary oppositions, Unity and Separation, is a thought provoking introduction to Wushu Style.
The Perfect Instrumental
THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. releases a brand new sound that he entitles I'm Not Perfect... There are times when I ponder the question of what it means to be perfect. Without a doubt THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A.'s new sound has allowed me to revisit that question. As human beings, and still not fully aware of our mind and bodies full potential, maybe what we are in the present, is perfect. Maybe the way I am now is perfect, with the potential to get better. That is to say, what I know now, how my body is now, is indeed perfect even though I do not know everything there is to now nor do I have "24 inch pythons" like Hulk Hogan used to have (it was 24, right?). So even though there I have the potential to increase my knowledge and improve myself physically, (which I am currently working on), the way I am now is perfect. And I am not trying to sound corny, because what I just typed reads similar to the phrase "you are perfect just the way you are". Honestly, maybe we are perfect just the way we are at this present state, but, we can reach another level of perfection, with motivation and determination. There are levels of perfection to this ish.
