Don't fret, the threat is here

Hey! I almost forgot that California is an hour behind me (in Arizona), so when the clock struck midnight on my end, while I was still writing up the post, I was a little worried that I didn't make my Friday deadline. Hahaha. But, it's still Friday there and I'm in the green zone. Yayer! Let's get right into it.

POETIC DEATH: Tonight, Poe posted up a picture of he and R.A. The Rugged Man while on the set of R.A.'s new video. "Mad dope conversations, you might even see a familiar face in it," said Poe. Take a look!

Also, Poe will be shooting the music video for "Perris Blvd.", a poignant song dedicated to four high school kids that lost their lives in a car crash. If you live in Perris and want to get involved, make sure you hit Poe up on Facebook or something so he can give you the finer details! Check the message.

GAVLYN: Before heading out to Europe on her Modest Confidence tour, Gavlyn pulled an AintNobodyCool "Brrr" ski mask over her face and said, "peace out, guys!". Her first show was in Grenoble, France, and she posted a photo of her lively crowd here. Make sure you like Gav on Facebook to keep up with her on tour. Hit up a show if you're out that way, too! BUY HER ALBUM!

VIDA KILLZ: Since posting about her first single "Remnants of Death" earlier this month, Vida released her anticipated EP yesterday, titled Phantom Loose Leaves. As her second collaborative project with producer Self Destruct, this 4-track album is described as an ode to thoughts that haunt Vida while she attemps to exist. The beats are mellow, with a little bit of an eerie feeling... deep, melancholy strings, punchy drums, and hollow piano notes set the backdrop for her powerfully poetic spoken word. Through feelings of worry, sorrow, fear, hunger, and the desire to spread positive energy, we find Vida flipping through old pages of her life and wandering through her mind's thoughts where she's searching for self, for love, for truth, and for peace. Though it's short in time (under 10 minutes), it's a really good project. Stream and download the EP for free or for a pay-what-you-want price.

YARAH BRAVO: Last week, Yarah Bravo recorded a brand new track with Lady Leshurr, Freestyle (from The Arsonists) and La Method, and she shared the song a couple of days ago! "Ça tabasse" is a groovy, hard-hitting track that you don't want to overlook, so go stream it over at Bandcamp as soon as possible (and download the maxi single for free!). Our Yarah is on the third verse, and she spits so damn fast... GET 'EM, GIRL! Breath control like whoa. The beat is dope and everybody was so ill on this track. I've listened to it so many times tonight. FIRE! Count me in as someone that wants to see a video of this!

RAZOR: As we break in February, Razor's F.A.I.T.H. tour continues! Check this flyer to see the dates and locations. Grab his album, hit up a show, and get live with him!

THE PRODUCERS: As FiascoTheGod has stated before, the OgT producers have teamed up to release an instrumental project. The cover art has been posted (view here), so look out for Threatstrumentals soon!

FEGGY MIN: Feggy posted a photo of her, Sara Fleur, and Gavlyn kickin' it in a store (see here). Along with it, she said, "Fuuuun times with my lovies Sara Fleur and Gavlyn! It feels so good to have my girl GAVLYN back in Europe! It's already her 4th Europe Tour and I am so damn proud of her! You should definitely check out her new album "Modest Confidence"! Gonna work on so many BIG projects with my sis, totally time for a TAKEOVER!"

Latest art pieces include Kendrick Lamar eating a not-so-little hamburger, and Jay Park in a popsicle wonderland, surrounded by a white wolf, little green aliens, spooky bunnies, and cute creatures.

------------------------------

That's about it for tonight.
Have a fun weekend!
I hope you all wake up to a beautiful February morning.

OGT Weekly 1/27/2014

It's FiascoTheGod and I am here to supply you with the latest happenings within the Organized Threat camp.

10K

Poetic Death has finally reached 10,000 likes on Facebook! Congrats! If you haven't liked his page yet click here to do so. Keeping his word of planning to release a music video on the 7th of every month, this year, Poetic Death reminds us. He posted on Facebook, "Going to be dropping a new video on the 7th of next month. Thank you all again for helping me reach the ears of 10,000+ people here on Facebook, it means a lot for real. Let's get it folks, next goal is 50,000+". If you missed his January 7th music video for "THE VILLAIN", click here to watch it.

Poetic Death, Papa J. Ruiz, and JMega The God will be on Soul Assassins Radio on Shade 45 at 7 pm PST / 10 pm EST. Check out the flyer here.

Hex

Rics Rumble and Jasson C were featured on a track entitled "Hex These Haters". It is produced by Eat Da Babies. Rics Rumble effortlessly switches from rapid spit fire to an on tempo flow with the flick of a switch while Jasson C flows naturally over this hard hitting production by Eat Da Babies. Both Organized Threat MCs conquered this track and I would love to see these two collab more often.

Soo Bright

Producer, Endure One recently released a track entitled "Shine". This is a beat he released 2 years ago but he finally uploaded it to his Youtube channel. Let him know what you think by contacting him via Twitter @OGT_Endure or leave a comment below. Bringing into thought the title of the track and how it starts off, I can't help but place myself in my bed with the sun shining through my window as this plays as my alarm tone. All my morning activities are currently replying in my mind as this instrumental is playing. And because it is playing I am imagining those activities in a more positive light when in reality they are very difficult to perform due to lack of sleep. So put a positive twist to your treacherous mornings and play Endure One's "Shine".

Don't Fourget

Video: Bonnie Blue "Bonnie Blue"
Album: Gavlyn "Modest Confidence"
Video: Jasson C "747s"
Album: Razor "F.A.I.T.H"

And That's A Wrap

There is your Organized Threat scoop for today. So don't forget to tune in this Thursday to hear Poetic Death, Papa J. Ruiz, and JMega The God on Soul Assassins Radio on Shade 45 at 7 pm PST / 10 pm EST. Also, check out the "Don't Fourget" portion of this blog to check out any previous work that you may have missed from the talented artists of Organized Threat. Until next time, consider me, FiascoTheGod, your savior.

Do you know who I am?

Hello! It's sort of been a busy week, but I'm so ready to unwind. I'll be in relax mode tonight, kind of. My plans will include making and eating pizza, watching a movie, listening to music, and continue to work on our next magazine issue into the late night/early morning hours. YEP. That's it! So, before I get into all of that, here is what's been up with some of the camp.

BONNIE BLUE: Early this morning (at midnight), Bonnie Blue released her debut music video for a track from her forthcoming album All Things Considered. Heck yeah, visuals! For a little over a minute, the self-titled song and video finds Bonnie spitting a raw piece about who she is and the love she has to keep pushing forward, past any adversity that may come her way. The black-and-white visual breaks into color and the head-nodding, King Al-produced beat (cuts by Spok Beats) comes through, while Bonnie keeps kickin' knowledge of what she's about. Dope track! "Do you know who I am?" BONNIE BLUE! Cameos from Poetic Death and Rics Rumble, too. Watch here or in the mini player below.

GAVLYN: Before embarking on another European tour (January 30th through February 22nd), Gavlyn will be doing a show in Los Angeles tomorrow (Saturday, Januar 25th) at the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club. It will be a hip hop vs rock show, with live performances from Gavlyn, Planet Asia, Killah Priest, All Else Fails, Rebellion Warfare, and others. This is an all ages event, and the price is $20 pre-sale or $25 at the door. Check out the the flyer for more information.

Another interview surfaced--and I'm sure more will soon come flowing in considering the release of her newest album (get it from several online retailers, if you haven't!). Gav met with the people of DaftStar to perform her song "Modest Confidence" and get interviewed. She talks about Organized Threat, her drive as an emcee, inspirations, performing, releasing Modest Confidence, and much more. Check out the video below, or watch it directly on Youtube.

Last but not least, Feggy Min designed another art piece for Gavlyn, where her head is on Minnie Mouse's body, with a mouse-ear beanie that says, "Being Cute And Shit". All pink everything. You may see it on a shirt some day, too.

JMEGA: Brand new song posted up on Youtube by JMega, called "Written In Steel". Produced by Aquarius Minded, the dusty drum beat finds the emcee spitting heavy lyrics while loading his gun, preparing for war, and getting ready to fight for his own . Listen here.

SOULCAT E-PHIFE: ... and she's back on the scene! Soulcat dropped a free 7-track mixtape yesterday, called My Fav Beatz. It is a collection of tracks from a limited edition tape called Street Soul Tape 1, which can be purchased from her at shows, or right here for €5 (or $6.84 USD). The My Fav Beatz mixtape finds her rapping roughly over random beats by Dilla, Nick Wiz, 9th Wonder, and DJ Slow. Stream and download for free at the pay-what-you-want price. She also mentioned that she'll be performing alongside MC Melodee on February 21st, so stay tuned to her page for more information as the date comes closer.

FEGGY MIN: I don't know about you, but I am always curious to what an artist's work space and surroundings look like. Feggy has recently posted a couple of photos to show people her desk area and one wall in the basement of her house. Of course there are loads of art prints and Feggy Min clothing laying around, but you'll also find books, albums, an array of drawing utensils, paint, and cutesy things near by. See here and here. Also, if you've been keeping up with her Facebook page, you've been seeing new art designs and new apparel designs with Russian lettering (see here).

SOMETHING EXTRA: You remember the music video for "For The Moment," right?! You better! Anyway, I don't know if this has always been available to download, but I just saw that you can grab that dope posse track for FREE. Produced by Figub Brazlevic, it features Poetic Death, Gavlyn, Yarah Bravo, and SoulCat E-Phife. Download at Soundcloud!

Have a good weekend!
Live well, and be nice to each other.
Much love,

Wednesday Weekly Update

HELLO OGT FANS AND FANATICS, FRIENDS AND FOES !

What a beautiful week it has been for me, here in the valley, as I hope it has been for you all near and far. Spring semester classes have finally rolled round here at CSUN, like many other institutions, as the holidays fade and the decorations are stowed away until next season. If you're a student, like I am (and forever will be), I know you feel me when I say the first week of the semester is usually the most annoying. I'm talking about extremely long lines, parking nightmares, sleep adjustment, unfamiliar faces, textbooks that nearly cost a fortune, and a long awaited return after your hiatus from discipline.  Discipline plays a key role in the students' toolkit. That being said, I can understand how the transition could cause a bit of unwarranted stress on the body as well as the mental. As a student, I know this stress very well. However, there is a brighter side to all this. There is a free, easy, and efficient way of relieving yourself of this stress. AND nymphs and nymphets, its as easy as click-click-click, sick back, and relax! Any ideas on what it could be? That's right, Simply listening to music does the trick. A strategical way to go about it would be to chose music you can relate to emotionally, for example try listening to music that elicits a emotional responses, whether they be happy, sad, or angry. The point is that their expressive. A phenomenal spoken-word song that helps me elicit an emotional response out of myself, and that I relate to in many different ways is called 'Lend Me Your Ear'. Written by VIDA KILLZ, this spoken word gives her audience a glimpse into her real of love, and the wonderful ideas which form it.

#BREAKINGNEWS: The spoken-word, as well as a beautifully expressive video to accompany it, was just released today. If you haven't peeped it, I recommend that you do so below. And regardless if ya'll be students or not, we've all been in a similar situation. We all have the capacity to appreciate something as beautiful as raw poetry, that of which is relaxing not only for the bones but for the flesh as well. So give yourself 5 minutes, meditate and appreciate this poetry produced by miss VIDA KILLZ. You are all welcome, freaks and geeks alike. Follow the little tweety below for more information.
#STAYTUNED: Tonight, freaks and geeks, our very own BONNIE BLUE will be interviewed live at 8PM by Huskey Radio. Also recently joining the ranks of the CrappyAwesome podcast, BONNIE BLUE seems to have a busy year ahead of her with such promising projects and publicity. Tune in this evening at 8PM and get to know BONNIE BLUE a bit better. Follow the little tweety below, and stay tuned for more BONNIE BLUE in OGT news.
#RESPECT: RAZOR recently announced that he will be putting together a show next month in honor of 'Black History'. Follow the little tweety below for more information on how to get involved with this event! Make some time to come pay respects with your OGT family!

Many Producers. One Album

This is FiascoTheGod and I am here to provide you with the latest news surrounding the Organized Threat camp. Lets start off with a HUGE announcement.

Many Producers. One Album.

Every single producer from the Organized Threat camp are currently plotting to release a collaboration album in February. Where am I receiving this news from? Thank you for asking and I am glad you are concerned about the authenticity of this news. The news comes straight from Endure One, an OGT producer. He sent me the following tweet, "@FiascoTheGod There's an instrumental album the Organized Threat producers are going to drop early to mid Feb!". Subsequently he DM'd me more details on the album. After chit-chatting for a year about the possibility of an OGT instrumental album, all producers have finally agreed to release one. The album will include two new beats from each producer and although the album is designed for listening purposes, each instrumental will be available for lease. The tape will be released on many websites including datpiff and bandcamp. There are many reasons to be excited about this tape. First, IT'S MUSIC! Talented producers are putting their egos aside and are coming together to design a project. Secondly, IT'S NEW MUSIC! You are receiving two new beats from each producer. This opportunity allows you to get familiar with each producer and if you have a favorite OGT producer then you are GUARANTEED to receive new music from that person. Last, this could provoke the minds of the OGT MCs and have them thinking about creating a collaborative album of their own. Also, many collaborative tracks and/or projects could begin to surface between producer and producer or producer and producer and MC, and many other various combinations as a result of this album. So many great things to look forward to in this album being put together by the Organized Threat producers coming in February. Check out the Organized Threat roster to see all the Organized Threat producers by clicking here.

Somthin' You Got

What attracts you to somebody? Is it something unexplainable? EmptySev, "The Future Within The Future", has released a new track entitled "Somthin' You Got". EmptySev is infatuated with this dream like female. Actually that's exactly what she is. EmptySev wakes up to a dream of an encounter with this dreamy female and it is very fitting that he doesn't have a rational explanation for his infatuation. Occurrences in dreams are very rarely ever rational. EmptySev invites you into his dream with "Somethin' You Got" which can be listened to by clicking here. His album "SEVEN EMPTY" will be released on March 7th.

Reasons To Celebrate

The announcement of an album composed by every OGT producer and the release of a new EmptySev track are reasons to celebrate but, there's more. EmptySev also celebrated his birthday this past weekend! You can view a photo of him with Poetic Death, Razor, THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A., Bonnie Blue, Rics Rumble, and Jasson C by clicking here. Bonnie Blue nearing the completion of her music video is another reason to celebrate! She sent out the following tweet "Just near wrapping my music vid tonight w/ wooooop!". But calm down! That doesn't mean that they are all featured on her track. Maybe some are but they are most likely just making an appearance in the video. Another reason to celebrate is Rics Rumble making Snoop Dogg's "UNDERGROUND HEAT" list coming in at #6 with his video "I'm Broke"! Congratulations! You can view his video on Snoop Dogg's countdown by clicking here and view the video in its entirety by clicking here.

Random Organized Threat Tweet

Today's random Organized Threat tweet comes from Poetic Death. He tweeted, "We'd get there a lot faster if we all went in the same car, but everyones tryin to drive solo. You all buy gas from the same pump #LetsFocus". What I really like about this tweet is that it ties in perfectly with what the Organized Threat producers are currently doing. They are all going "in the same car" and are aimed at being focus on their album being a success.

What More Do You Want From Me?

There is your latest Organized Threat news. I have confidence that I have supplied you with a sufficient amount of news to get you through until Wednesday when the next OGT Weekly will be posted. Consider me, FiascTheGod, your savior.

OgT Take Over

You know what's dope about the Organized Threat camp? Not only do they work hard, aim high in their crafts, create quality work, have an amazing comradery, and support each other through every endeavor that comes along... but they are ALWAYS doing something with their time. There is always an event/show popping off, a new song posted, interviews surfacing, photos of the collective hanging out with one another and/or other inspiring individuals, incredible reviews, new merch ready to be swooped up, work-in-progress pieces where they ask for feedback, music videos, etc. There isn't one person who is just sleeping on the job and not striving to make the best life for themselves. We here are OgT Weekly write every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and there hasn't been a single entry that has been bare in content. The year has barely begun and it's already proving to be incredibly productive. So wonderful! Anyway, I'm about to go make some bomb turkey burgers, but before I do... here's what these people have been up to.

GAVLYN: Fresh off of her third album release, Modest Confidence, a new interview with Gavlyn surfaced yesterday. She recently spoke with Fern of the Your Friends House blog and shared stories of how she came up with her alias, how her perspective has changed from when she first got involved in music to where she's at now, performing throughout Europe, her desire to be more personal and share real life stories in her music, and much more. READ HERE. Also, be sure to buy her new album on iTunes, or you can get CDs, posters, and buttons on her website or at Broken Complex.

Not only that, but Gavlyn was the latest guest on Dumbfoundead's Hot Box series where he sits with someone in his car, it's all smoked out, and he interviews them. Episode 51 finds Gavlyn speaking on her growing fan base, touring, her new album, what's to come, and she spits a verse at the end. WATCH HERE (or below).

VIDA KILLZ: Yesterday, Vida dropped a new video. Serving as the 7th installment of her live performance series, this one finds her performing "Amare," featuring Self Destruct, at the Wherehouse? in San Jose, California. Shot and co-produced by Sol Fern Fotographia. WATCH HERE (or below).

EMPTYSEV: Sev dropped some exciting news via Facebook early this morning. His forthcoming album titled Seven Empty now has a release date--you can expect it on March 7th (that's a Friday, which means I'll be writing about it, yayuh!).

Also, while FiascoTheGod mentioned it on Monday, don't forget that EmptySev's official birthday bash party is this SUNDAY, January 19th. It's only $5 to get in and it's ALL AGES, so be sure to hit up the Wheelhouse Bar at 6pm to catch live performances by Poetic Death, Bonnie Blue, Razor, THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A., MC Sincere, and several others. DJ Starchild will also be on the 'tables. It's going to be a dope OgT gathering, so make sure you attend and celebrate with Sev! Check the flyer here for more information.

JASSON C: A few days ago, Jasson announced that he will be at SXSW this year. If you'll be there, you should swing through Spiderhouse on March 13th and 14th for that live performance. He followed that exciting news with: ""The Lymbo Ascent Project" (#LAProject) is underway. And more visuals to come as well as the skits off "Waiting Room". 2014 is looking up!"

THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A.: The producer dropped a remix of Blu and Exile's "Soul Provider" on his Soundcloud today. He brought out a more soothing side by stripping away the high-pitched vocal cuts and scratching, and instead slowed down the boom bap drums a little, and laced it with what sounds like a looped harmonica (or some kind of reed instrument). It's a good-feeling vibe that doesn't take away from the original too much. STREAM/DOWNLOAD.

FEGGY MIN: As always, this talented lady has been posting up new works and progress shots. Last week, she posted up an illustration of NYane Lebajoa (view here). Then, drawing with only pencils and black markers, she combined her past style of realistic portraits with her current art style to produce three new drawings (view here). She followed those up with another one of a sad Miura Haruma (view here), and it's quite lovely, too. And last, she dropped another new piece, this time it features Eminem (view here) in "God Bless The Holy Donut!"

SARA FLEUR: Sara has posted up some new photos on her Facebook page. This is to showcase a new Simon Desue beanie, called "DESUE". You can find it here. Also, let's end this post with a picture of Sara and Feggy together, lookin' super fly (view here).

All right, that's it. I hope everyone attending and performing at Razor's album release party tonight are having a blast! And, if you haven't yet, go buy his new album F.A.I.T.H.!

Have an amazing three day weekend.
Peace and blessings to you all.
Love is the way.

Building 'The Legacy'

HELLO OGT FANS AND FANATICS, FRIENDS AND FOES!

This week, like every other week, has been very promising for the OGT family. To tell you a little about my schedule the past five days - I assisted in the production of BONNIE BLUE'S latest music video 'Who I Am', did some Olympic style trampoline jumping with VONPOEVII [the flying squirrel] & RICS RUMBLE [the back-flipping fool], assisted in the production of a commercial promoting JMEGA THE GOD's fresh vinyls, and lastly, I rocked out at GAVLYN'S album release party for Modest Confidence. Not a minute goes by that the grind be stoppin'. From an outsider's perspective, its entertaining to watch the camps cultivation of inter-connectivity, and to watch The Legacy that's perpetually being built in front of my eyes practically every weekend. Its a particularly special experience for me because all and any traces of a legacy that I left behind in my hometown have deteriorated and my life there has virtually ended. Friendships have broken down and rotted away, some dissipating unwillingly and some I said farewell to by choice. Thank higher powers for my friends who got out and my family who made what I call home, but life seems mighty bleak for those who chose to stay with nothing to live for. Everyone I know has let themselves get dragged through the mud one way or another, continuously producing more numbers for a system that's already broke down a long time ago. I've always been taught that If you can't at least identify your own passion and dreams, you'll get sucked into helping someone else identify a manifest theirs'. These seems like common-sense knowledge but I beg to differ. It's really only a common sense concept if one's perceived it before, and this is a concept better theorized about than understood. Big brother is real nymphs and nymphettes, polymorphic and constantly waiting to snatch what is rightfully yours. My point being; the Legacy being built by Organized Threat is hard to ignore and a good example of what to do ---> identify your passion and start building your legacy before someone else does it for you.

///////////////Here's a few shots of the GENERAL himself with RICS RUMBLE and EAT-DA-BABIES out and about in the daily motions///////////////

Monday The 13th. OGT Weekly

It's FiascoTheGod and I am here to supply you with the latest news from the Organized Threat camp.

"F.A.I.T.H"

As a result of you keeping faith that Razor would release his album on January 13, 2014, you have been rewarded. Today Razor released his 18 track album entitled "F.A.I.T.H" which stands for Fully Amplified Intellect Towards Haters. Being that the album was released today and my OGT Weekly is today, it is difficult for me to analyze every track or even form a justifiable opinion on this project. With that being said (or typed) I invite Aster or any one of the Tiffanys to provide their opinion and/or analysis of the album on their OGT Weeklys this week. There are some key things that I would like to mention. The album does start off well but the interlude "Billy Welfare Spoken" provides us with a rest point which then sets up for a viscous one-two punch for tracks 7 & 8. "F.A.I.T.H" and "West Kept Secret" are your two hype tracks as I like to call it. Compared to the other tracks on the album these two are most likely to be played in the car with you friends or maybe at the gym. Although this is true, it is important to note that it does not take away from any other tracks on the album. Each track is what makes the album "F.A.I.T.H". And subsequently after "West Kept Secret" we are hit with a track entitled "Dedicated" which features honest words from Razor, "sometimes I lack the motivation to continue my grind". Razor is quick to say that "he snaps back into reality" due to his mature age but it's hard to ignore the personal truth that may strike some listeners. Personally I do feel that there are times where I lack motivation and the process to snap back into reality is not swift. "A Man's World", which Razor uses as the anthem for hard working males, is the first track on the album and I believe that Razor carries his view of masculinity into his track "Dedication" and so it may be difficult for him to admit that there are days where he can't snap himself back into reality. Again, I haven't had a sufficient amount of time to provide a better insight or analysis on the album but for $10 you have the opportunity to create your own voice and opinion. So click here to purchase the album.

Mad Love Dogg

Snoop Dogg continues to show his love and appreciation towards the Organized Threat members and the music that they are able to create. On Episode 40 of his Underground Heat countdown, Rics Rumble entered at #9 for his video "I'm Broke". You can check out the countdown by clicking here and click here to view "I'm Broke" in it's entirety.

Modest Confidence

It is important to note that tomorrow Gavlyn will release her album "Modest Confidence". She will be having a release party tomorrow at the Whiskey A Go Go in Hollywood, California at 8:00 pm. Click here to purchase your ticket(s).

Birthday Boy

EmptySev is having a birthday bash on January 19th at the Wheelhouse Bar in Hemet, California and doors open at 6 pm. Performances will include Poetic Death, Bonnie Blue, Razor, THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A., MC Sincere and more. Click here to view the official flyer for more info.

MMXIII

Organized Threat producer Faces has released a compilation album entitled "MMXIII". Faces writes, "MMXIII is a complication of the best tracks from my 12 monthly EPs from 2013, [...] The tracklist is planned out to start on a chilled and emotional tone and it phases into more positive vibes until the tone takes a u-turn and darkens and develops a grimier sound. Eventually the album reverts back to it's original calmer style". Even though this is a compilation that features previous work in addition to some new, Faces was still able to recreate a brand new project and feel due to categorizing tracks by sound. He could have easily just threw 20 tracks together and said hey here's my compilation project hope you like it but he didn't and therefore we are more likely to appreciation the mind, effort and music of Faces. My highlight of this compilation would have to be the "13' Till Infinity" track which in total features 4 Organized Threat members. Faces of course produces the track while we vibe out to the poetry of Vida Killz, JG, and Poetic Death. I truly feel that these four have tremendous chemistry and I hope we are able to experience more collaborative music between all four of them. To experience Faces music for yourself and find your favorite track(s) click here to download "MMXIII".

Hello Hi Hey

Good evening, OgT lovers! How are you all doing? I'm doing great--my dog is on the right track to getting better (he was really sick yesterday and I was scared he wasn't going to be OK--thank goodness for veterinarians), I got a lot accomplished, the weather is nice and chilly (60°F right now, and low 40s later tonight), and all is right with the world. I'm gonna get right into it tonight, though, because I have a lot of things to do. Here we go!

POETIC DEATH: Since posting "The Villain" freestyle, The Audible Doctor (the producer of the beat) hit Poe up on Twitter today to let him know that he thought the freestyle was dope. A few back-and-forth tweets later, and they're talking about collaborating! The power of the internet--especially with social sites like Twitter and Facebook--is incredible sometimes. I love that it can bring people together and create such awesome opportunities. I am definitely looking forward to that coming into play, because Poe is a dope spitter and I've been a Audible Doctor fan for awhile (on the mic or behind the beat). Look out for that one, you guys, because they're gonna kill it. Get ready for some audible death! (See what I did there?) Until then, though, make sure you watch and share the video with your friends.

JMEGA: New music video from the True Masterz duo (JMega on the mic + MighGawd on production) for the "Manifesto" single off of their 2012 album, The First Atom. MighGawd drops a head-nodding, boom bap beat with super slick cuts by DJ Grazzhoppa, while JMega kicks raw raps. Dope song. Video directed by Chad aka Poe. WATCH IT, LIKE IT, AND SHARE IT! I wasn't up on TM back in 2012, so if you're in that same position, you should get familiar with their discography over at Bandcamp (they have stuff dating back to 2011). I'll be digging through it, too.

VIDA KILLZ: Yesterday, Vida dropped her first video update of 2014. She talks about her new merch buttons. They are $2 each, but she says that if you order more than one she'll write a haiku about you... so get with that! WATCH HERE! Then, buy a button or two. She will be releasing a video every Thursday, so be sure to subscribe to her on Youtube.

BONNIE BLUE: If you're in San Bernardino, California, or will be in the area tomorrow, make sure you attend the Woman's Art and Music Appreciation Showcase and Benefit. Held at The Office Saloon, your girl Bonnie will be rocking the mic, along with several other talented women in music. There will also be art, live body painting, merch booths, and food from Vegan With Joy. So, if you're 21+, get there between 8pm and 2am... because it sounds like it's going to be a great time. Plus, it's for a good cause. Although it's a free event, any and all funds raised will be donated to a local battered women's shelter. Check out the flyer or the Facebook event for more information.

YARAH BRAVO: My favorite little Captain Love Bubble has been doing the daaaaaayum thang up in London recently. She recently shared the stage with DJ Krush (one of my favorites), DJ Vadim (another favorite), and DJ Cam at KOKOS, and expressed having an amazing time (just look at this picture for evidence). Also, take a look at this throwback photo of she and Krush, and then a brand new one! It's great to see people whom I've been a fan of for several years still kicking it, making good music, and supporting each other. By the way, Yarah is trying to make it out to South America this year. Not only to reconnect with her roots and visit her mom, but to also bless the mic on some stages. If you are a promoter out that way or have any connections, you should hit her up on Facebook!

SARA FLEUR: Sara, the stunning model of the collective, has been posted a couple of new photos this year. The first one finds her beaming with happiness in a DIY crop top of Feggy's A$AP Rocky shirt design. The second photo is a birds-eye-view of her in a pair of dark blue, cut-off jean shorts, and a long sleeve, red crop. Lovely tattoos exposed, too. Make sure you become a fan of her Facebook page or follow her Instagram for updates.

FEGGY MIN: You all better be following Feggy on Twitter and on Facebook, too. She is constantly posting sketches, new works, pictures, and showing love to her fans. Since my last post, she has updated her "한국힙합" (South Korean Hip Hop) album, so take a look through all the work within there. Next up, she has continued in her "candyland" style pieces, adding Iggy Azalea to the bunch--IGGY IN CANDYISLAND. Look at her rocking a cute, bunny-eared, Monster print hat (I still would like to get the Monster sweatshirt!) "I've been really enjoying these "candy, icecream, cake" inspired Artworks lately. Let's make 2014 a Candyland; colorful, sweet and tastyyyy," says Feggy. Also, for the new year, Feggy has set a goal of drawing something every day, so you can look forward to a bunch of new work--whether they're sketches or full paintings. Lastly, for good measure, here's a picture of the artist herself spreading that peace.

That's all for today. Make sure you stay tuned for next week!
Have a blessed weekend!

Playing "The Villain"

HELLO OGT FANS AND FANATICS, FRIENDS AND FOES!

If you're reading this, give yourselves a little pat on the back nymphs and nymphettes; for you have made it through the first week of 2014 & what an exciting and fulfilling week it has been. Straight outta the gate we were blessed with new flesh and blood, in the form of new vocals and visuals from the general himself VON POE VII. Yesterday, with the help of RICS RUMBLE & myself, he released a fresh and exhilarating new sound deemed 'The Villain - This is Murder Not Music' freestyle. I be lucky, for I had the pleasure of assisting in the production and even got the opportunity to make a frisky little cameo. Being in the back-shadows of productions like these so often with so much time to observe and evaluate has led me to really appreciate the quality of work produced by VON POE VII and to appreciate the diligence he maintains. In my experience, I have found that some artists use their voice for the sake of mainstream fame while some artists use their voice for the sake of replication. Some artists do it for the money, some do it for the pussy. My point being, some artists are incredibly easy to understand, because they're doing exactly what everyone else is doing; looking for 15 minutes under that blissful spotlight. With VON POE VII, that's clearly not the case. We are continuously bombarded with authentic and off-the-beaten-path material that forces fans and foes alike to really sit down and listen to what the fuck this work is all about. I doubt anyone would disagree that VON POE VII'S thoughts are filleted for all to relate, a strategy that has allowed him to form a close relationship with his fans. His fans [If I may so boldly speak for them] are kept on their toes and aren't given the opportunity to expect whats coming next. And what a beautiful thing it really is to be left in he dark, ready to be awakened and re-awakened by VON POE VII'S mysterious mental. Ah, I'm rambling again aren't I? Well, you freaks, as eager as i'm sure all of you are - here's 'The Villain - This is Murder Not Music' for your viewing pleasure. Also enjoy the behind-the-scenes snapshots featuring the general himself VON POE VII RICS RUMBLE. Please close your eyes and let your mind do the wondering.

DEVOUR also recently announced that he is high in the running for POWER 106'S 'Who's Next' contest, which features underground artists and gives them a chance to gain exposure - serious exposure. The winner is also awarded some car and some fancy trip, but that's worthless against the valuable exposure given in this opportunity. So get to it fellas and fellattes! Go SUPPORT YOUR OGT FAM! Lets help DEVOUR DOMINATE!!!! Follow the little tweety below for information on how to vote for your favorite artist every 24 hours!

Also in the world of OGT, miss FEGGY MIN has also been featured/reviewed in a recent blog titled 'ohsowai'. Find out why FEGGY is referred to as 'Geniusly Odd/ Oddly Genius'. Follow the little tweety below for a link to the fabulous blog, and indulge yourself in FEGGY MIN!!!
Are you as excited for Friday Jan 17th as I am?! You better be, because nymphs and nymphettes, RAZOR'S album party is going to make one hell of a Friday. With CHIEFMASTA STARCHILD [DJ STARCHILD] on the tables and BONNIE BLUE sharing the mic, the show is already set to be a success. Come out to celebrate the introduction of F.A.I.T.H and the demolition of your feelings. Follow the little tweety below for intricate details/address information!!! Support ya OGT fam!
#FRESHNEWS: Miss VIDA KILLZ's project 'Conversations With You' Part I & II has been named one of Folio Weekly's favorite albums of 2013. Please follow the little tweety below to read the excerpt in Folio Weekly honoring VIDA KILLZ art. I wanted to include a quote, but that would spoil the fun wouldn't it ;) Support ya OGT fam!!!

Untitled 2014

It's FiascoTheGod and I am here to provide you the latest news from the Organized Threat camp.

There's A Science To The Numbers

Poetic Death is ready to stir things up in 2014. First, it is important to note that Poetic Death has this idea of dropping a music video every 7th of the month. Poetic Death tweets, "I should drop videos on the 7th of every month because fuck it why not?". If this were to happen, it will be a great experience for the members of Organized Threat as well as the fans to witness. Although I know (I really don't but it's most likely) that the goal for Poetic Death isn't to prove his strenuous work ethic by releasing one music video per month, it will only further justify the argument that he is one of the hardest workers in the game. If he ever decides to change his mind that is perfectly fine. It is just exciting to know that it is a possibility. Von Poe VII is also preparing to release a track that will also contain verses from the MC's 2mex and Fawskie. It doesn't end there as the general is preparing to release a music video tonight at midnight, January 7th. Just in case you don't believe me, here is the Tweet for confirmation. He recently posted a picture on IG that showcased him flexxxing his new grills that we should expect to see in a future video(s). You can view that picture here.

99 Cents

Gavlyn was recently interviewed by Your Friends House. The interview is a very intriguing read and Gavlyn is posed questions ranging from how she got her name, what it meant for her to perform overseas, and many other questions. Here is a sample of the interview when she is asked about her worst show;

"Worst ever show?

The first show I ever put together. It was a spoken word cafe at Cafe Amsterdam in North Hollywood. I was 16, had a 99 cent microphone, the sound was horrible, and nobody could hear anything."

Personally, I enjoyed reading about how she came up with her name and with an array of topics that are covered by answers to questions from Gavlyn herself, it will be almost impossible to not learn something new about her.

The rest of interview can be seen by clicking here.

Being Lost Sucks!

THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. formulates another thought provoking sound entitled "Lost In Obscurity". I can't begin to stress how important his titles are to his tracks. This title helps set the tone for what you are about to experience. If the title was something completely different such as "Heartbreak" or "Rainbows", we would not be experiencing the same thoughts and feelings that are produced when we read "Lost In Obscurity" and then press play. What is your experience like when the sound travels into your ears and is embedded into your brain? THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. tagged the word "angry" on his Sound Cloud and it's quite possible that is how he truly felt. Being lost in a time where you don't understand something or anything for that matter, would play a factor in my anger as well. You may not feel angry such as he did but press play and leave a comment below or contact THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. via twitter @JustinMuzack to let us know about your experience.

Blue Vida Papa Rumble

Vida Killz is ready to have you guys straight flexxxing in 2014. On Facebook she posted a photo that displays both the front and the back of a T-Shirt that she has planned for release. That photo can be gazed upon by clicking here. She also has buttons for sale for just $2! Check them out here. As a result of the overwhelming support that Papa J. Ruiz has received for his "5:55 AM" mixtape, he will be releasing a track on January 15th entitled "Friends". You can read that tweet along with a heartfelt message composed by the Colorado MC himself by clicking here. On January 25th Rics Rumble will take part in a show at the Airliner in Los Angeles, California, presented by The Cypther Effect. Bonnie Blue will be hosting the downstairs stage at the same event. The flyer is up and can be viewed by clicking here.

And That's That
In case you were still recovering from your New Years Eve party and was not able to keep up with the OGT news over the weekend, consider me, FiascoTheGod, your savior.

First Friday

We're three days into the new year. How are you all doing? Have you been spending it wisely and making the best of it? I sure hope so. Starting today, I (Tiffology) will be taking over Fridays full time. The OgT camp have kicked open the doors and have been hard at work, like always. Here's what's been up lately...

GAVLYN: Gav teamed up producer/singer Soul Scratch to bring you a new song today called "No Reason." I'm loving the beat because it's big, vibrant and extra funky with a great horn section. Gav kicks raps about striving to stay true to self, to never settle, and to keep progressing. Then the buttery-smooth, soulful voice of Soul Scratch comes through... wheewwwwww! I enjoy hearing Gav on a superb tune such as this. Get it, girl! DJ Hoppa on the cuts. Stream it on Youtube, then buy it on iTunes for $0.99! On that note, are you all ready for Modest Confidence on January 17th?!

BONNIE BLUE: Speaking of the vagabond Bon, she dropped a teaser video two days ago where she announced the release date of her debut solo album All Things Considered. THAT'S RIGHT! It's about time, huh? You know you've been anticipating a solo release like I have! While you wait until February, go peep the video and look out for more updates from her!

Side note: You may not remember this, but I'm the co-owner of the website CrayonBeats. Well, last year (2013), we began our very own magazine (digital and physical releases) and we've released four issues so far. This year, we decided to let the public read and download all of our digital issues for free! With that being said, I briefly wrote about Gavlyn and Bonnie Blue in our last issue that featured all women. You'll find them in a spread called "Do The Ladies Run This Motha...?" where I listed several talented ladies that deserve recognition... so, go read/download it, if you wish.

PAPA J: After pushing his album No R3coll3ction on Bandcamp for awhile, Papa J. recently brought it on over to iTunes. So, if your preferred music platform is iTunes, then this is for you! Go show your support and get it there if you haven't grabbed it yet. Also, don't forget to download his most recent mixtape 5:55AM for free.

VIDA KILLZ: Miss Vida announced that she and Self Destruct will be releasing a second collaborative EP, titled Phantom Loose Leaves, due out later this month. She leaked an uplifting track called "Remnants of Death," so go stream it on Youtube. Over melancholy chords and snapping snares, the first half finds a frustrated, yet passionate Vida reflecting back to how earlier, tragic memories have shaped her into an adult who now feels blessed to be alive every day. The second half pieces together quotes from a speech Jobs made to college graduates about death and seeing the positive opportunities from life's setbacks--how one should follow their heart and live life true to self, as if there is no tomorrow. It's a great song, and it has me excited for the rest of the EP.

RICS RUMBLE: Hosts Mr. Arash, C-Rey, and Bonnie Blue welcome Rics on the latest episode (#123) of Crappy Awesome, along with B Side Show co-host Wackoe. They all look back on 2013 to discuss the hip hop scene--such as who has made the "most noise," the lack of respect for the art and history of hip hop, social media being a main component of propelling a new artist's career (versus the hard work that went into getting yourself out there before social networking), and much, much more. It's nearly two hours of quality discussions, so check that out when you have time. Shoot, do what I did and keep doing what you're doing while listening to it in the background.

FEGGY MIN: Always up on her art game, Feggy has posted a couple collages showing the artwork and big things she's done in 2013. For the new year, Feggy is starting a new "FIGHT" series, where she'll be drawing various musicians battling it out in Street Fighter-style scenes (calling it "S(e)OUL FIGHTER"). She posted a picture of Jay Park doing a Hadouken move, and takes suggestions for his opponent should be. She also noted in the comments that, "if you guys like this project, I will draw one "fight" each week and when I post a finished one you can vote for the next battle." Doooope!

----------------------------

That wraps it up! I hope you all have a great weekend.
Be excellent to each other.
XOXO, Tiffology

#NYE 2013

HELLO OGT FANS AND FANATICS, FRIENDS AND FOES!

Good afternoon nymphs and nymphettes, and welcome to this first day of the rest of your life. No but really, I applaud you all for making it through the year without losing any limbs... or sanity for that matter. And if you were one of those lucky enough to lose their sanity; well done fella, well done. Anywhoo, I had the pleasure of wrangling in big-badass 2014 with a few beautiful faces from the OGT family, including the general himself VON POE VII, RICS RUMBLE, RAZOR, GAVLYN, BONNIE BLUE, EMPTY SEV, THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. Also, a special thanks goes out to OGT guests who joined the mayhem last night like wise 2MEX, and wise words he did speak. The night was filled with raving attitudes and fire pits, which came complete with a cipher or two...or three. The camp also busted out some face-melting solos though Rockband, flexxxing that hand-eye coordination before watching the ball drop. [On a side note, have you ever wondered how much electricity and power it takes to drop that stupid ball? According to the Huffington Post, Time Square on NYE is the world's biggest rip off] And finally, after most of the world had already celebrated the turning of another page, our clocks stuck midnight and we were all set free, if only for a moment. The living room stretching practically to the backyard became the medium for endless hugs and expressions of gratefulness. And that nymphs and nymphettes, was a truly beautiful site. If you haven't already taken a gander at the mayhem that took place last night, please behold this shit below and be jealous if you must.
BELOW AND BEHOLD you freaks, a little birdy told me that the camp has an OGT track in the making, featuring the great work of artists like the general himself VON POE VII, RICS RUMBLE, RAZOR, BONNIE BLUE. The little birdy hasn't finalized any information for me yet, however it is rumored that the entire camp may be on this track, but it is strictly an OGT family track. Peep the little tweety below for intricate details and keep your eyes and ears posted for this future epicness.
Also this week in OGT life, DEVOUR recently announced he will be doing another meet and greet on Jan 19th from 3-6:30pm in Montclair California. Along with DEVOUR UPP merchandise, King Couture will also be for sale. So go support ya OGT fam and score yourself some wicked merchandise my little nymphs. Follow the tweety below for more information.
#BREAKINGNEWS: It has also been rumored that miss BONNIE BLUE will be dropping some new material for us tonight off of youtube. Keep the anticipation prevalent little ones, because this is not going to be something you'll want to miss. Follow the tweety below for the latest BONNIE BLUE updates.
Lastly but not leastly, Miss VIDA KILLZ recently announced that she has some VIDA KILLZ buttons available for sale, however at a limited quantity. So you know what that means fellas and fellettes? Go snatch yourself a button before its too late! Follow the little tweety below for buying instructions.
