Blessings

Hello OGT Fans and Fanatics, Friends and Foes!

My mind was blown away when I glanced at the calendar and noticed that we here at OGT weekly now have a month under our creative writing belt, and I am more then blessed to be the one to end the month with y'all. This past weekend, I had the pleasure of joining only part of the OGT crew for the Bushwall Junkies' album release party in the beautiful and nipple -hardening city of San Diego. With the lineup including creative influence from Rics Rumble, Bonnie Blue, Razor, Jasson C, THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A, Gav, DJ Starchild, and other specials guests, the energy of the performance was exactly on par. The show attracted angels and devils, ghosts and goblins alike, and the crowd fed off the collective energy like a suckling would its mother.

However, the most inspirational moments for me were watching the bonding, love and hospitality exchange at the OGT sleepover. If you've haven't caught a glimpse of that awesomeness yet, low and behold I have provided yet again my minions! Thanks to DJ Starchild
Post up in the house of PRIME, the father of Rics Rumble, as you can see we were well taken care of. During the wee hours of the night, after everyone was mostly long gone into a world of their own design, Von Poe VII and I had the pleasure of listening to some words of wisdom from the mind of PRIME. He waved his hand, a simple gesture meant to collectively identify everyone who stood before him, and said "Blessings". The statement itself is multidimensional, but one could not deny the obvious passion he has for his children and their art.

On another note, so happy to hear that Vida Killz Negative Space album recently sold out. If you haven't been able to get a copy yet, you can still get your hands on that digital down load by clicking HERE
Also, we find ourselves blessed with new visuals from JMega The God. Directed by Von Poe VII, the visuals are a stunning compliment to the poetry. Enjoy below Nymphs and Nymphettes.

Yarah Bravo recently just announced that she landed a show with IAM November 7th in St. Nazaire. Be sure to support your local artist and show some love on the 7th for Yarah Bravo!
Also, Razor and the rest of us are real excited for Rics Rumble to head back to Germany November 16th! Peep the flyer here and be sure to catch the show if you're on that side of the world. OGT IS WORLDWIDE, don't even front.
Until next time

Studies have shown, People enjoy Mondays more because of FiascoTheGod!

I remember the time when the working class and students hated Mondays. But, studies have shown, since I've been composing blogs for the OGTWeekly every Monday, one month total so far, people have enjoyed Monday's much more. Isn't that great? It's FiascoTheGod and I am here to bring you that latest happenings within the Organized Threat camp.

Poetic Death: Poetic Death posted a picture on Instagram, posted with Killah Priest. Surely another memorable experience for the Organized Threat general. In his caption for his IG pic, the last sentence reads, "All I can say is keep your eyes open, and that your thoughts are your reality!". Poetic Death has stated before that he was trying to get Killah Priest on a track and you wouldn't be unjustified to believe that this has a greater chance of happening, if it hasn't happened already. The picture can be viewed here.

Bushwall Junkies: The collaborative effort between Rics Rumble, Razor, Bonnie Blue, and Eyelim was finally released this past weekend. From a track like "Gassin'" that displays their lyrical abilities, to a heartfelt track like "Kill Yourself", "Black Eye Blue" not only showcases their chemistry, but their ability to deliver diversity in the content of their music. In "Kill Yourself", the humble and powerful words of Razor was possibly the highlight of the track. Razor spits, "But sometimes you can get obsessed with an obsession / To the point where you forget that simply breathing is a blessing". Organized Threat producer Ruman, also commented on the track "Gassin'" via Twitter stating, "Evryone went hard on this Gassin' joint but @BonnieBlueNotes def killed that shit!". Bonnie Blue responded with a "thank you!". You know the popular saying, "save the best for last"? Well this may ring true for some listeners with Bushwall Junkies outro to "Black Eye Blue", entitled "Back & Forth". Of course, tracks 1-6 are important and without them we do not have "Black Eye Blue". But, "Back & Forth" is truly the cherry on top, the icing on the cake, the whip cream on top of your McDonalds Frappe'. It is what solidifies Bushwall Junkies as a group, that is not composed of individuals with different talents, but as a group with many talents. The approach taken to "Back & Forth" does not seem forced nor rushed. It is simply meant to be. You can listen to the entire "Black Eye Blue" project by clicking here.

THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A.: "From The Back Woods" is THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A.'s latest sound. Unlike what we are used to hearing from him, THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. supplies us with an instrumental that will have you doing a little bit more body movements than usual. This beat is also for sale and you can contact him at fequalsmc@gmail.com.

Faces: Organized Threat producer, Faces, released a new sound four days ago. It is entitled "Hush" which features a soft and soothing sound. A title that is definitely not misleading.

Rics Rumble: A video that is focused on showing appreciation for his family, fans, and life experiences, Rics Rumble delivers with a visual for "Take Mine". The literary addict performs his track that portrays his dedication and passion for his music career by stating that he will take the opportunity once the door is open. While performing, there are cuts to live performances, daily life events, and pictures with Organized Threat members, family, and fans. A perfect video to see what the life of an Organized Threat member is like.

Random Organized Threat Tweet: This time around, this more of an informative/eye opening  tweet than a random tweet. This one comes from Papa J. with his tweet "Tony Montana and Bruce lee were both dish washers once upon a time lol humble ya self and RESPECT A PERSON WHO HONESTLY WORKS #iii". With that being said or tweeted, this may be an eye opener for you some of you. Maybe take a minute to think about some people in your life that truly do work hard. Show them that you acknowledge this and as Papa J. instructed, respect them.

In a rare occurrence, an abundance of Organized Threat members were present at the same time and the same place. This took place this past weekend in San Diego as Razor, THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A., Bonnie Blue, Rics Rumble, Jasson C, EmptySev, DJ Starchild, Gavlyn, and Poetic Death were able not only able to share a stage together, but create memories as well. Their picture can be seen by clicking here. It was a very active weekend for the Organized Threat camp and again I enjoyed reporting on it. Consider me, FiascoTheGod, your savior.

Friday, October 25, 2013

Hey y'all, It's me Tiffny, and I'm here with some news about what's been going on with a few members from the Organized Threat camp so far. But before we get into that, I hope everyone's weekend is off to a great start (and I hope y'all have your Halloween plans good to go)! This past Monday FiascoTheGod briefly touched on the news that Organized Treat members Soulcat E5 and Poetic Death were working together for a track on her upcoming mixtape.

Now, Soulcat has mentioned on her soundcloud that the mixtape itself will be a real throw back to 90s hip hop vibes and as if that's not enough to be exited about, she's releasing it as an actual cassette tape. Now, I don't know how many of you still own cassette players, but even if you don't this is definitely something to get excited about getting your hands on, if only as a collectors item.  If you're interested in what she has in store, you're in luck as the international emcee leaked 2 tracks from the tape: Livin' Foul and Phase 1 which you can stream, like, and show love on via her soundcloud.

Tomorrow, Oct. 26th, Bushwall Junkies (Rics Rumble, Razor, Bonnie Blue & Eyelim) are dropping their debut EP Black Eye Blue, which will be followed by the Halloween Celebration/ Release Party on the 26th. Anticipation for the album has been high amongst fans of the group with their single "Gassin" recieving its due praise for showcasing each emcee's rhyme style adeptly over Eyelim's fresh production. You can also catch them (with group and solo sets) at the 710ers Fest a week from then on the 2nd of Nov at The Machine in Pomona, CA, so if you can make it, be there. Stay tuned to Bonnie's facebook page for details. Speaking of Bonnie Blue, she's featured on that new Joogy Jug produced track "Good Luck" alongside Papa J, which dropped less than 24 hours ago. You can check it out right here on Papa J's youtube channel.

Also on the new music front, Devour's new album RedRum is officially up for presale. Yep, order it now and you'll get it for less than a tenner ! Where can you get a hardcopy CD for less than $10 bucks?! Right!? Anyway, if you're interested (and why wouldn't you be?) click here for that.

Lastly, I think I'll close out this post with some Gavlyn news: If you haven't already, make sure you vote for Gavlyn's "ALL TOO WELL" which is from her upcoming album Modest Confidence. The video is currently in the number 10 spot on BEAT 100's Original Rap charts and all the votes you can pass her way will help put her in the top spot. As for the album, it's set for a January 2014 release which gives you something to fresh to look forward to on the new year.

Alright y'all, I think that's about it. Let the weekend commence.

VIVA LAS VEGAS

Hello OGT Fans and Fanatics, Friends and Foes!
This past weekend I had the pleasure of causing trouble in and running the strip of Las Vegas with Von Poe VII, Devour and his special lady. Being my first time in Vegas, I have to admit it wasn't too shabby; my friends, the beers were cold (and free :D) and the city of sin sat glaring down upon us. The backdrop of the of the city almost seemed to glitter with naughty bitts and dollar bills, and I couldn't have been more fascinated. They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but I beg to differ ---> the experiences I shared with these people were burned into the canyons of my memory by the flashing lights, and in the most unforgettable way. It was also interesting to see beasts of The Movement outside of their natural environment; to see the men behind the mask in their most natural form. While they are business partners on their Grind, when they shed their skin its beautiful to see that the bond between brothers is just as powerful as The Movement it supports. An example that represents how it is between brothers and sisters, sisters and sisters; The Movement, The Family. Oh yeah, and I kinda did get to meet Bert and Ernie. BAWSE.

On that Note,
DevourUP recently announced that he is planning meet and greets + album signings! So If you want to meet with Devour, get yo ass on that and request your city quick before all the slots fill up!!!
Also, it looks like everyone's getting real pumped up for the 619 Halloween Show! Featuring Von Poe VII, Bonnie Blue, Gavlyn, Rics Rumble, Razor, Empty Sev, Tha F.O.R.M.U.L.A, and other guests, the show is sure to be a fucking riot and I recommend that you attend.
Joogy Jug also announced that he will be dropping a track off his up and coming project. The track is called GOOD LUCK, and is said to be released 12/24/13, featuring Bonnie Blue and Papa J. I'm a total #Jooghead, or in other words a fan of the work he did on Papa J's NO R3COLL3CTION and others alike, so needless to say I'm excited to see what comes next from him.
Lastly, it seems to me as if Rics Rumble is hinting toward dropping another track! What eager fans would love to hear a new one? Let your artist know, let the good vibes flow. Drop a tweet and hype it up !

Until next time Nymphs and Nymphettes,
Regards

An awesome three weeks it is..

Can you believe it's already been three weeks? FiascoTheGod is here to provide you with the latest within the Organized Threat camp.

Well, to be honest, there wasn't that much going on this passed weekend. At least not as much as usual. This shouldn't be looked at in a negative light because you can't always expect your favorite music artists to release content or news within a 3 day period every weekend. You can expect it, but your expectations will not be met all the time. That is just reality.

Maybe during this 3 day period some Organized Threat members took some time out to think about what their goals are in life. That's what producer THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. did via Twitter. THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. wrote "So many people wanna do music for this fame or to be super rich.. But I just wanna live a good life, be comfortable, n wake up happy! Its about taken care of yourself and your people.. Family, significant others, homies, your community.. Thats what people are grinding for.." I really like this tweet because if you read this tweet critically, you can imagine the other side of the story. What if the only way for a person to "live a good life, be comfortable, n wake up happy" is to be rich and famous? Maybe that's the only way celebrities want to live and only know how to live. THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. is clearly content with being able to be happy and support those in need by living a life that does not consists of fame and fortune, and that's great. There is a possibility that his ideas may change. His belief can change within the next minute, the next month, 5 years from now, and that's okay. He shouldn't be labeled a walking contradiction, if that were to happen. Accepting new information and ideas, results in a change of belief and he could very well have that experience. After reading the latest news within the Organized Threat camp, just take 5 minutes and think about what you want in life. Tweet it just like THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. or write it down, or maybe even leave it in the comment section.Whatever it is, understand that that is what you want at that moment and it is up to you to decide how you want to obtain that way of life.

Poetic Death: Poetic Death supplied his listeners with lyrics to the "Pound Cake" Instrumental. The remix will be on Papa J.'s "5:55 AM" mixtape. This was done by way of Twitter and the first tweet can be gazed upon by clicking here. Reading the rest of the lyrics, Poetic Death is focused on getting straight to the point. It's as if Poetic Death was ready to release all the thoughts that were pounding on his head. One of these thoughts appear to be relating to his financial situation and the lack of respect he is getting from people who expect him to dish out money or supply them with discounts on videos.

Poetic Death also has a few other collaborations on the way. Sleep Sinatra of RottenDoggz tweeted out "just finished pennin for this joint with my G @VonPoeVII". This won't be the first time they have gave birth to a track. Their most recent work came from Poetic Death's "VON POE VII" album, on the "Reunion" track. Poetic Death will also be working with Organized Threat MC, Soulcat E5. This was announced by the Organized Threat general himself via Twitter and can be witnessed by clicking here.

Papa J.: Papa J. took to Twitter to announce that he will be releasing a new music video for "Right Miiind" as well as cover art for his "5:55 AM" mixtape on October 31. The "Right Miiind" video will be fresh off Papa J.'s latest project "NO R3COLL3TION". The tweet that provides this information can be viewed here. When you guys think of a music project that is entitled "5:55 AM", what do you envision the cover art to look like? Do you picture a person sitting at a desk jotting down some lyrics, night lamp to the right, clock to the left that reads 5:55 AM, bed in the background? That's what I am picturing, at least right now. Leave a comment below or tweet Papa J. what you think his "5:55 AM" mixtape cover will look like.

Bushwall Junkies: The Bushwall Junkies are a collaborative effort between Organized Threat members, Bonnie Blue, Razor, and Rics Rumble as well as (non-ogt) producer Eyelim. They just released their latest track entitled "Gassin'". This is a really laid back track that showcases Bonnie Blue's, Razor's, and Rics Rumble's rhyming ability. How do they make it seem so effortless?

Random Organized Threat Tweet: Gavlyn does it again. With her "I like retarded dudes" tweet, she is featured in this Monday's random Organized Threat Tweet. Fortunately for her, there are plenty of retarded dudes out there. Gavlyn, I suggest you choose wisely. You don't want to end up with a guy that depends on you to wipe his butt every time he does the number 2. You know what I'm saying?

There you have it. THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. thinks about what he wants in life, Poetic Death stays on his grind, mark October 31 on your calender for some new Papa J., the Bushwall Junkies make it seem effortless, and Gavlyn likes retarded dudes. Don't forget to check out the next OGTWeekly this Wednesday. Peace.

It's Friday night, and I feel all right

... the party's here on the West Side! Montell Jordan throwback for you. Hello, everyone! Tiffology here. I hope you're doing well on this cool Friday night. Being that I live in Arizona (Glendale area), I am so glad that the summer heat warnings are gone and that our nights breezy once again. It's the best weather right now. Clear skies, low 60s, good vibes... yeahhhh. Anyway, I have several things to talk about and catch you up on.

POETIC DEATH: For all of you wanting to be apart of Poe's army--the one where you can represent his music on your gear--you're in luck! He just received his order of black "VONPOEVII" beanies today, and they are now available for purchase. Here's a picture of Poetic Death wearing one. They are available on his Bandcamp page for $25--just go to any album and buy it there (you'll receive a free digital download of the album of choice). There was also talk that he may be creating a style of masks (similar to the one he wears in his videos) for you all to rock. He'll be the (Guy Fawkes masked) V of hip hop. V for VonPoe.

BONNIE BLUE: Next week, three OgT members will be dropping a brand new track called "Good Luck." Production by Joogy Jugg, featuring Papa J and Bonnie Blue. Stay tuned via any of their social pages for that update! Anybody else excited for all the new Bonnie Blue material coming out soon?! Her collaborative album, Black Eye Blue, with Razor and Rics Rumble (the trio are then called the Bushwall Junkies) is dropping in less than 2 weeks; and her debut solo EP, All Things Considered, is also on its way. Hell yeah!

JASSON C: Earlier today, Jasson made a Facebook post regarding new music. If you get his "Like" count up by 10, before 12AM PST on Saturday, he'll drop a brand new song. So, if you want that to happen sooner than later, be sure to share some of his music with your friends (such as his Waiting Room album, because it's so good).

FACES: Producer Faces has been sliding a few new beats across the Soundcloud table that I think you should check out. Bobby already mentioned "One Wish" in his last post, but now there are two more. He cites Scruffnuk Dust as inspiration for "Dreams/Nightmares." The dream soundscape occupies two-thirds of the beat with choppy soul vocals, playful, melodic piano, and soft-sounding shakers; it closes with a spacey, spooky beat. Lastly, there's "Leaving," which dropped earlier in the day. The two are fitting for this time of night for me. Smooth, atmospheric beats for you to kick up your feet and relax your mind to.

RUMAN: Ruman is still pushing his 6-track beat tape, called Bright Side, that he released on September 1st. The title proves to be an accurate description due to its head-nodding, experimental, and downtempo vibes. Splashed with synths, rapid hi-hats, chopped samples, slow-rolling snares, and light percussion. Real smooth stuff. If you have yet to take a listen to the project, download it for free at DatPiff.

RELLIM: On October 15th, Rellim released an instrumental project called Rellim's Throw Aways Vol. 1. It's comprised of 7 beats that he made a while ago, and he's released it as a free digital download (of course, you can donate with the pay-what-you-want price). If you're new to this guy like I am, this is a good starting point. You can also take a step backwards into his August-released project, Welcome To Waveland, or any other project he has available on his Bandcamp page. Either way, put yourself onto this guy.

FEGGY MIN: Last, but not least, the visual artist of the bunch is getting ready to release her newest collection, Feggymin9889. She posted a sneak peek photo--modeled by Feggy and Sara Fleur--as well as a few other designs from the collection. Check 'em out! Also, on October 26th, Feggy will have her own "BIG" booth in a Zurich-based store, where she'll show and sell her new collection and prints. Free food, free drinks, and awesome clothing. More information can be found at the Facebook Event.

Not everybody's straight up, but everybody's able...

Hello OGT Fans and Fanatics, Friends and Foes!

This week, like every other week, has been busy and productive for Organized Threat. Monday, we were blessed with fresh visuals for Gavlyn's 'Guilty Pleasure'. For being only one track off of her up and coming album 'Modest Confidence', 'Guilty Pleasure' conveys a Gavlyn with many different shades and personas. The beauty of interpretation is multifaceted, congruent to the poetry contained within 'Guilty Pleasure'. On one hand, we see a Gavlyn concerned by the honesty of individuals "Not everybody's straight up, but everybody's able" [1:15]. In another shade, we see a Gavlyn who is expressively vulnerable to her desires "I'm made of glass, I crack fast" [1:41] From another persona, we find a Gavlyn admiring the characteristics of someone unknown "You have a good soul, and this chemistry is nice" [0:28] The poetry encompasses things that many of us are able to relate too, we are all torn and tempted by our desires. We've all been the victim of our own 'Guilty Pleasure'. Anywho, behold the visuals below, produced by Figub Brazlevič and directed by the one and only Von Poe VII. Enjoy ;]

Soulcat E-Phife released a new single off of her up and coming mix-tape in the making. Meditate to the poetry and cultivate the vibes.

Haven't seen the EXCLUSIVE interview Feggy Min ART just released? That's quite alright ladies and gents, because as one of your sources for OGT news, I am here to provide and otherwise be a badass.

Lastly, I'd recommend swoopin' up on a copy of Vida Killz' 'Negative Space' album, she only has eight copies left. We all know the precious cargo doesn't last very long !

Until next time Nymphs and Nymphettes,
Regards
Aster

It's Monday and you know who is writing this blog right? It's FiascoTheGod and it's time for me to bring you the latest within the Organized Threat camp.

Your name is changed. You are no longer who you say you are. Don't worry, this is just your music artist name. Is it that much of a big deal? Will you be a completely different music artist with a completely different name?

Organized Threat member, Gavlyn is contemplating a name change. This was a tweet she composed a few days ago and taking a look down her Twitter feed, it's difficult to confirm if her willingness to change her name was a serious Tweet. You can look at this tweet here.

If you have been keeping up with WWE recently you will remember new WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt hearing the "Husky Harris" chants even though he is Bray Wyatt. Husky Harris was his previous name while he was an upcoming talent on the WWE roster before he was repackaged into the creepy leader of the Wyatt Family. Although the Husky Harris chants have partially come to a halt, will Gavlyn experience the same thing? If the name change were to happen she would still be called Gavlyn by her current fans and supporters. While performing concerts will she hear her day one fans chanting "Gavlyn" while her new fans are chanting "(Enter New Name Here)"? If she believes that her musical talent will escalate to another level due to a name change then I say go for it now. Maybe she can do something like Poetic Death and have multiple artist names. When it comes down to it, Gavlyn can do whatever she wants because it's her life.

Razor:  Razor released a track from his upcoming album "F.A.I.T.H". This one is entitled "Letter To The Bitch-Made" which is aimed at the MC's who only care about putting out average work or just simply, anybody who is Bitch-Made. A sign of loyalty to his OGT and non OGT family should also be noted in the song when Razor says, "That goes for anybody dissing niggas that I'm rhyming with / I dare you to try me, you know exactly what time it is". Razor, lyrically justifies his sanguine remarks in this track.

THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A.: I know after reading my blog you are going to obtain the eagerness to count the stars at night time. If you are reading this during the day, then you'll have to wait a few hours. If you live in a city, then you have some time to drive to the country side. And if for some strange reason you don't have the motivation to count the stars, (wait, what, you don't like counting stars?) THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. released his latest sound entitled "Counting Stars With You.." that will surely drive you to want to count some stars and no I don't mean the ones in Hollywood.

If you didn't know about THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A.'s 2014 album "As Sound Travels", well, you do now. Yesterday THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. took to Twitter to let you guys know that the information about the cover, track list, and features will be released soon. You can gaze upon that tweet by clicking here.

Faces: Organized Threat producer, Faces, released a new feel good sound entitled "One Wish". While listening to this, your one wish may have been for you to stop doing a little dance in your chair. Or was that just me?

Random Organized Threat Tweet: And this blogs random Organized Threat tweet goes to..drum roll please..no really if you aren't doing a drum roll don't continue to read this...Gavlyn! On October 12, 2013 at 5: 33 pm EST, she tweeted, "U really smell like hot dog buns". For some reason I feel that was directed at me and for your information it was a hamburger bun.

In case you were too busy studying, playing video games, twerking, or finding out ways to get more followers on Instagram, here is the latest news that happened in the Organized Threat camp this weekend. Consider me, FiascoTheGod, your savior. You're welcome.

Peace and Positivity!

What's up everyone!

I'm Tiffny, the other half of CrayonBeats! Tiffology and I have been blogging together for almost 8 years and during that time, quickly came to realize that although our tastes in music are a bit different, we fundamentally share the same mind when it comes to blogging: post what you love. In the early days of blogging together, we quickly came to realize that we didn't want to contribute the negative aspects of the music blogosphere as it was/is saturated with such as it is already. Not only that, but constantly ranting about or dissing a certain musician/genre gets boring not only for the writers (I hope) but for the readers as well. A while back I read an interview with adult actor Richie Calhoun about male performers in the adult film industry. Hold on, hear me out! This is going somewhere I promise! Anywho, even though his interview was mainly about expounding on the bias male performers receive, he touched on the subject of "haters" and I really thought his outlook was great, that it totally could be applied (and advised) to many-a blogger and twitter-er, and that it solidified the decision we made. To quote the part that stood out to me, "Feel free to hate on excellence or ineptitude — it’s your time and you can waste it however you please." There you go, that's it. I mean after reading that, I took a look at the twitters I followed, blogs I read, and even the posts I personally made and while it's true, everyone has the right to waste their time as they pleased, did I really want to waste my time reading and posting negativity? Nope! So basically, waste more time on things you like or love and those around you will grow in that love. You'll feel much better about it and yourself! Of course this is not to say that one can't express their displeasure with someone/something because having a completely polarized view is unrealistic however, finding the right balance isn't that difficult. Maybe for you it's a 60/40 split, 80/20, or 90/10 split. Whatever it is, before you go off on a rant, or click that link to a snarky gossip blog, think to yourself...does it matter? Is it helping or not? If the answer is yes, then go ahead, vent! But just remember if more than half of the things you read/post are full of negativity then it's more than likely going to make you and those around feel like crap. Like the old saying goes, misery loves company so don't even give it the time of day. Are you following a slew of Debbie Downers, Jerky Johnnys and Carla Complains-Alots on twitter, tumblr or wherever? If so, first try being their positive light, as they may need you to be. You don't even have to do something drastic, just simply ask them about something they love. Ask them for recommendations to a restaurant or movie. Suggest they blog a topic on something you know they enjoy. If after so long, it becomes evident that they're stuck on being sour, then it's time to start cleaning your sphere of influence. Let them go. If they ask (although they probably won't even notice) just tell them that it isn't them, it's their social media behavior. After you've rid yourself of the negative vibes, it's time to surround yourself with those that inspire you; those that make you want to do great things as well. In doing this, you'll be engulfed in the right light to breed your own creativity and progress. If you're a musician, blogger, visual artist, or just someone who enjoys the work of others, I can guarantee that when you're around those who bring out the best in you, others see it, feed off of it and prosper as well. Just the same as when you're around negativity. So once more, waste time on things you like, and appreciate the positive "wasted time" of others! Your blood pressure will thank you. By now, you're probably asking, "Tiff, what the hell does any of this have to do with you writing for Organized Threat?!" Well, I'll tell you. Back when we first started blogging together, Tiffology would often post on CrayonBeats about OGT members, their music and goings-on and in all honesty the purity and passion for which they do their thing always radiates positive energy. Every single one on the Organized Threat roster lives up to that sentiment of "do more of what you like" and encourages positivity and growth within themselves and their fanbase. So when Tiff told me that Poe invited us to join them on the OGT Weekly blog, I was extremely humbled and excited. And with that being said, when reading my posts, I hope that I can live up to the positivity of Organized Threat as a whole, and bring my own light to help others realize theirs. TLDR VERSION: I'm Tiffny. I'm inspired by positivity and I try to inspire others with my positivity. I hope I do you guys proud! I'll leave you guys with Bluebird by DJ Vadim feat Yarah Bravo and BluRum13. I was introduced to this track by Tiffology back in the early days of blogging together, and it was the first time I'd been exposed to an artist from Organized Threat. Enjoy and spread the positive vibes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gBBKxdMMhI

Happy Hump Day

Hello OGT fans and fanatics, friends and foes,

Sunday, I had the honor of assisting in filming part of Von Poe VII's up and coming music video Ephemeral featuring Empty Sev. In a very rough nutshell, (if that’s even possible) the lyrical content is deep: While Von Poe VII speaks on destiny and the insecurity of hate, Empty Sev speaks on the past and of living life with no regrets. Collectively, Von Poe VII and Empty Sev illustrate the bold poetic capabilities that reach depths unknown. Consider Von Poe VII’s line from Ephemeral for example “I got a good heart, but a good heart won’t feed my family”. Can anyone say, fucking metaphor inception?! I find it remarkable that two statements can deflower the dull innocence of the psyche by unlocking a world of ethotic interpretive possibilities. The video is just as enveloping as the poetry, a proper visual interpretation yet again directed and produced by THE GENERAL himself. The video debuted today, and if you haven’t gotten a chance, watch below and enjoy the visuals :] Special thanks to Magnus Clothing in Chino California for showing the love.
Also in the very near future, Rics Rumble will be performing a show this Friday Oct. 11th at The Airliner LA. Be sure to stop by and show some support!

Halloweens' just round the river bend and not only am I excited about extreme intoxication and public indecency, but I’m also excited about Bonnie Blue's ‘Black Eye Blue’ Mixtape! The Mixtape features Rics Rumble, RAZOR, and is being produced by Eyelim (@eyeliveinmusic). Enjoy All Hallows’ Eve and vibe out to the poetry.

Peace to the Movement
Live long and prosper

My name is Bobby Staropoli and I write under the name FiascoTheGod. Every Monday I will be providing you with the latest updates surrounding the Organized Threat camp. This is a great opportunity for myself and I know that I will be able to benefit Organized Threat with my weekly blogs.

THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A.: Producer, THA F.O.R.M.U.L.A. breaks off the shackles with his latest sound entitled "Sets Me Free". This beat will alleviate any tensions you have with external forces as you project towards freedom.

Papa J.: The Colorado MC had a batch of announcements for you guys this weekend via Twitter. The first one reads "PEEP: ”5:55AM” @djstarchild1 & iii will be dropping it on 12-23-13#iii #OGT Official Mixtape cover…" which lead to an Instagram pic that displays the Mixtape Cover. So with that announcement you received a new release date for his "5:55 AM" mixtape as well as a clean and official cover art for that mixtape. Not only does Papa J. want you to be blasting his mixtape, he wants you to be wearing it, too! Papa J. tweets, "Alot of surprises coming for The people for ”5:55AM” LIMITED EDITION MERCHANDISE". Finally, he announced that there will be a new leak Tuesday night but, it is important to note that he also tweeted "Any leak iii drop starting with the one on Tuesday night will not be on ”5:55AM”. Take a moment to digest all of that and move on to more news we have from the Organized Threat camp.

Razor: In a short tweet, Razor was able to sum up what you should expect and not expect on his upcoming album "F.A.I.T.H.". Razor tweets, "So much lyrical freedom on this #FAITH album.....No responses to bitch-niggas, no required structure, and most of all NO LIMITS. #ComingSoon". The great thing about that tweet is he is being honest and at the same time letting you know the direction he is talking his upcoming project. That direction is unknown, a mystery, nothing an educated guess can come close to, and that's why it's a great tweet.

Devour: The no holds barred MC, Devour finally releases his "RedRum" album. This one features your favorites from the Organized Threat artist such as "RedRum", "Bleeding Slow", "Woke Up", and "Progression". The first 100 people will be able to purchase the album for $10 and anybody after that will have to pay full price, so purchase it now by clicking here.

Random Organized Threat Tweet: This weeks random Organized Threat tweet comes from Gavlyn, with a tweet that will have your mind constructing a beautiful image. "Almost puked yaaaay".

So just in case you were not able to keep up with anything that happened over the weekend that related to your favorite Organized Threat members, consider me your savior. Don't forget to check back here Wednesday for your next OGTWeekly update and I will see you next week.

You ride with OgT? Yeah, you know me!

Before I get into what's new with some of the artists of Organized Threat, let me introduce myself. My name is Tiffany (Tiffany B.) and I'm the co-owner of the website and magazine CrayonBeats, along with my friend and business partner who is also named Tiffany (Tiffany R.). I write under the name "Tiffology" (I live in Arizona), and she writes under the name "Tiffny" (she lives in New York). We have been running our music-centered blog for about 7 years and have progressively ventured into new things. In 2010, we began curating our own compilations. Then, this year, we started up our very own magazine and are currently working on our fourth issue.

We will both be writing for Organized Threat's weekly report, where we will alternate every Friday, so look out for that. Personally, I have been a fan of Poetic Death's music since 2011, when I first saw DeathKillz' video for "Chapter One". Since then, I've been a supporter of his music and the movement as a whole--which has progressively put me onto the rest of the camp. With that said, it's truly an honor to be involved with such a talented, artistic group of individuals--shout out to Poe for the opportunity!

Now that you have an introduction as to who I am and what I represent, let me update you on what some members have been up to!

POETIC DEATH / VON POE VII: Yesterday, he dropped a special project called LEGACY: THE REBIRTH. As an offering to new listeners and older fans alike, he hand-selected 30 tracks from the span of his music career and compiled them into one full compilation for everyone to enjoy. This is his way of taking everyone through his own discography--from projects such as 2006's The Atma Within all the way up to 2012's DARCIA.

There is no particular order, only that each track shows the year that it came from. It's obvious that he has greatly evolved as an artist, while still holding onto his original rap aesthetics. Very cool project, don't sleep on this one. Matter of fact, you know when you try putting someone onto an artist you dig (Poetic Death, for example), with so many projects, it's sometimes hard to recommend just one. This is the direction that you can point people in for an introduction, because it contains the doper bits and pieces from every album he's released in the last 6 years.

LEGACY: THE REBIRTH is available for free digital download, but you're more than welcome to show some support by donating. If you're down to spend $25+, grab the limited edition VONPOEVII snapback hat that you've seen Poe wear everywhere. Only 50 available, so be quick about that.

While I'm already on the topic of Poetic Death, check out this informational 18-minute video interview that he and Gavlyn did with Don't Let The Label Label You while they were in Berlin. They talk about how they met through Myspace, the focus of Organized Threat, brief introductions to each member, touring, their meeting with one of my favorite lady spitters Yarah Bravo (I got put onto her around 2005 when she was 1/3rd of the group One Self, and have been following her progress since; I'm thrilled she got on board with OgT recently), recording in the studio, forthcoming albums, and much more.

VIDA KILLZ: It's been a long time since we've seen a new music video from Vida. However, after a much needed hiatus, she returned with brand new visuals a few days ago. From her Negative Space album released last year, watch the music video for the outro track, "Death To Honesty." Produced by JG, Vida spits a powerful message, reflecting on the way hip hop used to be, and admits that all she wants is to be great to someone and create a shift in music. "All I want is a spot on that mixtape you make your friends."

JASSON C: Two days ago, Jasson dropped his anticipated Waiting Room mixtape, which is a sub-sequel to his 2012 EP, Finding Id. This is my real first exposure to Jasson C, and it's an ill project to start out with. In his own words, he accurately describes it as, "a concept driven project fusing the classical lyricism of underground hip hop with the experimental, neo-West, Los Angeles based sounds."

With a casual flow and sick delivery over the beats, he displays his true skills as an emcee through the versatility of his raps. He balances his lyrics with abstract messages, conscious thoughts, reflective stories, and fun rap cuts. I also like his casual flow and he has a sick delivery. In between all of that, there are some amusing skits that you don't want to skip over. Production leans between jazzy boom bap and soulful hip hop grooves. Beats by Rmur Beats, Dstruct, Rick Beats, Infamous Reptar, Bitoy Beats, Greg, JR Hitmaker, and King. Guest features from Ray Audio, Mack The Shark, Rics Rumble, and DJ Kontra.

Stream the mixtape in full over at Soundcloud, and grab that free download.

JMEGA THE GOD: Fresh off of his Niggaz Iz Kingz Forever album, which was released on September 19th, rapper JMega dropped a video for his single "Airships" today. Producer Wheely laid out a head-nodding, snare-driven beat for Jmega to spit raw raps about gettin' lifted and livin' life while not giving a damn. Cameo from Poetic Death. Watch that here.

FEGGY MIN: As you may already know, the talented illustrator of the collective has been making forward moves with her art by taking them beyond paper works and album covers, and catapulting herself into the fashion world. Adding onto her unique, customized clothing line made up of t-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts, she has officially slapped her designs onto iPhone cases. Now you can bring her signature characters and designs with you 24/7. Check out her shop here, and get laced in some fresh Feggy gear!

Feggy also made some official Organized Threat phone cases that come in black or white. You Ride With OgT?

Hello OGT fans and fanatics, friends and foes,
My name is Aster and I am honored to have been chosen as one of the few given the task to represent Organized Threat in the blogging world. I do not treat the study of philosophy as merely a catalyst to put food on the table at night, nor do I treat it as merely the superfluous opinions of machine men. I do it because of the inexplicable mystery and depth enveloping the questions that have plagued men for decades upon decades. These questions illuminate my dream-states even, consistently for such a long period of time that I can no longer deny the romance. Above all else, I am a soldier, a predisposed martyr meandering through perceptions for the universal form of truth. I am one of many.
Truth is only as powerful as the mind that believes it, and I belong to a collective of minds. However think of this collective as one coercive entity, each of us ventricles and atria imperative to the operations of the heart. Each of us our own unique artist, progressively projecting our passions to an almost impermeable league. We are each unique perpetrators of the passion, teachers and students pumping the blood of our beliefs. And with this passion we intend to reveal the truth with such vibrancy that it stands firm against those deceptions who’s desires and ideals are not true, but arbitrary. Because we operate on passion, rather than desire, we operate on a spectrum where there exists no fear. Passion is a faculty of the soul, while desire is a faculty of man. We operate beyond imprudence and tacit consent, and have risen above these faculties that leave men devoid and impure.
Organized Threat is the future, and there comes a point when one can no longer stay neutral. The great philosopher Socrates said in the midst of death that the unexamined life is not worth living, and proclaimed that he would not live if he could not practice his passion. However, Friedrich Nietzsche proposed quite a different perspective
“WHAT really is this "Will to Truth" in us? Granted that we want the truth: WHY NOT RATHER untruth? And uncertainty? Even ignorance? The problem of the value of truth presented itself before us—or was it we who presented ourselves before the problem? Which of us is the Oedipus here? Which the Sphinx?”
Will you fight for what you believe in? Or will you chose the path of those who close their eyes to truth only to stand in the back of the crowd behind toy soldiers? I urge you to examine the truth value of which you believe, as well as the truth value exerted by those around you.
Chose wisely.
