Freedom Fighters

Hey, OgTWeekly readers. Being that yesterday was the 4th of July--a day of celebrating your freedom--I wasn't able to write up my post yesterday. That's a day for family, friends, fun, food, fireworks, and everything else fantastic. Even if I did, it wouldn't have been looked at, because all of you were busy, too! I'm here for you today, though! To coincide with the holiday weekend, why don't you press play on songs like Yarah Bravo's "Freedom Fighters," K'Naan's "Waving Flag", Common's "A Dream", Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Free Bird", Jimi Hendrix's "Freedom", Simon & Garfunkel's "America", The Guess Who's "American Woman", George Clinton's "Paint The White House Black", The Goats "Typical American", and/or Public Enemy's "Fight The Power"?! Just some tunes that came to mind. Anyway, let's get into it!

POETIC DEATH: As you may already know, the CDs of Poe's ONLYGODZRELATE album have officially arrived (sneak peek picture). This means that everyone who pre-ordered one via his IndieGoGo campaign, you will be receiving yours soon (if you haven't already)! If you haven't ordered yours yet, and would like to, make sure you hit up his WEBSITE/BANDCAMP PAGE to make your purchase. Oh yeah, and if you live in BAKERSFIELD, Poe will be around the city over the weekend, selling and hand-delivering signed copies... for the a special deal of $25!
