Dream Building, "Point 8", "American Ultra", and More!

My name is Fiasco, and this is the OGT Weekly. The purpose of the OGT Weekly is to provide you with the latest news coming from the Organzied Threat movement.

A simple tweet by Papa J. Ruiz of a luxurious house, evoked the introduction for this edition of the OGT Weekly. While on your journey to achieving a goal, you may find it difficult to stay motivated. Ourselves and life get in the way of our goals but, it is also our responsibility to keep ourselves focused. Dream building is one of those ways.

Having trouble staying motivated? Going dream building can help and Papa J. Ruiz has seemed to have figured that out already.I have learned that dream building is an important key to accomplishing a long-term goal. It refocuses your mind on your goal. It will keep you motivated. Picture a house that you want. A car that you want. Your ideal body. Then surround yourself with images that are similar to what you picture. Walk around a nice neighborhood that has some of the nicest houses you have ever seen. Watch motivational videos on Youtube. By surrounding yourself with the things you want, you are programming yourself to stay on the path to success. Papa J. Ruiz tweeted out a picture of a nice big house. That's a good way to keep his mind focused on a goal. The next step for him, if he hasn't already would be to go to the nearest neighborhood that has a community of nice houses and take a look at them. That will surely keep him motivated. Having a nice house or a nice car may not be your goal but it can be something you get as a result of achieving your goal. The way Papa J. Ruiz sees himself obtaining the house of his dreams is by continuing to pursue his music career and be able to make a significant income from it. That's why it is important to go dream building.

Papa J. Ruiz continues to put the focus on his HR-1955 album and he does it by releasing a visual for "Point 8". "Point 8" is one of Papa J. Ruiz's great rapping performances and in this visual, his friends are there to witness it live. The good time that everyone is having in the video really does represent what is needed (fun and support) when we are all working hard. It really does relieve the stress that comes along with being in "grind mode". And for some reason, the multi-colored bright jacket that Papa J. Ruiz wears reminds me of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air TV show. "Point 8" is directed by Chad A. Marshall and produced by Endure.

A Papa J. Ruiz fan shows his loyalty by inking on the "iii"'s in a tattoo. Click here to view the intense tattoo.

For the remainder of this OGT Weekly, address me as Fiasco Ultra.

Here is the visual for "American Ultra"! "American Ultra" evokes a euphoric feeling within me because it really does refresh my memory when I first heard Von Poe VII as Poetic Death. Poe acknowledges that himself within this track when he says, "They sayin that that boy VII is back up on his death shit". Ruman's production gets the assist in bringing that out. Now we have a visual for "American Ultra" and I am very ecstatic about that. Ruman said its's a movie and I agree. The visual is really that captivating and will be the cause of goosebumps around your body. "American Ultra" can be found on Von Poe VII's album The Purity of Love and War.

Von Poe VII announced juicy juicy news through Twitter. Poe lets it be known the features and producers he desires to have on his next project. Ruman, Endure, and 3Point (not-ogt) are known to bring out "The Villain" in Von Poe VII. I can't recall anything from Joogy that has done that in the past, so it is something to think about going forward. Will Joogy's responsibility in the project be to do that as well, or will he be responsible for tracks on the project that will "lighten up" the mood? As far as the features, it would be cliche for me to say, "Von Poe VII does not have a lot of experience collaborating with the desired features besides Papa J. Ruiz so it will be interesting to see how it plays out". The fact is that it doesn't matter if he hasn't done much work with the other features! And it will be more than "interesting"! It's mouthwatering to think about the possibile outcomes that can occur! And...I think I just argued with myself.
"The Space Between" (no not the bubble) by Von Poe VII is one of his most recent tracks to be released. Commencing with thought provoking questions, Von Poe VII proceeds with lyrics that put love over money. Von Poe VII's words in combination with production from UrBan Nerd that will fill your soul, makes for a profound track. Hold onto your chair because you might float away.

Vida Killz posted a quote on her website. The quote reads "Remember Why You Started". Remembering the "why" is also crucial on your path to achieving a goal. Your why will motivate you. Maybe it's to retire your parents, to have a better life for yourself, to help your family, etc. Remembering your "why" will keep you back on the right path if you ever fall off. Yes, you can have more than one why. Just be specific. Going dream building and having a constant reminder of your "why" will, without a doubt have you on your way to achieving your goal(s).
We have the privelege of seeing Razor go to work in the 8th BARS session. Razor entitles it "Frontlines" and we witness why he calls himself the lyrical prophet. "Frontlines" is initiated once Razor becomes an omnipotent weatherman. From there he doesn't slow down as we hear him rhyme with the word "providence" and also rhyme with the word "latency". That was very impressive to me. It is not known yet when or who will be in session 9.
"Pains of Love" is Joogy Music's new visual and it features Papa J. Ruiz. When listening to the production from Joogy Music, the words "triumph" and "confidence" arise in the mind. "Pains of Love" not only showcases his chemistry with Papa J. Ruiz, but it also portrays the smiling faces that Joogy Music gets to be around when he is not crafting music. I guess you can say the visual lets everyone get a peak of Joogy's life outide of music. "Pains" of Love" will be on Joogy Music's upcoming album.

Yarah Bravo inserts a new visual under her belt with her feature in "Long Lost Relative". You definitely want to gaze upon the video more than once. The visual in itself is very pleasing to watch and so your eyes may take over your ears the first time through. Multiple plays after that allow you to connect with the voice and words of Yarah Bravo.

Overseas OGT members unite! While at a block party in Magdeburg (no I don't know where that is. No I'm not using google maps, Yarah Bravo linked and Soulcat linked up and there a picture on Facebook to prove it! Just click here.

"Long For You (Departure)" by Endure One

Endure One hits your heart with "Long For You (Departure)". The title of the track really does setup for what you experience in his production. The brief sound bites that are intricately placed adds depth to "Long For You (Departure)". I officially vote the cotton candy man for president. Physical sugar for everybody.

"Trials" by Endure One

If you have ever been on trial for a serious crime (murder, theft, parking in the bike lane) then this may bring back some memories. Here is "Trials" by Endure One. If you're laying down or sitting in a chair, I challenge you to be still while listening.

"Lost and Found" by H.V.

"Lost and Found" is a brand new sound from producer H.V. With 27 seconds to the track, it appears that whatever H.V. lost, he found rather quickly.

"We Don't Think About It" by Dylan Montayne (not ogt) featuring Papa J. Ruiz

Papa J. Ruiz was recently featured on a track from Dylan Montayne and it is entitled "We Don't Think About It". Papa J. Ruiz does a captivating job of describing some of his life experiencs and tying that into the title of the track "We Don't Think About It". Whatever fans Dylan Montayne has, withouth a doubt became new listeners of Papa J. Ruiz. Make sure to take advantage of the free download.

"When It Rains It Pours" by Koolz One and Endure One

Wow! What an intense track to end this OGT Weekly with! Here is "When It Rains It Pours", where the rain of emotions from Koolz One pour out over production from Endure One. There isn't room for an ounce of rain to drop for a hook in this one! "When It Rains It Pours" has Koolz One uniquely addressing the hard times he has faced and the production from Endure One becomes an enormous sponge and soaks it up.

There is your OGT Weekly! Make sure to take a second or third look over it to make sure you capture every detail. To further show support to Organized Threat, don't forget to share! Thank you for taking the time out to read and keeping up to date with Organized Threat!

T-H-R-E-A-T, man... /Method Man voice.

VON POE VII / POETIC DEATH:

Von Poe has released two new music videos since the last OGTWeekly post, and those would be "Dante's Inferno / Loyalty (Mobb Deep Tribute)" and "Titan". The first part of "Dante's Inferno / Loyalty (Mobb Deep Tribute)" pays homage to Mobb Deep's classic "Hell On Earth" song, where Poe raps over the same Havoc-produced beat, about enemies, being real and ready for war at any given moment. The last half of that video was produced by EMP, and the subject matter ties into that, with him venting about severing ties with disloyal snakes. Watch that RIGHT HERE in HD, or click the mini player below.

The second, and most recent, music video that he dropped was for "Titan". With a head-nodding, melancholy-sounding, boom bap beat by 3POINT (this one, to be precise!), Poe reflects his dreams, his strong work ethic, the importance of being true to yourself, and his desire to be an influential person in hip hop and life. "And I just wanna live // And I just be great // So regardless how my story ends // Just know that I was never fake // I never back away from promises that I made myself // It's hard to find direction when everybody got they hands out // But nobody's tryin' to help me". The video was filmed in an abandoned building, where the walls are covered with beautiful graffiti. Watch it RIGHT HERE, or watch in the mini player below. Both of the songs are from The Purity of Love and War, so if you have yet to grab that (FOR FREE), do it now. But if you're into paying for music, even when it's being offered for free from the artist themselves, or if you're an Apple head, you can get the SHORT VERSION / EP of the album over at iTunes. CLICK IT.

He announced that he'll be dropping one more down-paced video (after these other two above hit 5,000 views each), and then he will be hitting you with more upbeat tracks from The Purity of Love and War. "Then when Summer's over, we gonna wrap up the rest of them joints. Hope that's coo with yall. ‪#‎Villain‬," he said.

Have you all seen his fundraising perks? In efforts to raise enough money to print 10,000 posters and hardcopies, he's offering a few awesome perks for your hard-earned dough. For example, for the first 10 (TEN) people who throw down $500 or $1000 towards his fundraiser, you'll be getting a lifetime package of FREE access to any show of his, hardcopies of every new project, and new merch... for the rest of your life or his. There is also a "FORTY VILLAINZ PACKAGE". With 40 slots available, those who donate $250 to the campaign will receive FREE access to all of his shows in 2016.

"Why? Because I want to always remember and be reminded of where I started, and where I could have been without the help of yall. This "10,000 Hardcopies + Posters" idea is my craziest by far, but I'm not worried about it. I made it this far with yall, I know we can go a lot further together." (source)

VIDA KILLZ:

One of the many things that I like about Vida Killz, other than her music, is her ability to express herself and what's in her heart, especially in such open spaces on the internet. I don't know her personally, but I like the honesty, love, and light that comes from what she shares. Even if she's going through hard times (such as described here), she makes the effort to find the good in a bad situation, and ends up spreading something uplifting and positive. By doing this, she not only elevates herself from a dark place, but she also comforts others who might be feeling some kind of way, too. At least, it does for me, and I genuinely enjoy seeing her posts on sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Tumblr. You should follow her everywhere, really.

I want to let you all in on something personal. Some of you may already know, or might pick up on this through my music/...

Posted by Vida Killz on Monday, June 29, 2015

Also, she has a couple of forms that she'd like people to fill out, so that she can gather information for some projects that she's doing. There is an "Independent Artist Goals" form, and a personal questionnaire about Overcoming Depression. Feel free to fill either or both of those out if it applies to you.

"Many of you know me as an artist and audio engineer. Well, lately, I have felt like my routine of writing a song, compiling an album, recording a music video, performing at shows, (lather, rinse, repeat) has fulfilled its purpose for now, and I’ve been seeking the next phase of evolution. My music has always been a way for me to heal and to connect with others who resonate with my music, which in turn aids in their healing. Over the years of my music career, listeners of mine from all over the world have written me messages stating that finding my art has helped them heal in some way. When I haven’t felt like creating music, those messages and people have been the fire underneath me, so to speak.

I have been working on figuring out what it is that I “do”….and if you were to ask me what that is now, I would say:

You know how a lot of young adults battle depression and feeling stuck? Well, I teach them how to experience joy at any moment. :]

The next phase of what that looks like for me is developing a system to aid in the daily struggles of depression. Depression is something I have battled and overcome, and I want to understand more about what others face during their depression. To do so, I need research, attached(in my bio - if you are reading this on IG) you will find survey form I developed to aid me in this research.

I am requesting this of you beautiful, sexy, wondrous souls: Have you experienced depression, overcome depression, or know anyone who comes to mind that has? If so, I’d love if you’d take a few minutes to fill out this quick and simple form, or forward it along to someone you know.

*It is completely anonymous, btw*
" (source)

Also, on the topic of depression and fluctuating moods, she took the time to create a Self-Care Crisis card. They're the size of a business card and are indended to be carried around for the times when you need it. Read here about how and why the idea for these handy cards came about, and learn how you can get one. Make sure you sign up for the mailing list, too.

RAZOR:

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeah, that's right! Razor will be the 8th person to step into the BARS sessions, so keep your eyes open for that one. It should be dropping sometime tonight.

From Razor's forthcoming Oblivious to Nonsense album, he dropped a brand new song, called "It's My Life". Featuring Von Poe VII and Praze, the song rides on self-reliance, being a wolf amongst sheep, and possessing the strength to persevere through anything life throws your way. Soulful singing in the hook, too. Listen below.

RELLIM:

If you stay tuned to Rellim's Soundcloud, you'd know that he dropped a new track last week. Putting his own spin on Atu's "Vacant", he adds some futuristic drum work, rattling hi-hats, and silky synth lines. If you like the original, you'll most likely still enjoy Rellim's edit, because he stays within a similar lane. It's nearing the 6K stream mark already, too! Listen to the remix below, and download for free here.

JOOGY JUGG:

Joogy let me know that on July 18th, he'll be dropping the official cover art to a single from his album, featuring Papa J. Ruiz. He may also drop a music video on his birthday, on July 21st. Make sure you stay tuned to his Twitter page for those updates and more. And, keep his birthday in mind, so you can shower him with love. I also read on Twitter that he made Joogy Music official, by getting an EIN for the business. I know when I/we turned CrayonBeats into a small business, and when I got that EIN, I was happy and proud as fuck. I imagine he's feeling the same way--get it, man! PS: Joogy Music beanies, yayerrrrr!

ENDUREONE:

On June 30th, EndureOne dropped a 10-track instrumental album, called Sundry & Aimless. Straying from any particular theme, this is a collection of tunes that he liked enough and thought should be heard. That said, you can expect easy-going boom bap beats with jazzy influences, with feelings that transition between sadness and delight. It's free to download, so go grab it from Bandcamp.

"Much unlike the arrangement, mood, and (I guess) style of each beat, the process I take when brainstorming a project is ordered and themed. However, attempting to piece together a coherent project that flows through with a theme is too difficult. I've done away with many beats (some of which were decent) just because they didn't 'fit' the tone I wanted. As a result, I have abandoned that approach completely. I wanted to put out a decent project, and therefore believed doing so required meticulous planning. Hence my failure at conducting an organized project, or even finishing one. So, this "album" (if we will call it that) is a product of waiting until I had enough pieces I was satisfied with to release as a project. But, there is no theme. Nothing ties them together, musically. Hence the title. "

------------------------------
Well, that's a wrap.
Hope you all had an enjoyable (and safe) weekend.
Be cool.
XOXO, Tiffology

Leadership and Success / A plethera of new visuals from the camp

My perspective has changed over the past few months of what success really means. I always associated success with being an expert in a certain field. Sometimes I associated it with having a lot of money and sometimes I associated it with living the way you want to live. My perspective is now that success is measured by how many people have been better off because you were alive. Organized Threat founder Von Poe VII, at a young age has already made a lot of lives better. Von Poe VII has given a lot of people the platform of Organized Threat to expand and grow their careers. On top of that, he has shot countless popular music videos for OTHER artists inside the camp and to my knowledge those come free of charge. Even him giving me the opportunity to be a personal blogger for Organized Threat has made my life better. If you are a current or former OGT member can you say that your life has been better because of  Poe? The following tweets from Von Poe VII are what inspired those thoughts..

This is FiascoTheGod and here is your latest OGT Weekly!

Von Poe VII

Von Poe VII appropriately takes part in session 7 of the BARS series from Organized Threat. Mr. 7 heads into a dimly lit setting with dirty white walls to showcase his lyrical skills. His verse actually comes from "Interlude: If iii" which can be found on Papa J. Ruiz's album HR-1955. Thanks to the meaning behind the BARS session, which is to showcase the lyrical talent of OGT, we are given an alternative way of experiencing of that Poe verse and in return can appreciate it more. I didn't know he was performing inside of a bathroom until some intruders walked in to wash their hands. Poe deciding to shoot it there shows his (or whom ever decided it was a good idea) ability to visualize.

As mentioned in the introduction Poe has been serving his people a lot. Whether he realizes it or not here, he has done it again with the BARS session. Instead of choosing a verse from one of HIS albums or creativing a new verse that again would focus on HIM, the verse he chose serves as another way to lead people to Papa J. Ruiz's album HR-1955. Now when someone asks Poe or an OGT fan "Where is that verse from?", we can now lead that person to Papa J.'s album.

Von Poe VII will be releasing a visual tomorrow. Although he's been on social media talking about his visual for "Titan" we shouldn't expect that to be the visual we see.According to a recent tweet from Poe we will be seeing a visual for "Dante's Inferno / Loyalty" before "Titan".

Papa J. Ruiz

From his HR 1955 album, Papa J. Ruiz has released his visual for "Rap Records" produced by Ruman and "LA Resident" produced by Joogy Music. The director is none other than Chad A. Marshall. It begins with a quote to think about by Eminem and leads to Papa J. Ruiz performing "Rap Records" with confident posture. We also witness SHORTSTOP give his contribution with his performance of "LA Resident".

The way the visual is broken up is definitely different then the way videos are usually done when there are two tracks in one visual. With my first time around I'm not sure how I feel about the setup. I believe if Organized Threat continues to play around with that approach it can only get better.

While indulging himself at the waterpark, Papa J. Ruiz had a supporter approach him. Click here to read the short version of the story via a tweet from Papa J. Ruiz.

According to a recent tweet, Papa J. Ruiz will be commencing music for 2016 "real soon" and promises to deliver nothing but classics.

Organized Threat

Vida Killz has new music waiting to be released, she just needs some time to take care of other things. In the meantime you can read her most recent blog entitled "Living With Her" and learn more about "Self-Care Crisis" cards she created. Both are related to PTSD. Through her personal experiences and research she has developed a system to help you obtain a fully optimum day, daily. If you ever encounter a moment throughout your day when you just can't shake a feeling that may be preventing you from being happy, Vida Killz' "Self-Care Crisis" cards will aid you. This is indeed an action of a successful person.

Yarah Bravo performed on the Music Apartment one June 3rd and under their Youtube channel they have released four Yarah Bravo performances. The Music Apartment is based out in Switzerland and they are a showcase series that puts focus on an artist in an intimate setting. I have placed "I Found Love" below. You can view "Be Your Own", "Spare Change", and "Carousel" by clicking each of the track titles. Even if you have heard these tracks before I recommend watching all of the visuals due to the great job done by Music Apartment and the fun you will have watching Yarah Bravo perform.

"life's a bitch." and "myst" with Vague003 are two of the newest releases from OGT producer Rellim. Both are free to download. They each differ in sound so depending on what mood you're in you'll probably prefer one over the other. Right now I'm liking "myst" a lot. With a comment below let us know which one you like.

Vic Virtuoso links up with Ben Franco (Non-OGT Member) for their visual "DRUGS". It definitely feels different to see a current OGT member in a visual not shot by Chad A. Marshall but, Vic Virtuoso holds it down and is without a doubt the star of the track. From all the content released as an Organized Threat member so far, his verses on "DRUGS" is not the typical.

There You Have It

There is your latest OGT Weekly and now it's time for me to jump off a cliff and before I hit the ground, metamorph into a cat and stop in my tracks because look, there's cotton candy.

Don't forget to share on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram and spread the word!

In Threat We Trust

VON POE VII / POETIC DEATH:

If you aren't up on what's happening with this cat, you gotta follow his social media accounts. Same with any of the OGT members. Speaking of social media, he is now on Snapchat, so if you get down with that app, go add him at "vonpoevii" (as if you thought it'd be some other name). That being said, he wrote, recorded, and dropped a brand-spankin-new song, as of an hour ago! Produced by STiM and inspired by phone calls with Papa J. Ruiz, "Steady Coastin'" has him rapping about the hard work and ambition it takes to really chase your dreams, especially when being faced with hurdles and setbacks. He's steady coastin' through it all. Then, a few days ago, he dropped another new track, called "Titan". Over a head-nodding, jazzy boom bap cut produced by 3Point, Poe spits aggressive bars about what it means to be a giant, always making moves and staying true to his word. Stream and download "Titan" for free.

DOWNLOAD

He also talked about dropping a new video soon, so stay tuned for that. And, just in case you didn't know how DEEEEP his discography really is, peep this tweet:

PAPA J. RUIZ:

As you all may know, Papa J. Ruiz opened up for Casey Veggies on May 14th, in Denver, Colorado. I'm assuming it went well (because why wouldn't it have?), which probably had him on a positive high on his trip to California... for his radio run tour. I'm hoping you were plugged into all of those shows, or at least one or a few of them. Spread out between Los Angeles and San Francisco, he was on Breakbeats and Rhymes with Rebels To The Grain, he was on the Crappy Awesome podcast with Mr. Arash and C-Rey, he was on iHeartRadio with Row Dayanghirang, and then on BReal TV's Heavyweights Radio with Mike XXL and DJ Truly Odd (WATCH HERE). If the others aren't already uploaded, I'm sure those will be available at their respective websites to stream soon, so keep your eyes open.

He also got down on the 5th installment of the Organized Threat series BARS, which is posted at the bottom. Now, I'm going to embed several posts where Papa J. Ruiz shared some photos with insightful and reflective words from his trip, because no one can talk about it like he can. Photos and experiences with friends, family, and fans. Give them a look over.

SONNY SEV:

Sonny Sev dropped a couple new tracks this month, you guys. The first one is called "Snatch", and he spits grimy raps over the same beat on Mobb Deep's "Still Shinin". He also lets it be known that you can call him Mr. Seven, and he's making the effort to be recognized everywhere... and the music he's been putting out lately only solidifies that. Respect. The other song is called "7 Roses", and it was produced by STiM. It's a real relaxing beat, with melancholy whistling in the forefront over dusty drums and melodic keys. Taking a deep breath, Sonny Sev lets his reflective thoughts unravel through storytelling lyrics about his life's bumpy ride of struggles and pain. I love listening to this one, because the emotional depth in his words really grabs me. Listen to both of these gems now.

He also blessed the 6th installment of the Organized Threat BARS series, so make sure you check that video out at the bottom. And for comedic relief, I saw this retweeted on his Twitter, so I thought I'd share... hahaha.

YARAH BRAVO:

Yarah Bravo has a live stream on June 3rd, at 7PM. I don't know any other information, like where it will be held at, where you can listen to it, or what, so make sure you stay tuned to her Facebook page for more information. Yarah will also be performing at a Gavlyn and Oh Blimey show this June, check this little post for a little more details.

VIDA KILLZ:

Seeing as how I got put onto both Von Poe VII (aka Poetic Death) and Vida Killz through their DeathKillz collaborative work, back in 2011, I thought I'd share the "Chapter Six" song that Vida Killz recently uploaded to her Soundcloud; Especially since those projects no longer exist on Bandcamp. The song was released in 2011, and produced by Kwervo. It finds the two intertwining poetic raps with spoken word (as they're known to do when they work together), lacing expressive lyrics with dark subject matter on life. If you're a visual person, you can also watch the music video over here.

SOULCAT E. PHIFE:

Soulcat shared a video from 2012 that I haven't seen, so I wanted to share it here... just in case any of you wanted to watch it, too! It's a 12-minute video where she shows her process of making a beat, primarily on her keyboard, from beginning to end. Check it out.

KOOLZ ONE:

While his Facebook fan page isn't popping anymore, Koolz posts a lot to Instagram, Twitter, and he's on Snapchat (koolz1_iicc). That said, if you haven't downloaded his Writers Block EP, you should go do that already. I mean, there's 11 songs and it's completely free, so what's stopping you?! This is a prelude to his The Alpha album coming soon, and he's already dropping previews of songs from that via social media (peep that IG embed).

XICAN BROWN:

Xican Brown and Koolz One have joined forces to become Society of the Ill. Two weeks ago, they released the first song under their new name, and it's called "Partners In Crime". Shiiiiit, why wouldn't it be called that? These partners in (c)rhyme crush this neck-breaking banger, by slanging lyrical weapons of mass destruction that prove that they aren't playing around. They're the shadows that lurk in the night! Stream below and download for free.

DOWNLOAD

If you wanted to get an idea for what Xican Brown is working on lately, make sure you pay attention to his Instagram page. He has shared a couple of previews of some beats he's working on, for example this one and this one.

RUMAN:

Producer Ruman shared a new track a couple days ago, called "4EVERWAVY". It's only 1 1/2 minutes in length, but it's a nice, slow-burning beat, laced with a thick bassline, jittery hi-hats, and tip-toeing, hazy synths. Stream below, and look out for more from him (such as a collab with Rellim). Also, go check out his Soundcloud page, because he just celebrated 100,000 total plays.

RELLIM:

Much like the rest of the camp, Rellim has been a busy dude. On May 15th, he dropped a 4-track instrumental project, titled Somewhere Not Here. He has said that these are not beats for people to rap over, so don't treat them as such, because these are meant to be listened to as is. In fact, these songs are really easy to listen to... on some kick up your feet, relax your mind, and cool out type vibes. They ride predominantly on head-nodding boom bap drums, some signature Rellim hi-hats, and a lot of soulful, jazzy grooves. When you listen to a lot of Rellim's past work, and then listen to this EP, it's quite nice to hear such a range and versatility with him. Well done, dude. This project is available for the pay-what-you-want price; whether you download it for free or donate some dollars, that's entirely up to you. Aside from grabbing it on Bandcamp, you can also find it on Audiomack, GotInstrumentals, and Youtube. Give it a listen, though!

Aside from that, he also shared 3 brand new tracks. The first was "Slurred" with Kaido. The second was "Come Home", with Mad Bæ, which will be on a collaborative album between the two soon. The third is a remix of Alina Baraz's song "Show Me", and it finds Rellim upping the heat of this rather seductive song, and I loooove it. Stream and download all of them for free. You're gonna want them.

ENDURE:

Producer Endure has dropped a couple of preview beats he's been working on, including this one. He was also seen hanging out with Papa J. Ruiz. Hopefully this guy will drop some new music soon, especially in a project of sorts where we can hear a bunch of stuff back-to-back... yeeeeah!

BARS: Lastly, here are the latest BARS videos from Papa J. Ruiz and Sonny Sev. Killin' it, as to be expected!

a storm is coming

Hello everyone, this is Fiasco and
my fingers are currently touching my keyboard so
I can provide you with the latest news in
the Organized Threat camp.
There is a lot of news in this edition of the OGT Weekly and
that's really good because that means...a storm is coming...

Papa J. Ruiz + Von Poe VII

Papa J. Ruiz and Von Poe VII have been delivering tons of conent this year and
it doesn't look like they plan to slow down. A recent video published on
the Organized Threat Facebook page prepares you for what is to
come. That's if we can prepare at all. Although both of these artists have
collaborated previously it seems that we may be getting a joint project from the two.
The duo of Von Poe VII and Vida Killz have been my favorite thus far to
come out of Organized Threat and the duo of
Von Poe VII and Papa J. Ruiz have potential to take that spot.

May 14th will be the day that Papa J. Ruiz
Performs with Casey Veggies in
Colorado. to witness this

If we can get Papa J. Ruiz's
"Live Free" visual to 30k views
He may release something new

Before continuing your read
Of this OGT Weekly, read
Papa J. Ruiz's moving message
to his supporters.

In about a month Von Poe VII will
Need some help. he sent out a request on
Instagram asking for assistance from people
In the Inland Empire. preferably between the ages of
18 and 21. if you have no interest in being a rapper
Then contact him through IG or Twitter.

How Did Rellim Get Started In OGT?

After committing the act of a
Simple Youtube search in
2011, Rellim came across OGT.
After watching an interview in 2013 with
Devour (former OGT member), Rellim
Chose to start sending beats to him.
Eventually they collaborated on "Ounce".
Von Poe VII ended up directing that visual
So he heard Rellim's production. After clearing up
The question of if Rellim was strictly Devour's producer,
Rellim subsequently commenced sending beats to
Poe. One of the beats was the second part to "FREDO".
This took place around the time Phora and Eskupe
Were no longer part of OGT and so Poe decided
To replace them with Rellim. Good choice Poe.

After hearing about Organized Threat
Rellim was somewhat interested in
Being a part of the Threat. Due to
The quality of the videos and music
Composed, Rellim thought they were a
Label. Thats not was he was looking for.
After realizing they were all
Independent, Rellim became more
Attracted to the team. Through hardwork
And good timing, Rellim became part of
Organized Threat and is now a proud
Current member.

Lyrical Overdose

The following two artists have released
Content that showcases their talents
As a writer/poet/mc. Koolz One has
Officially released his first EP since
Being a part of Organized Threat.
The Writers Block EP contains eleven
Tracks that prove why Koolz One is part of
The Threat in the first place. Koolz One
Seems to have found a lyrical buddy
In Xican Brown as he featured on
Four of the tracks.

Vida Killz is featured in the latest
BARS session. She empties her
Poetry "Lady Death pt.V".
Director Chad A. Marshall was
Present to capture this occurence.
The BARS session created by Organized
Threat is meant to focus on the "lyrical
Content" of their MCs. From the first
One released, I knew Vida Killz would
Be a perfect fit. I just had to wait for it to
Be released.
If you've been suffering from lack
Of lyrical passion and creativity,
Vida Killz and Koolz One have
Provided you a cure. no medical
Insurance required.

Organized Threat

The following announcement
Is news first released through
This edition of the OGT Weekly.
OGT producer JG will
Undergo a name change.
After coming across another
Artists using the name J.G.,
Our JG subsequently completed
Research on the internet to
See how many other JG's there
Are. After coming across too many
JG's and their lack of talent, our JG
Prefers to not be associated with
That name. He will now go by the name
URSUS.

Organized Threat now has an
Official Instagram page. You

Closing Words

Why did I decided to
Compose this OGT Weekly
In stanzas? It was just an
Idea that came to mind
And I decdied to type with it
(not run with it). I wanted to
Do something different and
So I did. You're welcome.

Threat Banga

VON POE VII / POETIC DEATH:

For one day, and one day only, Poe uploaded his very first album, titled The Atma Within, that he released 10 years ago. TEN YEARS AGO. FOR ONE DAY. On his birthday, April 13th. If you were like me and totally forgot about and/or were busy, then you/we missed out on that for good. But if you did get to hear it, what did you think of it? Inquiring minds want to know.

Alright, if you missed it, you're going to have to stop sobbing, because now you can watch his latest, JUST RELEASED music video. That's right--he's been filming for "The Villain II", in the Inland Empire area between the 17th and today, and just posted up the video minutes ago. Part two to the first song. The intro starts with a clip from Papa J.'s interview, where he talks about Poe being his favorite rapper in the game. Produced by Nez and Rio, and dropping his take on Asap Rocky's "Lord Pretty Flocko 2", Von Poe spits with a furious flow and holds his own. Like I said in this blog post, "My favorite part is the second verse, too, because he's spitting some from-the-heart, real shit, like representing for his town, demanding respecting, getting to where he is without hand-outs, and the shady friends that turned their backs on him after he's helped them in some way. The villain is poetically killin' 'em." YUP. Directed by Chad A. Marshall himself, so watch the music video below. If you haven't streamed and/or downloaded The Purity of Love and War, then get up on that right now. RIGHT NOW. He's also wrapping up the third volume in the Villain Trilogy, so look out for more information on that in due time.

Only working with a select few producers for the last piece of The Villain's Trilogy. No release date, but the album artwork is already finished.

PAPA J. RUIZ:

Guess what? Papa J. Ruiz will be opening up for Casey Veggies, on MAY 14TH, at the Gothic Theatre. So all of you Denver folks (and 16+ years of age) should go attend that one and show support to your boy. Von Poe VII will also be over there, showing his support.

Announcement 1: God is amazing, iii will be opening up for CASEY VEGGIES on MAY14TH at "The Gothic Theater" here in...

On April 1st, Papa J Ruiz did his first official interview since the release of HR-1955 (GO GET THAT). You, his fans, asked the questions and he answered them. Some of the questions were goofy and flirtatious, asking if he whistles in public and wanting to marry him; and some were the serious, run-of-the-mill interview questions, regarding his childhood, his future plans, what inspired him to pick up the mic. It's an insightful interview, so watch it below. It's a little over 8-minutes in length.

YARAH BRAVO:

Yarah Bravo has some shows coming up that you should know about, if you're out there in Europe (check the Facebook post below). One of them includes performing at Haubentacer, on June 14th, in Berlin, alongside Mobb Deep, EPMD, and more!

VIDA KILLZ:

Vida recently announced that she's going back to the drawing board, to think about what she should release next. "I hope this next chapter of my expression and art is as meaningful to you as the last few chapters. I am eternally blessed to have all of you tuned into the vibration I choose to emit, she said.

She is still seeking more photos from people around the world, regarding holding up a paper sign with handwritten words of encouragement, a positive affirmation, or something you miss about someone you love who has passed away (only one sentence). She needs over 200 of these, and they will be used for a new music video that she's working on for "Untitled". So, check out this FACEBOOK EVENT for more information and participation.

KOOLZ ONE:

Koolz dropped a couple of new tracks from his forthcoming EP, titled Writers Block (it was originally scheduled to release the first week of April, but it got pushed back). Up to bat first is a song called "Organized Inc.", and it features Xican Brown. Out for vengeance in the trenches, the two jump on a hard-hitting, bass thumping beat, trading boastful verses. The third single is called "Threat Banga", and it features fellow OGT members Xican Brown and Sonny Sev. All three of them come out swinging with aggressive deliveries and lyrical threats to anyone who steps on their toes. Both songs are available for free download via Mediafire (here and here), so click those links below the players (or if you go directly to Soundcloud, click the "Download" button).

RELLIM:

Rellim recently announced that he's starting on a new EP, called Ashes. "Adieu" is the first single. It was co-produced by himself and Shy Martian. I assume this is going to be a rap project, based on this track. This isn't his first one either; check out Trailer Trash, if you want. Stream "Adieu" below. He also dropped a track with Mike Labyrinth, called "B3NZ", that he produced. It sounds like something you'd listen to driving at night, with the slow jazz horns guiding the mellow rhythm, and thumping drums, rapid hi-hats, and chopped vocal samples in the forefront. Stream it below, along with "Adieu". Free downloads on both via Soundcloud.

VIC VIRTUOSO:

On April 13th, Vic Virtuoso dropped a music video, for a self-produced song called "Pale Moon Light". This is his second music video, following "Heathen". Referencing The Joker, when he asks his prey/Bruce Wayne, "Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?", Vic Virtuoso takes us down a dark alley of personal thoughts, past sins, death, and friends turned enemies. Watch the music video below (or go directly to Youtube to watch in HD). Directed by none other than Chad A. Marshall. Stream and download the song on Soundcloud, too!

RAZOR:

Razor's Oblivious to Nonsense album comes out this summer, and he posted up a song from it. Produced by Rellim and Arm$trong, "24Seven" finds A-Fresh and Razor rapping about pushing through struggle, having a great work ethic, and striving for success. From the hook: "Money on my mind, like 24/7 // So I gotta go hard in every single one of my studio sessions // Money on my mind, like 24/7 // Bitch, I've been a man from a young age, like I skipped adolescence." Stream the song below!

BELATED BIRTHDAY SHOUT OUTS TO RUMAN (April 7th), XICAN BROWN (April 8th), and VON POE VII (April 13th).

--------------------------
That wraps it up for now.
Make sure you stay in-the-know with these artists, by following them on their social media.
Have a great weekend!
Until next time,

Listen to Papa J. Ruiz's "HR-1955" and Learn More of What's New in OGT

This is Fiasco and I am alive right now to supply you with the latest news on Organized Threat. Can I outdo the effort Tiff put in the previous OGT Weekly?

HR-1955 IS OFFICIALLY OUT!

Dedicated to his son Nasir Lyric Ruiz, Papa J. Ruiz has officially released his HR-1955 album. Before commencing your journey into the album, it is important you view this exclusive interview with Papa J. Ruiz below;

HR-1955 contains 17 tracks that provides us with more life experiences of Papa J. Ruiz expressed through his rapping ability. We are met with Papa J. Ruiz's raw rhyming over superb production. Off the top of my head, one of my favorite lines so far coming from his "Color Blind" track is "Throw me in some holy water / Baby watch that shit boil". You can't help but picture Papa J. standing tall as steam rises around him. On top of that it is sure to get a few religious people "boiling", only if they take the line to heart. That's what I like.

The second part of "Domestic Terrorist" is a nice highlight of the album. When we were introduced to the visual we were not told that there are features. Then, the album tracklist showed that JMega and Von Poe VII are featured on it. So for those of you who like to start from track 1, were surely anticipating what they had to offer. For those who didn't care what track they listened to first, definitely skipped straight to "Domestic Terrorist".

The second half of "PennyLess" was one of my favorite highlights of the album. The production is not what we are normally used to hearing from Ruiz. It was definitely a nice addition to close out the album. Possibly foreshadowing what  his next project may sound like.

Words that come to mind after listening to HR-1955; loyalty, hard work, never quit, passion

From the purchases shown on bandcamp to the tweets retweeted by Papa J. Ruiz, HR-1955 is being accepted by a lot of listeners. And that's not surprising at all. Click here to listen to HR-1955.

LATEST ON VON POE VII

"Soliloquy" is the newest visual from Von Poe VII and it is from his The Purity of Love and War album. My initial reaction was the visual itself is 100x more important than the audio. I really believe that what we are presented with are the types of visuals one would think about by just listening to the production by the Nujabees, alone. A lot of sunshine and people smiling.

Von Poe VII also linked up with Foxsta for their track "Negus".

Being that April is Von Poe VII's birthday month, he is contemplating on dropping one visual a week. It is unknown from which albums these visuals will come from. Click here to view the tweet. Von Poe VII also hints that the final album to his The Villainz Trilogy will be the "darkest" of the three. He went on to compare it to his DTTS: Chapter 2. album which is no longer available. Do you know what that means? It means I'm going to really like this last album.

#OGTNEWS

Step aside Koolz One, Rellim will make the announcement for you! Rellim took to Twitter to let everyone know that Koolz One will be dropping a track today. Given the fact that Rellim announced it, leads me to believe that he is responsible for the production. If not, then he just might be really excited about the news.

Joogy has officially launched his website. It's clean and very easy to navigate. Check it out by clicking here.

Vida Killz has converted from soft copies to hard copies. Her Alchemy and Conversations With You: The Collection are now available in hard copies on her bandcamp.

Sonny Sev's upcoming project Localz Only is getting a slight change. Originally it was only supposed to be STiM producing the entire project but Sev's vision has changed and he now accept production from other producers.

#OGTMUSIC

JG features his daughter Braelyn on his new track "Retarded Ass Bars".

Did you sneeze? "Bless You" is the newest track from Sonny Sev. Sev spits over production from STiM as both continue to build their emcee/producer relationship. Make sure to take advantage of the free download below.

Vic Virtuoso is next up in the BARS series. The BARS series presented by Organized Threat is designed to focus the spotlight on the lyrics of the OGT emcees. This is an ingenious idea that I hope they will carry on consistently for as long as possible. Even if they need to do the same emcee twice! It doesn't matter! Vic Virtuoso brilliantly utilizes bilingual wordplay in his session for the BARS series. Here is "Fresh Off The Boat" from one of Organized Threat's newest addition to the roster.

With Von Poe VII recently linking up with Papa J. Ruiz in Colorado, it is possible that Papa J. Ruiz is next.

You may be asking yourself why my OGT Weekly was published a bit later than usual. Well I've just been in one of those ruts as a writer. More as a blogger/journalist because I haven't been publishing on the other website I write for either. I have been doing more of my personal writing which is what I've been wanting to focus on lately. I know you enjoyed this OGT Weekly so I don't have to hope that you did. Make sure to check it over a second or third time and share with a friend. If you don't like a person, send this to them, too. You guys will be friends after. Trust me.
